Our guide/driver, Leo, was relaxed, accommodating (stopped so we could get a coffee), knowledgable about Santiago complete with dates, and an excellent driver (no tension in the car). His tour provided us with an overview of the whole city, not just the historical core. The city is beautiful and if we hadn’t taken this tour our impression might be different. He stopped at key sites giving us time to get out of the car and see the site (eg. Cathedral, Santa Lucía Hill, etc). Highly recommend this 1/2 day tour in a very comfortable auto.

We enjoyed the tour of the city. Our guide Carolina was informative and interesting. The van was clean and cool. Unfortunately it was Sunday so a lot of shops And businesses were closed and we did not get a typical feel for the city. However, traffic was light. Good overall way to get oriented to the city.

Knowledgeable, safe, friendly tour of Santiago

Gabriel was a very knowledgeable tour guide who was articulate in early history of Santiago to present. He was able to make recommendations of other restaurants and sites to see during our visit to Chile. We enjoyed his tour so much we booked another tour to visit Portillo and visit a winery. We especially enjoyed his recommendation to eat lunch at Vina Santa Rita in Maipo Valley the next day.

Enjoyable Comprehensive City Tour

Gabrielle , our guide was an absolute font of information. Told us loads about the country’s and city's History. Was perfectly punctual, car was very comfortable and clean. Communication prompt. Gabrielle has a great sense of humour and his English is perfect. We had adequate free time at various spots and did not feel rushed.
If you have half a day to take in the major sights , this is the trip for you.

Excellent tour
Went on this tour yesterday. Was an excellent way to see Santiago at the start of our trip. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable with excellent English as he had lived in the US. We saw all the highlights and he was incredibly informative about all things not just in Chile but South America in general. We ended up just the 2 of us on this tour. So very private tour indeed. Highly recommended, especially if you do not have a lot of time in Santiago.

This really is a great way to see the highlights of Santiago. The tour guide Fransisco couldn't have been friendlier, more enthusiastic and knowledgeable.. We were here for just two nights prior to joining a cruise so very limited time to see the city. I would highly recommend this tour.

Was very enjoyable, visiting a popular food market, given time to walk freely through a park, visiting a historic fort in the heart of the city, all accompannied by a friendly and knowledgable native tour guide who filled us in with history and recent events. Hector knows his stuff.

Stood up
Booked a half day tour of Santiago. Confirmed, paid, stood up. No answer at “emergency” number on tour ticket. Now wasted all morning and will have to fight to get refund? Better skip Viator.
