Along the boardwalk, it allows a close experience with mangrove inhabitants at night. Listen to the strange calls and seek the nocturnal creatures like owls, nightjars, water snakes, frogs & toads, civet cat, etc... prepare to be surprised and amazed!

    Easy Peasy Park Walk
This 10km walk is so easy you hardly have time to feel sticky even in the humid weather. Starting from the Kent Ridge Park where I saw many birders waiting (in vain) for the migratory bird Lanceloted warbler, a rather inconspicuous bird to my mind. I passed many parks to the end which is the Harbourfront hence I took 2 days to filly enjoy the canopy walk as well as the Henderson Waves towards Mount Faber and the Cable car station. The path was 'clean' either paved road or steel structures that the sole hardly touch soil. Easy even if you go with toddlers

Lovely walk with plenty to see, great elevated walkways through the tropical jungle!
A unique and interesting walk with well maintained walkways and plenty of points of interest throughout. The whole walkway joins the three parks (Kent, Hort, Faber) and there are lots of points to join or leave the walk. We did over 9k but it did not feel much - even though it was hot and humid. Much of it is in shade, or part shade, and each park has a very different feel. The elevated walkways through the jungle like canopy were great - safe underfoot and wide enough to keep our distance from the few people we encountered. The central part of the walk includes many separate gardens and we could have spent much more time there. The raised walkways are very gently sloped, so even though they go through the tree tops (and provide some great views), at no point did it feel like a hard slog. The walk takes I. The Henderson Wave bridge, 300 m long and 100ft up, good views of the city. It is lit at night but we didn’t stay from that. It’s possible too, to take the cable car to Sentosa Island from mt Faber which is on this walk - we found it was quite nice to rest our legs a little so took the cable car there and back. Much preferred the ridges walk to anything Sentosa island offered but guess it’s a matter of choice!

Karen is experimented and my children and I learned a lot from this interesting tour. It’s a very refreshing change from the bustling and animated city. I recommend it. The only downside is that the location is far from the center. But you (and/or your kids) will remember this memorable adventure!
