#1 of 64 Tours & Activities in Puerto Princesa
- 822ankitb00A Must Do ActivityI had an amazing time on this tour. The underground river and cave system is truly one of a kind, and it was very cool learning all about it. I had Echo as my guide and he made the trip extra fun with his jokes and numerous facts. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Puerto Princesa!
- r0sevaleries00Superb and comfortable!Would rate this travel and tours 10 stars. Accommodation was very good, clean, hospitable, accommodating and customer-focused. Plus points for big-plated complimentary breakfast (hoped there were additional choices in the menu), transfer vans were all new and very conducive for long travels, tied-up parties for the overall tour i.e buffet lunch, snacks, choice and proximity of accommodation to destinations and airport, assigned tour guide (Kuya Roman) was very kind, accommodating and patient. Well-coordinated tour to all destinations in the itinerary, sasakay at bababa nalang talaga literally. Travelled with some elders but overall experience was still superb! Kudos and cheers! Will definitely make this my choice in our next Palawan trip :)
- legally_brunette00A Wonderful Underground River JourneyWe availed of the Underground River Tour and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the company of our tour guide, Mr. Roman Bagaygay. He took really good care of us the whole time, always ready to take our pictures -- and good pictures at that! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 He was also very informative and entertaining because he told us lots of interesting facts and trivia about various things, sometimes not even tour-related, so it really goes to show how far he's willing to go to provide an impeccable service to his guests. We could really feel his sincerity, hospitality and passion as a tour guide and as a person. ❤️❤️❤️ In fact, he did a really good job taking care of our tour companions from Spain, three of whom were injured from an unfortunate ATV accident in Bohol. Mr. Roman went beyond his tour guide duties and was quick to think of ways to attend to their needs as well so as not to add more inconvenience to their situation. We also appreciate the kindness and patience of our driver, Kuya Bel/Del. He was very good at driving and made sure we were comfortable all throughout the van ride. The van we rode was topnotch -- very clean and spacious. Because our Spanish tour companions had plans to do the zip line option of the tour, we decided to avail of the mangrove option to pass time. We enjoyed it as well even though it was a bit hard to hear what the local tour guide (boatman) was saying since he did not have a microphone. However, we still had a nice and peaceful time as we weaved through the river to learn about the mangroves, its importance to the whole ecosystem and the things we can do to help to care for the mangroves. Overall, I would definitely recommend his services as well as the services of this tour agency to our family, friends and acquaintances. 😁 We are utterly grateful to them for the wonderful experience! ❤️❤️❤️
- Vacationer65521100TamilokThis may sound a little strange to you, I requested my own private tour only focusing on Tamilok. It was so much fun to get barefoot into the mangrove and look for wild Tamilok. Their response was quick and smooth when we were planning the trip. The guide and driver were patient and friendly. I'm completely satisfied!
- 199andr_b00Good experience, book all activities! The experience is good. The guide is respectful and do his best to make everyone comfortable. The cave is great! I recommend you to book the other experiences so as not to wait about 2h for the others as there is nothing to do around.
- Bob T00SurprisingDidn't really know what to expect from this tour and was surprised at where we went. Highlight for me was Bakery Hill a theme park out in the middle of nowhere.
- Hatasamadder00Such a Beautiful StayIt was an amazing stay. I would highly recommend that this is the BEST place in terms of its location and hospitality. The service, the food, the pool, the rooms- absolutely everything was amazing for our stay. We would come back to this space in a heartbeat.
- SirHans8900Unique experience and must do when in Palawan! Our guide Chad was super cool. The Underground River was an unique experience and also the Mangrove boat tour was extraordinary! I will definitely visit these magical places again in the future. My highest respect to Lady Mangrove.
- 706seyhang00BEST TOUR FIRM EVER! THANK YOU XANDRA!Thank you so much to Corazon and Xandra! Everything was perfectly organized by her. We took 3 tours from Corazon and we are strongly satisfied. Xandra is very helpful and solution oriented. If I go to there, I will definitely choose this cooperation. Thank you!
- brianjQ432SN00Do not buy from this site, it's a rip offBuy when you get there. The price for tour C is 1400 + your eco fee and there are 5 stops not 3. There are lots of boats and places selling tour when you get there. Buy direct from your hotel. It's a lot cheaper.
- OnAir26173200Puerto Princesa City TourAccommodating staff. Adjusted our tour time as per our arrival even though we are delayed. The tour guide kuya Sho is very well-versed being a tour guide.
- Culture6308074150000The contact, the guide, and the driver were all professional and very accommodating! The contact, the guide, and the driver were all professional and very accommodating! I highly recommend this tour agency.
- michaelhW7182PO00Solid day if not out in the waterUnfortunately due to the tropical storm, my original plan was cancelled, but this was a great second option! The underground river is the real highlight and although quite crowded, is worth seeing at least once. Ziplining was also great! The mangrove forest, meh. The driver and host were phenomenal making the entire day go quite smoothly!
- 13gina00Bad or no communicationDe underground river tour had been postponed for 3 consecutive days due to weather conditions. Apart from that: every single evening we got an automated message that we would be picked up the following morning around 7:00 am. Every time it was us that called the travel agency to inquire whether the tour would be postponed again or not. The third evening the travel agency sent us a personalized message that unlike earlier advice, the tour would push through the following morning since the negative weather advice was retracted. The following morning the driver didn't show up. When we called the travel agency, they told us that they had sent us a message, which we never received. Later, they told us that they had sent a message to another number (???). Communication needs improvement.
- LarsWeijer00Great tour with great guidesThe tour was great, Echo and Joshua helped us a lot and explained everything. We had the luck of a private guide, although we booked a shared tour. They were both really nice and the tour was perfect, even though it rained. I would definitely recommend the tour to everyone coming to Palawan.

