Culturally Rich Food and History Tour
Rui Heng and Pauline were amazing. They provided great customer service and went above and beyond to make sure that the group had a great experience. Heng was a great guide. Not only did we learn about hawker street food culture, we were treated to other Singapore cultural tidbits. If you are assigned Heng and Pauline as your guides, you will be in for a great experience! P.S. bring an appetite! You will be full by the end of the tour!!

    Great insightful and tasty tour
William and his team were amazing. He was very knowledgeable and his colleagues worked hard to ensure everything was organised before we got to each place. We had a great time. Highly recommend. There's a lot of food so arrive hungry!

    Hawker Center tour trough Chinatown
Very good selection of michelin recommended hawker stalls, with detailed explainations of each dish by the guide. Waiting time is limited, we only had to wait once and got another dish to bridge the waiting time. Beside explainations of the dish itself, many stories and interesting facts about singapore are shared, along with helpful tips. We were at three hawker centers: Hong Lim, Maxwell and Chinatown Complex. Do not eat breakfast before this tour, you will not leave hungry 😉

A great fun and informative tour
Mano was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. We learned a little of the history of this Kampong Gelam the food and culture and interestingly, how ‘social housing’ works in Singapore along with it’s many benefits. We were lucky enough to see a potter at his wheel. We then visited his small shop and showroom and were treated to a little music!

    Don’t miss this tour
Swee Lin was such an amazing guide. So engaging, so funny and such an expert. I can't recommend this food walking tour enough! She was full of great stories about the area’s food, community and culture. The perfect mix of delicious food, hidden gems, and history. If you love food (and fun!), don’t miss this tour.

    Fantastic tour with Linda!
Linda was amazing! Great tour and she spent a lot of time giving us a lot of background of the city, which really helped to understand how these hawker centers came about. Great choice of tours!

    Excellent tour
We took the Chinatown walking tour with Ping as our guide. Ping was very knowledgeable about the area we visited and the culture. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour which lasted two and a half hours and had the opportunity to get a drink and try some local food along the way. I recommend this tour.

    Michelin recommended hawker market tour
William’s passion for food and pride for Singapore was evident throughout his tour. I couldn’t recommend the Michelin food tour with William more highly. It was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. Thank you also Pauline for queuing at the busy stalls so that we didn’t have to.

10/10, would do again.

If you want to make the most of your Saturday night in Singapore, look no further! Bryan is passionate and knowledgeable about the city he grew up in, a bonus that he also has a great sense of humour and takes interest in his guests. The tour was good value and well paced, you get to try foods from all the cultures that exist together in harmony. We felt full by the end so be sure to pace yourself if you want to eat more at Lau Pa Sat after the tour. It ends at about 9.30 so plenty of time to go for a drink after, we decided to nip across to Lantern at Fullerton Bay Hotel for a cocktail overlooking Marina Bay. Can also highly recommend the cheesecake at Butter and Cream Bakery in Lau Pa Sat after the tour. All the stalls in Lau Pa Sat seem to take card, and there's a bank right next to it if not.

Linda was a great tour guide she took us to some local spots and then round the Marina Bay Area which was lovely in the evening all
lit up, she was very knowledgeable and informative, she also went out of her way to make sure we called a can and got in it safely before leaving
Didn’t give 5 stars as the food wasn’t what we were expecting a bit too much bread and an Indian with roti and sauce where as it could have been more authentic , the last stop with chicken satay and noodles was great though, emailed the company beforehand saying my friend was vegetarian but they said they couldn’t cater for that which was surprising given
half the world is such ! we wanted to do the tour anyway for the information on the city luckily Linda was on hand to make sure there was a few things she could have
wanted to do

Enjoyable tour, small group of nice like minded tourists. It starts from Chinese traditional food. The explanation of the use of spices for its healing properties made me appreciate the meal more, and the use of tea to wash the palate. Small cups to enjoy the company of the friends at the table.Second stop was at the Indian dinner, lovely tea, wish it was not sugared. It is not traditional Indian, it’s the fusion of Indian and nostalgic western boys taste. Then nice stroll to digest the carbs, ending at Satay market. My favourite was the Chinese dinner and the discount to the nearby shop with many nice souvenirs. Linda was our guide: Stay close to her, she will ensure you don’t get lost. I wonder if The tour gets many reviews because you are asked to do it straight at the end of the experience .

Our Guide Darius was a very energetic and knowledgable person who gave us a good background on the City. He did a really good Job as our guide. Also I met some other solo traveler’s which was fun.

