      batik painting and Kampong Glam
We have joined the batik painting and Kampong Glam tour from the Oriental Tours and travel. I enjoyed and the tour guide Ayob was so professional and an expert in Singapore history. All the personal touched detail was excellent as well.

      Creepy, educational, entertaining
We were a group of 3 singaporeans and 1 american and we all really enjoyed the historical part and learned a lot even if the singaporeans learned about Singaporea WW2 history in school. We were also thoroughly scared and entertained during the tour. Our group had a varying level of enthusiasm about encountering paranormal activity but we all enjoyed ourselves. It was definitely creepy!!

Exciting experience to walk amongst history
What an experience to get the heart racing! I love going on Ghost Tours to hear about the darker history and with this tour had the bonus on learning about Singapore during WWII. Was enthralled how Singaporean people lived and survived while being occupied by the Japanese. As for ghosts it is up for you to find out. I was certain that there was a presence, curious about the group that night but alas no photo proof. At the end of the tour we explored one of the largest Chinese cemetery which unfortunately will no longer be around in 5 years time. So different to western cemeteries was so fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend either for the ghosts or the history or both!

      Great fun and interesting
Really enjoyed this tour, especially the locations visited and the Singapore's history generally and especially the war history provided. It really wasn't terribly "creepy" and the haunted bit felt a little bit gimmicky, but the guides were knowledgeable, the tour was well put together and it was a lot of fun. We went places that we would never have visited if not on this tour. I would definitely recommend it.

      Back to History
What I love most about this tour is the amount of new information I received about the historical aspect of Singapore during WW2. This is reflective of the amount of research Stanley has done to ensure information gathered is accurate and accounts of what happened then and what was said is delivered in the most authentic manner along with photos. I also enjoyed the cemetery visit. It brought me back to my childhood days where I would visit relative’s grave to clean and pay my respect during Qing Ming Festival. Graveyards may soon become a thing of the past in Singapore. Before I can no longer lay my hands on someone’s tomb, I am certainly glad I had that opportunity to reminisce how majestic I thought these tombs were as a child and again as an adult. Our ancestors certainly placed value on a person’s life and death beyond what we can comprehend. Thank you Stanley! And thank you Jasmine! You both work really well together and are an amazing pair of guides who bring different perspectives of “east meets west”.

Yea do check this out, its fun
Well I am just gonna copy paste the message I left them, with my thoughts at the end Hi Jasmine, I just wanted to write you a note to let you know that I really enjoyed the tour last evening. It was well thought out and organised. I noticed you and Stanley always had one person in the front and one in the back for safety. I think it was great fun and I asked my sisters to go too and they said they were too scared! I really appreciate the thought that went into explaining the aggression of the Japanese in Asia and eventually Malaya and the fall of Singapore what happened after that until the split from Malaysia and our unwanted declaration of independence. I hope the teenagers now could hear that too, and this platform could be great for that. I think this tour was very well organised and just great fun. Thank you and good luck to you (Jasmine) and Stanley! end As a Singaporean I have been on some tours in my schooling days but this taught me quite a bit. My favourite bit was the guides explaining the heroics of our defenders on Bukit Chandu let by our by one of our own, Lieutenant Adnan Saidi and what happened on the Japanese occupation to our people. It is a very good journey through history from the beginning of the Japanese aggression in China to the invasion of Malaya and the fall of Singapore to our independence. And through out this was filled with creepy stories linked to that history. I would highly recommend this to upper secondary, poly, jc and ite students to check it out. It is informative, fun and safe yet thrilling.

Creepy Singapore Tales & Ghost Tour
Would you ever imagine you would in any one fine evenings simply grab your bag, put on your sneakers and head over to Singapore's most haunted places for a walk, much less to a century old cemetery to explore those creepy tombstones? Probably not, right? It's even insane to say the least. But everything is possible simply because someone understood what we're dying for and turned them into a reality for us. Had it not for the fact I was struggling to find the best choice of option to utilize my SG Rediscovers Vouchers close to its expiry dateline, I wouldn't have known Jasmine and Stanley, Oriental Tours and these exclusive programs (I'm a die-hard paranormal enthusiast, mind you!) they had organized. Well, to simply reiterate those accolades all over again as most participants before me already did is outright dull for me. I only know I'm in for their next haunting tour: Singapore Murder Story & Ghost Tour without fail! Join me instead to show your appreciation! :)

      Enriching & Engaging
We took the Peranakan & Eurasian Journey Tour, and it was well-organised, well-designed and well-curated. Within those 4 hours, much was covered and the history that was shared kept us interested. And our guide Katherine Ross was superb. Many tour guides might just parrot what we see in history books, but Kat is a gifted storyteller who kept us engaged from start to end by allowing us to immerse in those moments in history while telling the story, so we could connect with how people at that time must have lived and felt. Why were matriachs in Peranakan families so highly regarded and feared? Why did Portuguese egg tarts originate in monasteries? How did Bak Kut Teh get started by coolies? Those were just some of the hooks that kept us attentive throughout the tour. Highly Recommended.

Haunting sites of creepy tour of SG
I have not gone for any tours in SG esp at night n that too for haunted premises which Kent Ridge park,Labrador park and also Bukit Brown cemetery. It was great to know about our past history of SG and totally have no regrets. Our paranormal detector did give out signs of negative energy around us. I was surprised we could do such a tour at Labrador park in pitch dark with jus our candles and also at Bukit Brown cemetery. Never been or seen Bukit brown cemetery before. You should go experience our history n the hauntings that took place while here in SG. Thanks to Oriental Tour 👍🏼

      Excellent
The tour is conducted with such excellence and in a professional manner. Jasmine and Stanley did an exceptional job in delivering the history of Singapore through Japanese occupation and demonstrates that they are knowledgeable in this area. Their recount of the gravestones at Bukit Brown was also done through dignity and respect of those who have passed. In addition, they instruments that they brought to allow us to experience the spiritual world shows that they take this seriously and have been trained in this area. I’ve enjoyed this so much and am thankful to have done this. Thank you!

We had a great tour with Tang. We were only 4 so it was a small cozy group, easy to ask questions and chat. It’s a great way to see and learn about the city as well as get to taste some really delicious food. We had 2 full dishes a few snacks on the way and a great local dessert. In the end we were very pleased with the tour.

Singapore teems with great food outlets. This tour was terrible. We didnt visit any of them!!! Did not live up to advertised expectations at all. Michelin as a food standard is falsely used. We started at a modest resturant with broth and it went down hill from there.
Positives. There were none. Three hours of my life I won't get back.
Negatives. Nothing delivered as advertised. Temple was shut. It was raining but no umbrellas provided. No drinks provided not even water. We were taken to scungy dining areas and served a plate of rice. Next some coloured muck that my dog wouldn't eat. And on it went. There were four of us. Nearly $500 in sales. Food value $20 total. Drinks $0.
We have done foodie tours all over the world and operate a 5 star resturant. I have never written such a scathing review ever. Be warned.

This tour was everything and more than we thought it would be. Tham was great. She was informative, interesting and extremely knowledgeable. She is an asset to this tour. We learned more about the food of Singapore and Chinatown than we thought possible. We tried some amazing dishes. Highly recommend this tour and Tham. Only suggestion we could suggest is to update the meeting point. With 2 addresses for us North Americans was confusing. To say “the corner of Upper Cross and North Bridge by the MRT” would be much clearer for us to understand. Fortunately Tham waited for us as we were late getting to the meeting point.
