BEST TOUR OF INTRAMUROS - Informative, relevant and just the right amount of time
The day started at 11am with breakfast at the Tanlines Lounge. I opted for the continental breakfast, but they also have a choice of Filipino. The food was good and setup nicely. Next, we rode a Jeepney (my first time riding a jeepney!) to Intramuros, the famous walled city of Manila. Thankfully it wasn’t too traffic, as the ride isn’t air conditioned. Dustin, our awesome tour guide made the ride enjoyable by giving us a background on the city before we got there. At Intramuros, we went to the San Agustin Church and Casa Manila - our tour guide was incredibly well informed and explained a lot of how our history has affected and formed how Filipinos are today - it’s a great cultural experience for both foreigners and locals. We ended the tour at Batala bar with craft beers and ice cream. I HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about Philippine history and culture in just an afternoon. Total tour time was just 11am-4pm leaving time for all your other weekend activities.

      Great hike at taal volcano
The tour agency was very organised and accommodated all our needs during the tour. The trail was very challenging so bring a walking stick with you and a lot of water.

Highlight of my trip to Manila
I cannot speak highly enough about this activity. Even from initial booking conversations and organising the activity, speaking with Tanlines was very easy. They were flexible with my limited schedule and went above and beyond to make sure that I could make my dive trip possible. The dive masters at the shop were very professional explaining the plan for the day's dive sites as well as the safety and equipment briefings. The dive sites were unreal. I have gone diving all over the world, but these dive sites were truly something special. The staff both on the boat and back at the shop were so friendly and welcoming and really made the experience one of a kind. I felt safe and respected as a solo female traveler and cannot recommend this company enough. I will definitely be back!

Incredible 1 day get away from busy Manila!
The trip was amazing beginning to end with the TanLines team providing excellent customer service end-to-end; from a smooth booking process to top transportation to the Anilao, a great breakfast and local lunch, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The dives were beutiful and cool (w a wreck and a sort of underwater museum!). Overall a great way to escape busy Manila and have an amazing day in nature

Highly Recommended! Lovely Guide and Delightful Experience
We were so happy with the tour conducted by Tanlines that we decided to do another one the next day. Did not disappoint at all. Tour includes breakfast and transport. Try the delicious Filipino breakfast. Guide (Kristel), was amazing! Very hospitable, always ensuring the best for us, and looking out for us. Brought us to 3 different markets. 1) Handicraft market. Where you can buy souvenirs or locally made handicrafts for really affordable prices. 2) Wet market. We experienced the local wet market, bought some seafood and vegetables and brought it to the stall to be cooked fresh! Amazing experience. Delicious food. Must try. 3) Goods market. Huge local market with so many different things sold. Fake goods, Electronics, Handicrafts and Jewelry(especially pearls). Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly Recommended.

      Diving in Anilao
Very friendly and accommodating. Kristel was trying her best to make the best day out of it, even if visibility and dive spots were limited due to weather conditions. Would recommend this company definitely and go to Anilao again if I get the chance!

Best travel service to Masungi Georeserve
My boyfriend and I booked to get to Masungi Georeserve via Tanlines. At first, Aubrey kindly suggested for us to join a bigger group at another date. Unfortunately, we had plans on those suggested dates, so we kept to our original date. On the day of the tour, we had a good breakfast on their terrace and we were taken to Masungi on a comfortable van. Tanlines also asked the ranger at Masungi to take photos of us on the climb, so we didn't have to take out our own cameras at each stop. After the climb, we were given refreshments and took us back to the city. Overall, Tanlines provided more than just transportation. Their customer service was awesome!

      Great convenient service
Visiting Masungi is nearly impossible of you do not have a large group. In comes Tanlines to facilitate and transport visitors from Makati and back. Aubrey, our Tan Lines guide helpfully answered our questions before our briefing at Masungi. Walking through nature and making new friends while riding in a comfortable, safe van there and back made for a stress free experience.

      A very customer focused company.
Tanlines arranged Masungi tour for us and it was a unique experience. Started with a delicious breakfast, followed by a briefing. Quality of service was above average. Kristel from Tanlines went over above in making the trip memorable. Highly recommended!

Do not purchase! Tanlines Philippines does not exist. Just like the man who purchase for the Sunday before me I showed up (2/26/23) at the address and found the building lock up as tight as a drum. There is a Subway sandwich shop there but nothing else. I waited at the front of the building from 15 minutes early until 15 minutes after 7am and no one arrived. Now how do I get my money returned?

We arrived at the meeting point on time and waited for half an hour but no one showed up. We tried to contact the company without success and kept waiting until the owner of the building told us that the company had moved from the building a year ago. We're now hoping to get a full refund since after that we left and did not go on the tour.

We arrived at the meeting point on time and waited and no one showed up. We tried to contact the company without success... We were told by the local shop owner they haven't been there for over a year. It appears they have shut down due to the pandemic.

Why is this even advertised? I purchased the trip, showed up at the appointed date, time and place, and nobody showed up to pick me up. They have not had an office in this building or on the roofdeck for 2 years. I don't understand why they keep advertising this event on Tripadvisor.

I highly recommend this tour. The tour provides relief from the congestion of Manila. The air is fresh. The scenery is breathtaking. And the challenge is empowering. An amazing day in a rain forest. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable. I felt safe at all times. The tour is professional and top-of-the-line. Overall value is outstanding. You will not be disappointed if you take this tour. The breakfast and server are wonderful. The driver is efficient and highly qualified. I could not have asked for anything more. The experience is one seldom found and your social media followers will be jealous of the photos for sure. Definitely above-and-beyond. Definitely a must-do. I don't want to post photos that will spoil the experience for you. It is beautiful and a rare sight to behold.

We were supposed to go to Taal volcano day trip. Was cancelled due to seismic activities reported.

Tanlines recommended us Masungi Georeserve tour.

    Did not disappoint at all.

Tour includes breakfast, light lunch and transport to and from the georeserve.

Aubrey was very very helpful with everything, very hospitable and always ensuring that we are comfortable.

The tour itself was amazing. Total 3 hours hike. We had an internal tour guide in the georeserve, Jacky. Wonderful guide, full of knowledge. Hike includes rope climbs and easy terrain hiking, with absolutely stunning views. Ended the tour with a light sandwich for lunch.

As it was a really hot day, Aubrey got us fresh coconuts for the trip back to Manila.
    Very thoughtful.

Highly recommended. One of the best tour experience i ever had.

This is so much more than just trekking. There are rope courses/activities throughout the trail which makes it interesting and enjoyable. Beautiful place to visit and very instaworthy. Small groups so you are able to go at your own pace. Furtheremore, since you contributed, you get to go back 10 years later to see the tree you planted. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! Indeed, Masungi is so much more than trekking. The rope courses are an integral part so you are able to go around the georeserve and come up close with its karst terrain. I hope you learned a lot from the park rangers too! Thanks for choosing to hop on with us to visit and help Masungi with their conservation efforts. Happy travels to you!

My friends and I have always dreamed of going to Masungi Georeserve, but transportation and the minimum number required to make a reservation at Masungi was always an obstacle for us.

Thanks to Tanlines, we didn't have to worry about those anymore! The service was awesome and Masungi definitely did not disappoint. Would book through Tanlines PH again in the future for more travels around the country.