The food was except for 2 dishes just disappointing, considering the tour costs around 80 Dollars. I have been in Singapur in total for 5 days and can assure you that if you go to any 4+ rated restaurant on google maps which has a two - triple dollar sign, you will get much better and more food for the same price

In total there were 3 guides for 6 people doing the tour (seemed excessive) - it seems that very little of the price you pay goes into the food, which explains the for the price low quality of the food in my opinion. If you are just looking to have a good food experience, I would not recommend this tour.

I had a poor experience (I've emailed the v company but haven't got a response yet). I got lost trying to find the meetup point but texted 2 min after meetup time and tried to call the guide 3 times with no response to the number provided. I eventually walked around and around the food market to try to look for the guide's distictive t-shirt and found them 30 min later. When I asked the guide about why they didn't answer the phone (it was the first notification on his lock screen), there was no apology they just said they put it on silent during the tour. I cannot believe that they wouldn't check their phones at least between stops when they knew they were missing one person! I don't know why the meetup email even provides the number if the guide doesn't bother to check it. And he had an assistant, not sure why they didn't provide her number. The food was nice. They asked us if we wanted beer, and then asked us after for $11, it should have been clearer before ordering as this is pricy. At the bathroom, the guide nearly left behind another guest! We went to the light show, but we missed it because the time had changed for a special event. The rest of the tour was nice enough, but honestly trying to find the group nearly had me in tears as a solo traveller (and missing the first stop, the temple) and the carelessness of not seeing the light show soured the experience. Maybe with a different guide, it would have been OK, but I can't recommend this tour.

We did the Night Hawkers Tour, which was a really fun evening and we would recommend to anyone keen on getting to know the city and its history a bit better in a fun way.

Our tour guide was Richard, who was extremely energetic and funny but also very knowledgeable.

I would say that if you are looking for a food tour, this is not necessarily the one as we only ate at 2 different places and limited types of food (We would have expected more variety given the variety of street food available in one place) and the 2 times we did sit down to eat it felt very rushed. Seeing that it is advertised as a food & nightlife walking tour we would have expected a 50/50 split but it was mostly about the history of the city and key spots and only little about food, which we were disappointed in. Having said this, if this is what you are looking for, it's perfect.

The guide was friendly and on time, we were surprised to hear there were only 3 food stops we had expected several small plate stops. The first stop was ok consisting of a couple of local dishes. Along the way to the 2nd the guide talked about some of the history of Singapore after being asked by one of the guests. The second stop was an Indian cafe which very much catered to the local working Indian community. The place was filthy and we were offered 2 filled sandwiches cut into 10 pieces, a roti and a crisp bread with a curry sauce dip which tasted like curry powder and water stirred together. We did not eat the food as we did not want to get sick. A guest asked the guide about using the toilet but he recommended she did not saying it was very dirty and that he would stop at a hotel for everyone to use the facilities !!! We decided to leave and not go on with the tour, not worth the money and a poor choice of stops.

Wow! This was easily our favorite food tour as our tour guide Ping was able to fit so much information and culture in our tour. She was so lively and engaging to learn about Singapore’s rich history and culture while weaving in her own personal family history which rounded the tour out. She answered all of our many questions and took amazing photos along the way so we truly felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time. The food was all so delicious, and Nat did an amazing job with anticipating our needs in terms of refilling food, organizing each meal and tasting, and generally making sure everyone was well taken care of. We were expecting to eat some good food on this tour and were blown away by the attention to detail and how much fun we had. Highly highly highly recommend to all!! The vibes were immaculate :)

What a fabulous tour! We enjoyed every minute of it.
The communication from Heng our guide was excellent. We arrived in Singapore, got a Singapore sim card and a WhatsApp message and email from him popped up giving us all the information we needed.
He was a warm and cheery guide with a great sense of humour and we particularly enjoyed him sharing his experiences of life growing up in this country. A shout out to the other guide Attiquh, ( I apologize if the spelling is incorrect!) She did a wonderful job of going ahead to eateries and getting the food organized.
We found out so many interesting facts about the city, saw some wonderful sights and tried a range of different foods in different areas of the city. Absolutely brilliant! Loved it. Thanks!!

Linda and Liam are a good tandem for the street food night tour. Linda is very thoughtful and accommodating as well as fierce yet diplomatic particularly when sorting out a misunderstanding between a restaurant staff and Monster Day Tours administration about a table reservation. Linda is very knowledgeable and her love for Singapore shows in her storytelling! Liam is very helpful and efficient in coordinating the reservation.
