- NorthStar5769094815300Excellent tour. Highly recommended.Excellent tour. We sampled lots of different foods and learned lots from our excellent guide Angel. She is highly recommended. This is a must for anyone visiting Singapore. We went to Hawker markets in Chinatown and also visited Little India. Thank you Angel.
- 829galik00Culinary and history in SingaporeAngel lead us to a wonderful Culinary and Cultural wok and stroll at Kampong Gelam. It was such a wonderful experience , she is full charm and knowledge with local Malay food and history, all the 8 of us enjoyed a full day packed of joy 🤩
- taliag38000Amazing experience~!I highly recommend "Wok 'n' Stroll" and our guide Jan for a great food tour experience in Singapore. He took us to some unique and lesser-known spots, shared the history and culture of the city, and introduced us to amazing flavours that we never would have discovered on our own. Jan's knowledge and ability to show us hidden gems made the tour unforgettable. Thanks, Jan, for a great food tour experience! We'll definitely be back for more!
- Ron_Lyster00Unique, delicious, and moreJan (pronounced "yawn") did a great job showing us many delicious, uniquely Singaporean dishes - dishes we would never have known about or tried without his skilled guidance. Jan weaves Singaporean culture and history into the story, and he is more than happy to answer your questions about Singapore (not just about food).
- Andrea D00Delicious and delightfulJan was a delightful guide and we learned about so much more than food! The food was very authentic, and Jan knows where to go to get the very best of local Singaporean fare. I highly recommend this tour.
- Rickmaggie00Top shelfJan was an excellent and informative guide who took us to lots of places to eat a fantastic array of local food.
- hillyjuch00Michelin Streetfood tourMrs Kim Ping is a really good and friendly guid! She took us to several Michelin (star) streetfood places in Singapore! She explains the several food styles and an interesting history talk about Singapore. we recommend Kim!!
- yonuchka00Great Food TourWe had a great time with Angel, our tour guide. Great combination of history, culture, food, and fun. We were so glad we did this food tour!
- Huemul_Suizo00On the road with a chefLionel was not only knowledgeable guide (he is a chef and trains future food guides), but also a warm-hearted and accommodating one. He navigated us through the Little India and Kampong Glam areas, telling many stories, pointing out (and explaining) the street art to us - and, most importantly, introducing us to the rich food universe there. Some of the dishes and drinks were really special ones we wouldn't have tried on our own. A very (full)filling experience. Thank you!
- Aus8500Hawker Food TourismWe had a fantastic street food tour with Ping from Wok N Stroll. Eating absolutely delicious food we learnt about Singapore and it’s amazing Hawke culture from a wonderful guide whilst eating our way through many different stops! Delicious insightful I highly recommend Wok N Stroll’s street food tour!
- lirangrinberg00Fantastic tour, Karni is hilarious, super knowledgeable and food was great! We were a group of six, taking a five hour culinary tour around Singapore. Karni is a phenomenal guide, super funny and energetic, brought us to the best authentic secretive food spots and dishes that the city has to offer. It was also including briefings on Singapore’s culture, history and more. This is by far the best thing you should do in Singapore. We’ve spent 6 days in the city and this was defiantly the highlight!
- Lianagrim00Amazing ExperienceWe chose to have a tour with the wonderful Karni Tomer food explorer, What can i say? It exceeded our expectations, not that we only tasted great food, we have also learned so much about the different cultures and history of Singapore. I most defintely recommend you to book a food tour with "wok and stroll" to learn so much and taste even more , which is a big add when wanting to get more from your trip in Singapore. Waiting for the next tour ill get to do with her when we will be back!
- Donna W00Deep dive into food and cultureMy partner and I make a point of doing a walking tour wherever we holiday, to learn about local culture and this tour did not disappoint. We were met by our guide Rahim and immediately delved into local history as a background to the places and food we were about to experience. He is so passionate and engaging and the culinary knowledge and tips were so interesting. Rahim took the time to understand what we wanted the most from the tour and tailor accordingly, which was easy as there were only the two of us. Delightful company and great food and knowledge made for a terrific experience. Highly recommended!
- cindywE4616SE00Ms WilliamsThis was the best food tour I have ever taken. My guide, Kim Ping, was awesome. She was an expert on the crazy rich asians book, food, and Singapore culture. She was like our friend 5 minutes into the trip. We had so much fun at the hawker center and our guide was so willing to accommodate my daughter being a vegetarian. We enjoyed going to eat a Singapore tradition—chili crab! Then we got to experience the rooftop bar at the Marina Bay Sands. I loved the tour and highly recommend it —ask for tour guide Kim Ping!
- asafshafrir00A great experienceTours are a tricky business, two identical tours can be one a success and the other a bust. It depends on the guide, the knowledge and the attitude. We joined the tour as a couple with a child and it was great. The friendly guide Raheem was knowledgeable, funny and very friendly. The atmosphere was good, lot's of conversations laughs and good food. Highly recommended!

Went on a tour with Rahim which was a surprise birthday present for myself. Rahim was an extremely personable and lovely tour guide who has never ending energy and great knowledge of Singapore. The vegetarian tour went through delights including, but not limited to:
Indian Rojak (Try the flour with coconut, amazing!!!)
Vegetarian Chinese / Japanese
Vegetarian Indonesian
Numerous drinks and snacks
Lots of local fruit
Overall was a great tour with a great guide. I'd definitely recommend it for people who want to try more than just salads but remain vegetarian in Singapore.

Our guide Alfred was charismatic, warm, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. It was just my mum and I on the tour that day and Alfred did his best to completely personalise it to our taste. I wanted to try a fresh coconut water and eat some durian, and thanks to Alfred I did! He completely adapted to our needs and answered questions we had and introduced us to some delicious food. This tour is definitely recommended vegetarian or not!

Enjoying the amazing tastes & smells of Asia (for the 1st time for me!) from sensual drinks to hot spicy dishes, I enjoyed every second from Karni the tour guide that not just show you around but also see what's fits to you and personally explain to you what you find interesting.
So even if you're not a foodie like me you will enjoy learning about Asia food from this gr8 teacher. Have a gr8 time in Singapore! Have a delicious time at "Karni Tomer food explorer" :-)
