Wonderful day with Nelson of Angelmo Tours! We arrived by cruise ship, and Nelson patiently waited for us despite a delay in disembarkation. We visited the Volcano, and he even walked up the trails with us to capture pictures he shared with us at the end of the tour! He was the only guide who accompanied guests to the top. Beautiful trip to Petrohue Falls and Lagos Los Santos. We toured for 6 hours, returned to the ship on time, and learned so much about the area. Bilingual guide, I highly recommend this tour.

We booked a trip with them at 5:30 pm for a trip the next morning, through Trip Advisor and received confirmation via Trip Advisor saying “you are all set to go” “your pick up is at 9 am at your hotel”. We went to bed that night and woke up to several emails and a WhatsApp message from “Nelson” from this tour operator asking us to contact them (first message was at 10:36 pm, while we were asleep). The last email from them that night was at 12:30 am telling us they were cancelling the tour because we did not reply to their previous emails 2 hrs before - like I said, we were sleeping. Another email from “Nelson” said they tried to contact us through the hotel, but were unable to. Once we woke up the next morning we tried several times to call and text them via WhatsApp starting at 7:30 am and no one answered. Our hotel said they were never contacted by them. Ok, so they cancelled - stuff happens - problem is they are blaming us for not contacting them during that two hour window they randomly gave us while we were asleep and REFUSE to refund our money. Viator tours sent us an email saying they will not refund the $156 because their manifest shows that the tour we booked on went out that day and picked up people from our hotel???? Someone is not telling the truth and they want to collect $156 from us for doing nothing? Of course a dispute with the credit card company is being filed. I highly suggest you avoid Angelmo Tours and Viator Tours.