Travelling around the Island hasn’t happened for. Few days due to the weather and we struggled massively to book a tour. One text to Arine and all was good. She helped us with everything and at 8pm the day before no less. Arine was the only tour provider to respond to me and she was diligent and helpful.
The next day we we went on the tour it was brilliant. She text us with info in the morning and checked on us in the evening.
This was the only tour we have been on in the phillipines that also asked if we had dietary requirements.

The title says it all !
The worse of what mass tourism has to offer. It reminds me of the bad part of Koh Phi Phi in Thailand.
The only reason I am putting 2 stars instead of 1 star is because the food on the boat was good.
Basically we were sold a 9am to 4pm trip and had a 10am to 3pm trip instead.
Just by waiting for your boat on the beach in the morning you will understand what you step into... There are so many boat queuing that it becomes very sad. Once you reached the spots don't expect it to be quite and gorgeous like on the photos you can see, just add thousands of tourists. Furthermore it's kind of a rushing day: 20 minutes here, 20 minutes there etc. In very average snorkeling spots covered by the orange jackets of non-swimming tourists.
Unfortunately I truly belive it's the same with every companies and all tours (A, B, C D).
if I were you I wouldn't waste my time and money in such a disappointing activity.

Tour is pretty good if you want to enjoy some nice views. Staff was friendly and professional. However you make a lot extra costs which are not named before you go on the tour. You want to go kayaking? Pay extra. Snorkel? Pay extra. All in all I would definitely recommend the tour.

We left quite late and had to make a stop by the coast guard supposedly to check if the boat is all good and there is enough life jacket on board. They seem to have not done either as the boat had an overheating problem on our way to the first island and about half of the passengers didn’t have a life jacket. Eventually another boat tugged us to the first island where they tried to fix the boat we are in. After lunch, we finally transferred to another boat and the trip went smoothly after that despite being behind schedule and ending the tour later than intended.
The food and islands great though!

I enjoyed the beautiful scenery around El Nido--truly amazing!
What I didn't like were all the extra charges that I didn't know I would have to pay on this tour. Activities on the tour included snorkeling but masks are not included--that cost extra. Want to check-out big lagoon? You must take a kayak but that's not included--rent one for additional cost! Environmental fee--that costs extra too!
When I book a tour that advertises certain activities like snorkeling or kayaking I expect that the equipment is included with the tour price. All these extra charges left me feeling scammed by the tour operators.
The crew on my boat were fantastic. They worked hard and did a great job.

Thank you for your feedback although I'm sorry on how you feel about the extra costs but please allow us to address them:
1. On snorkeling equipment - due to the pandemic, we are no longer including this on the inclusions. Most guests would just bring their personal equipment but if you do not have any, you can rent them from the jump off point.
2. Big Lagoon entry fee - Entry to this spot is limited to just 10-15 guests per tour operator, per day. Tickets are issued on a first come, first served basis. As such, we can not include them in the price because there is a possibility that you may not be able to visit it.
3. Kayak rental - same reason why we do not include it as the entry fee to the big lagoon. we do not want to charge for something that you may end up not using at all.
4. Environmental fee - This is a one-time fee that you can use up to 10 days in El Nido. We can not possibly include this in our price because you'll just end up paying for it twice. If you already have it, just show the receipt to our tour coordinator and you will not have to pay for it again.
All these fees were clearly stated as exclusions on this activity - maybe read before booking so there will be no surprises?

Sucu an amazing experience! The Big Lagoon with kayak was especially cool!
Well worth the expense! Highly recommend.
Note: wear/bring plenty of sun screen and don't bring valuables (like a wedding ring) because the water made it slip right off and now it's lost to the sea.

Me and my partner had a wonderful time during our trip. We saw amazing beaches. It was definitely worth it.Crew on the boat was very positive and helpful with tips.
Unfortunately, it was advertised that we will see Big Lagoon, which was not the case as the tour guide explained tickets to Big Lagoon were sold until May.
Also, we nobody mentioned that the ECO tax we paid is valid for 10 days, and we can reuse it in case we go on other trips. Also took us asking a few times until we get any actions regarding these Eco tax ticket.

Hello, my boyfriend and I would like to book a tour for December 1st. How can we arrange for a pick up/surcharge fee from Puerto Princesa? It doesn’t give me an option when I try to book. I was wondering if this is done apart from booking. Thank you!

We booked our tour through our hotel. I think all of the hotel's front desks do this. So if you just call what ever hotel you are staying at I'm sure they will help you. We did have to pay for the trip when we booked it. Cash only. Have fun.
How much is it for a private tour?
Bill W
Valencia City, Philippines38 contributions
Im sorry I do not know the cost of a private tour. I think our cost was 2,500 peso per person from Puerto Princesa. I was told 1,000 of that was for our driver. So the actual tour was 1,500 each. There were 7 us us in our boat.
