If you want to get to know a city quickly this is an excellent way to go. Tomas was an exceptional guide with so much knowledge of the city and history of Chile. Visited places that it would take many trips to find and provided me with a great bucket list of places to visit during my stay.

      Loved our tour with Mauricio!
We had a wonderful day in Valparaiso and Viña Del Mar with our driver and tour guide Mauricio with Huaso Tours. This was our first trip to Chile and we were excited to get an in-depth view of the culture, history, and sights. Mauricio was very accommodating with a comfortable van and well stocked with water and all the things we might need on our drive. On our drive, he engaged us with stories about the country and places we were going to visit. We also loved the fact that he tailored the tour to our interests after asking us what we would rather spend our time seeing and experiencing. Unlike other tour guides, he did not send us into any tourist traps with pressure to purchase items. By the end of our trip, we felt like long time friends! Mauricio speaks excellent English, so we would definitely recommend him for any tourists from the US or English speaking countries.

      Bike through Santiago
Perfect way to see the different parks in Santiago. I did not have the skill needed for this tour, but Balthazar was super accommodation and found a way for me to get down. Note that you will be biking up hill for a good chunk of this tour but the views are worth it.

      Recommend!
My husband and I did this tour. Wonderful, easy-going way to see the cultural highlights of the city. Santiago is great for cycling. Jaime, our guide, took great care of us. So glad we did this. I recommend doing this early in your stay so that you can plan where you want to spend more time if you have a few days in Santiago.

      Not great
My wife and I travel a lot and in every new city we take a city tour to learn more about the area. Our tour guide Jaime did not seem interested in doing the tour. There was little discussion about the different areas we were traveling through. We had a driver so Jaime had no reason to not engage. There never seemed to bring up much history of the city. We had a food tour the day before that brought us to the Central Market ... upon hearing this Jaime cut that portion out. Our tour was just 3 hours ... not worth it.

A great day in Canyon de Maipo
This tour was amazing! Mauricio our tour guide went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He brought my husband and I hiking to see the lake and had a great lunch and delicious wine after at Concha y Toro. Would highly recommend this tour!

      Got connected to Chile
I really enjoyed my tour with Lautaro. I learned a whole lot about Santiago, chile, and chilenos. At times I felt that I was back in a university class. I applaud Lautauro from not shying away from the national library where some of the USs more shameful moments were on display. But it just reminded me that governments do what thy do, but people are people and can get past that when they look in each other's eyes and see their common humanity. Great tour and thanks for making me for more connected to Chile!

Great day out to the Andes
Great day out to the Andes with our wonderful guide Juan. His energy and humour was made our day fun and enlightening. The drive out to the reservoir was incredible and we had fun freaking through the snow, on a beautiful clear day. The traffic out of the reservoir was becoming an issue but Juan handled it perfectly and got us out of a tricky situation. Stops at the chocolate factory and a traditional sandwich afterwards were great, and we really appreciated seeing the countryside after being in the big city . We can Iggy recommend this tour and our guide Juan

      Private walking tour with friends.
We took the private walking tour of Santiago with Hernan’s and he was fantastic. Polite, well spoken in English, knowledgeable of the city and history of Santiago. We saw parts of the city we would never have gone to, so happy we took this tour. Great stop for lunch. We highly recommend this tour and Hernan!

First thing to do in Santiago is take a personal tour with Huaso Tours and Jamie
Our guide, Jamie, was fantastic. He explained everything well; sights, history, culture. The tour was customized to our interests. He also showed us how to use the subway and gave pointers on things we could do on our own later. I highly recommend Jamie and our tour guide company, Huaso Tours in order to learn about Santiago

I was nervous about riding a bike at night through a new city but Balthazar made it easy. He’s an expert on a mountain bike but let me go at my own pace and stop when I needed to. It’s a great way to check out the way the neighborhoods change and you may get to interact with interesting locals. Be sure to ask for recommendations on places to eat and drink! I had a blast!

I contacted Patricio last minute to book for a same day solo trip. He was very accommodating! I was staying at the Sheraton and the bike pick up was in walking distance from there. Andres my guide was fantastic. He made sure I was safe at all the time navigating through the streets. Great bike, easy to ride and in good condition. We made several stops and Andres gave a lot of info about the history of Chile, he’s very knowledgeable. I would definitely do another tour with Huaso Tours if I come back to Santiago. I really enjoyed it and they helped me with making the most of my short stay. I hit a lot of the highlights and got to see a lot of Santiago in a fun way and short time.

Wonderful time. Tomas knew a lot about the city and took us all over to see sites and learn the history. He also gave us links if we wanted to learn more. Without the sun beating down we were able to catch cool air blowing off our face making the ride very pleasant.

While our guide, Jaime, was outstanding, the condition of our bikes was mediocre. After about 10 minutes of riding, the gears in my bike wouldn’t hold due, it turned out, to a lot of obvious debris in the gears. A replacement bike was brought quickly to the rescue; however, when it got dark, i found out neither of the lights on the bike were charged so neither worked. We learned a lot about Santiago during the tour from Jaime, but the bikes did not seem well maintained and I was not comfortable riding through car and pedestrian traffic for 2 dark hours without bike lights. If you choose this tour company, make sure the bikes are in good shape, especially if riding at night!

So, before I did this tour with Juan, I knew like 4 things about Chile: wine, ski resorts, dictatorships and mining accidents. Juan relieved me of my ignorance with detailed explanations of the sites we visited, and put these places in the context of Chile's journey through a complicated and difficult history. I particularly enjoyed visiting the university area and learning about a Nobel prize laureate poet who has a dark history yet to be acknowledged by the major art institutions.

We booked a private tour as we had a specific time we had to start. This turned out to be a blessing for my partner and I, as we got to enjoy a rich Andean sunset riding alongside the Mapucho river into the city, then get to see Santiago come alive with youthful revelry.

This was a terrific way to spend a long layover between one LATAM flight and the next; Juan graciously arranged an Uber to the airport and, worn out from the tour, we slept easily on the plane to our next destination. Thank you for making Chile great, Juan and Huaso bike tours!

Juan gave us a great tour and bike ride through the city. We learned a lot about Santiago and we got to taste a fabulous drink aka the earthquake too. This a great way to see the city on a bike and at night. It was my birthday and I am glad I chose to do this. P.S the drink is great but it is strong so don’t drink it on an empty stomach.
