TripAdvisor Gardens by the Bay "tickets' don't work, had to rebuy tickets onsite
TripAdvisor tickets did not download, we had to rebuy tickets. also hard to find tickets as multiple emails along with lots of marketing type TripAdvisor emails. what we thought were tickets (looked like tickets) were not accepted by Gardens by the Bay. would not recommend using TripAdvisor to buy these tickets.

    I was not impressed
While you get great views of Singapore and the Strait, the whole experience felt very mass produced to me. Line to get into the building just to buy tickets, then line to get on the elevator. Once you get to the top, there isn't much to the experience- just an obs deck with countless other tourists. You do get good views, but you can get the same view (even better since Marina Bay Sands isn't part of your view at this observation deck) at countless rooftop bars/lounges.

Gardens by the Bay - a commercial rip off
Much vaunted, this attraction turned out to be a big disappointment. First problem - Gardens by the Bay metro station is not the nearest one, Bayfront is nearer. Second problem - Cloud Forest was closed the day I visited (20 Nov) Third problem - Flower Dome had flowers and trees but the displays were spoiled by Disney-like plastic houses and figures among them. It was a waste time and $20.

Amazing views of the city a night
A must do when in Singapore to see the city and day or night. We visited at 7pm nice dry day and the city view was amazing. You could see for miles. It does get busy but there is plenty of room for everyone. If you want that extra special touch there is a bar here to

    Good fun
A great fun afternoon, a ride on a cable car up to the top then a race to the bottom on one of the 4 fabulous routes.

Have too do, don’t know why
It’s expensive for what it is. Basically a lift up 57 floors a walk around on a hotel roof in Singapore’s hot sun. Take a few photos. Then a lift back down. 1/2 Hour your done, or you’ll melt. No shade except in restaurant. No seats, except in restaurant. You have to do it because it’s the best view over Singapore, but after you wonder why you bothered and if there is more than one of you, it really starts to get expensive.

    I’d go up again
A great view of the city. This wasn’t too expensive for Singapore. $27. Up the top you can spend as much time as you like. Drinks and food are available for purchase at a reasonable price.

Worth a stop at the Singapore Zoo!
We took a taxi to the Singapore Zoo as our lodging was located at Orchard Road- quite a distance with the MRT including transfers. The forecast was rain at least a good part of the day but we decided to go forth with our plans. One thing for sure is that the Singapore Zoo is ready for inclement weather such as rain as there are coverings all over the zoo so you don't really get too wet and also to protect from the hot sun at times. We were able to see all the animals that we had planned to see. During our visit in August, the Singapore Zoo was in the midst of celebrating the zoo's 50th birthday with a lot of colorful inflatable animals to take pictures with. The animals were arranged in environments that are convenient for us to see them- even through the glass windows. Make sure you check the schedule online before your visit to see what zookeeper talks and feedings of various animals you are interested to see and hear. They are very on time with these sessions and it is a great opportunity to learn more about species that are new to you. It can help make your visit to the Singapore Zoo more memorable. The signs and displays for the animals are whimsically and colorfully decorated to keep you interested to read them. The animals all appeared very contented in their enclosed environments. There was a shuttle bus that ran around the zoo but the lines were long; therefore, it was much easier to just walk. There are nice exhibits on the Hamadryas Baboon as you can see them playing around in their outdoor environment-- good to stop for a few minutes and observe their social behaviors such as grooming and cleaning each other, especially the moms with their baby. The Proboscis Monkey exhibit is also another nice one to see as it is a rarity that one can see them as they are endemic to the Borneo jungles. The exhibit is nicely arranged where there are plenty of trees for them to climb and move around. Their unusual large noses (adults) definitely are a sight to see especially when they are trying to eat. There were quite a few subadults as well and females as their noses appeared to be much smaller but still large for a primate. When leaving if you plan to take public transportation with the MRT, there are signs to direct you over to the Kaibab Shuttle that is necessary to connect with the MRT station. The bus ride is about 15 minutes and runs on a schedule of every 15-20 minutes. The cost is only 2S (about $1.47) a ride and you can uses your credit card for this transaction. Definitely worth at least 4-5 hours for a visit to this well-organized zoo in while you are in Singapore.

    Not much content
Not much content - admission gets you one floor / gallery then have to pay extra for other floors and experiences- as a scientist and art lover I was bored and the kids found it very boring. Didn’t mind the exhibition on development of the science fiction novel over the 20 century. Done and dusted in ten minutes.

    Marina Bay Skypark Observation Deck
Had a great time at the Skypark, I'd recommend going in the afternoon when it's cooler or at night and catch a glimpse of the light show from up above . The view is amazing.

    Misleading!!!
The title is “Night Safari Entry Ticket” what is very misleading because it’s not the entry ticket. So went there with only this ticket (2 adults) but we didn’t came in because we had no entry ticket. Only after your purchase it says “this is not your entry ticket” but then you have bought it already. So we bought 2 tickets but we use 0…

    Disappointing
One cable car line was under maintenance and heard that ride is most significant. There was another ride thru sentosa which is just ok. So bit disappointed and wasted money unnecessarily.

