Lovely river cruise!
We enjoyed our Singapore "Bum Boat" cruise down the beautiful Singapore River. We saw some of the highlights of Singapore from aboard our comfortable boat, and we heard about the Singapore of old, before development took over. The hop on/hop off bus tour was nice, great overview of different parts of Singapore (depending on which line you take). Easy on and off.

Great day out
This is a fantastic place to visit and should be essential stop. Easy to get there from central Singapore by MRT no need for taxi. It’s free to walk around but worth paying for the domes

Left Dissapointed
A waste of time & money. Tour guide was rude, rushed everywhere and allowed littel time to enjoy sights as she constantly babbled on about nothing e.g. China Town is called China Town because its China Town. it was pouring rain.. not companys fault but guide kept tellimg people if you have rain coat just go up stairs and sit down. finally got to river cruise but couldnt take anymore rudeness...... Tried to ask questions about cruised but could not answer she just rushed off. Go with another company.

Waste of money
Very unorganised you get rushed around told when you can and can’t use the bathroom, the bus speakers were obviously very old and you couldn’t hear a thing. We paid an extra $21 each for meal vouchers which only had the value of $5 and we were told we had to go there ourselves another day. To finish the trip we went to hop on the boat and the guide left and told us taxi stands were not far away and just took off in the bus. Do not waste your time and money on this tour!!!

Disorganised.
Fantastic venue but jtptaamd away feeling it was such a shame as it was so disorganised with little info being given by the staff. We originally went on the Friday evening only to realise that even though the park area is open and free to enter until 2am, some of the attractions are not accessible! So we decided to leave it till the Monday evening to give us more time for the visit as a whole. The place is huge. Disappointingly, the Cloud Forest was closed so we headed into the Flower Dome. Great attraction with loads of different species of plants and flowers set in a cooler environment. We then walked through more of the grounds before heading to the Skywalk attraction. There was a massive queue for tickets but as we had already purchased ours, we headed to the other massive queue for the lift to head up to the walkway. We were then told by staff that we needed to get a dedicated time ticket from the Ticket Office! We headed back but there was no way we were queueing, so asked a helpful member of staff near the office if she could help as we had already purchased our entry tickets. She came back with a 7.40pm time ticket so back we went to the attraction. 8.30pm we were finally allowed to join the queue to head up in the lift! The views are stunning and you are politely ushered along whilst taking photos so that each group has around 15 to 20 mins on the walkway, which is plenty of time. A brilliant attraction but just a shame it's so disorganized with a lack of info.

Holiday
Great place with great views of the city and the F1 track. Best way to get there is to walk through the gardens and over the bridge...

Use another service
We always use a hop on/off bus service everywhere we travel. FunVee was offered as part of our hotel stay. The commentary was terrible or non existent. We were dumped off at a shopping centre because the driver had to have his lunch. Wasted 1/2 an hour for bus to return. The orange route busses only run every two hours and if you're in the gardens by the bay after 5.30....you've missed the last bus.

Changed the route- didn’t bother to tell us
We wasted well over two hours in front of Chinatown bus stop then had to walk 1/2 hr to another stop because nobody bothered to tell us that although they dropped us off there, they had changed the route for the day... not notifying customers about changes is so pathetic- we have so little time but wasted hours sitting waiting for a bus that never came! Shame on you Funvee!

A Good Bus Service
We were on the first bus of the day and had the bus to ourselves out to the Botanical Gardens where we got off. We then got on again and went through the rest of the circuit on that line. We were able then to continue and get off at another place that looked interesting, swapping to the other bus line to see more of Singapore. We then used the bus to get out to the Gardens By the Bay and then used the bus again to take us back close to our hotel. The bus was not new, but served its purpose well enough and the commentary was fine. As a way to get your bearings around Singapore and then travel between various areas to visit, it did the job very well and I was happy with the experience on these buses.

Bus Tour ... Yes ....But
We often do bus tours on a ‘Hop On Hop Off’ basis, as a good way to see any city, listen to the commentary and gain a good insight into the layout of a city – you get your bearings and a sense of distance between where various landmarks are. The tour provided this, but the commentary was poor to say the least in fact one would have been better off without it, very spasmodic & extremely difficult to make out what was actually being said – somewhat disappointed on that side but we did at least make use of the transport aspect of it.

TATTY BUSES AND POOR AUDIO QUALITY.
We decided to take a sightseeing bus tour of Singapore to see as much of the city in one go as possible. When the bus turned up it was a very old and tatty and didn't look like it had been cleaned inside or out for quite a while. It was generally very tired. We sat upstairs for the best view and found the seats had chipped paint and the front window was cracked(right hand side on picture) and the paint of the hand rails was very badly chipped. The audio description was very difficult to hear and therefore added little to the journey. We saw a lot of the city during the tour, but ask me would I have booked this service if I knew what it was like beforehand and the answer is categorically no.

Terrible!
I booked a tour on line. The download gave an address to get the bus. I got there and found they had moved. No one knew exactly where. I walked around for an hour looking. No luck! I paid an extra SGD$20 for access to the Marina Sands Observation Deck because they would not accept the downloaded voucher. I will be asking for refund.

Just OK
Decided to take FunVee bus because the Big Bus had several routes and FunVee only had 2 routes (so not having to get on and off the bus to switch routes). Their route system does see most of Singapore (good thing). The negative was the site description was over the loud speaker and difficult to hear (vs earbuds with other bus tours).

Bargain way to see Singapore
On our arrival in Singapore we went to Marina Plaza with the intention of buying tickets with another bus company. We were approached by a man who said we could get a better deal and if we came with him to the tourist office we cold buy tickets. We were a bit wary but went anyway. We then purchased two tickets which were good for the 4 days we were in Singapore for 25 dollars each - bargain. Okay, the buses are a little bit shabby compared to the others but it is a bus which gets you round Singapore. It only has two lines but you get the opportunity to visit all the attractions. (Another company has 6 or 7 lines and you continually have to change buses if you want to get around) We used our first afternoon to ride both lines without getting off as it gave us the opportunity of seeing where we did want to get off and explore. Thank you Mr Hong - it was a pleasure meeting you!