    For views of Singapore
I tried to make a reservation at one of the restaurants atop the Marina Bay Sands but for some reason or another, was unable to, so I instead purchased tickets for the Sky Park observation deck. I made the time for right before sunset so that we could get the day vs. nighttime views on the same day. My husband and I arrived at the Marina Bay Sands and tickets for the deck were sold out for the day. Luckily, we had our prepaid tickets so we showed them to the attendant and were scanned through. We waited in a short line for one of the elevators and were whisked up to the observation deck. There are timeslots to avoid overcrowding but they don’t necessarily tell people to leave either. We were able to get some great shots of the bay and even had a beer while we waited for sunset. The views were great as the weather was hot but somewhat clear. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a view of the infinity pool because that’s for the Ce La Vi restaurant reservations. The Sky Park is just a deck in the sky, so you get a quick peek at the view and you can stay or leave. They take a photo of you before you go up to the top with a fake background for purchase. The restrooms were clean at the top and there was a small gift shop for souvenirs. It was one of the touristy things to do in Singapore so we crossed it off of our list.

    Highly recommend!
Well worth the money. Even if you are not a "gardener at heart", the displays were breathtaking and beautiful...

A month ago today, Monday 24.10.22, we went to Jewel Changi Airport which is a new mall attached to Singapore’s airport with Jack, my sister Teresa, brother Peter and my two grandnieces, Grace and Faith 🥰 We didn’t know that they have the tallest indoor waterfall in the world. It was really lovely to watch it!

We also went to Jewel Changi food court and it’s so clean and well managed as all Singaporean food areas are and there’s even designated halal and non halal food tray trolley here. Lovely to see both Muslims and non Muslims able to dine comfortably in a shared space, this is harmony 💛

We did the forest trail walks as well as visited the Pokémon shop which is one and only in this region! Quite a lovely day of outing and it’s a huge mall with lots of restaurants so you can spend a whole day here! Easily getable by bus or train and highly recommended 💛

The rain vortex is definitely the highlight of my visit. Although it is connected to the airport terminals (it is a shopping mall and not inside an airport terminal), it is open to the public which means you can visit it if you live in the city, even if you do not have a flight. A brilliant idea ;) As many have said, there´s a plethora of shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. that there is no way you will run out of things to do. I have also visited it a few times during a short lay over and it was always worth it.

It’s mesmerising
Singapore certainly know how to give an amazing experience.
From how magnificent the water fall is to the flowers, lights, food, shopping and photo ops, you won’t be disappointed and your children will love the interactive areas and sights and sounds.
Along with all the amazing things you can do in Singapore this is a great addition.

No Stress at this airport. The Jewel is a gigantic circular waterfall feature falling from the sky to below it a spectacular tropical garden in the middle of Singapores magnificent airport not just a feature but a destination day out for shopping locals with every conceivable shop coffee house and restaurant you cold desire. I’ve said it before but the pride Singaporeans have in there country and surrounding is 100% justified. To marks to the governments programme and ability to maintain not just build and forget.

This is the best shopping mall I have ever seen attached to the airport. It is not only a shopping mall but also a leisure and entertainment destination for travellers and others. You can enjoy it while waiting for your flight or waiting for someone to pick up from the airport.
You can store your luggage ( with a fee of around 10 Singapore dollars) per bag, while you enjoy the surroundings in the mall

Janitors and cleaning staffs are extremely rude and foul mouth to customers using the washrooms and facilities! They have the audacity to chastise us for the slightest issue.
They talk loudly amongst themselves and sometimes shouting right across the shopping aisle to communicate with each other without the slightest regards for the shoppers, totally oblivion to our existence!
I definitely don’t recommend this place! There are much nicer malls but this is Not!
Made a complaint with management but is futile. Good Riddance.

Great venue including adventure/flower and plant park, awesome water/music show every evening on the 1/2 hour. Really unique food and stores. So easy to check in and drop off your bags on level one. Don’t miss it!

It is free to see the waterfall at the jewel and definitely worth visiting if you have an hour or so spare at the airport. After checking our bags in it was an easy walk from terminal 3 to 1. The waterfall is turned on from 11AM and it's worth checking it out from all the different levels.

The tour was nicely signposted, which also took a long transfer. Now the tour seems to no longer exist at all. Apparently Changiairport has not made an update. It is very badly arranged after Corona. I am with my mother (87yrs) and have hand luggage. I have arranged for my mother to receive assistance but only to the lounge. My mother is not helped to go to the toilet, the fellow traveler can do that. But how are you going to do that if you also have luggage. my mother needs help on the toilet and her change is in the luggage bag. Assistance has become so bad that I have no words for it. Singapore Airlines has become really bad with their service after Corona. Think Singapore is really going downhill. Definitely not a top airline anymore.

Jewel airport is falsely called an airport. It should be the jewel entertainment centre. One should reach hours earlier, do an early check in and visit Jewel. It's conveniently connected to all terminals. You will be greeted with the water vortex as soon as you enter. Then deposit your hand baggage at level 1 and go to the rooftop level to explore much more which means- hedge maze, mirror maze, net walking, net jumping, canopy walk amidst beautiful floral erects, mist bowls and what not. If u still have appetite for more, indulge in some shopping and dining. It will be time for your flight, leaving you craving for some more... Is the best airport experience
