Driver was unprofessional, got lost on his way there and made unnecessary stops on way back. Tour Guide was amazing. Extremely accommodating to everyone. Please wear shoes with good grip. Very steep and very slippery inclines and declines. Do not wear flat shoes. The peak is Spectacular. Makes the hike worth it.

We had such a wonderful time on this tour. The early start was definitely worth it! Our guide Ketut was very patient while we were trekking up the volcano, he also took some amazing pictures of us when we got to the top. Our drivers Widi & Mku were also very helpful and told us some interesting facts about Bali on our drive.

This was by far the best experience we've had! We highly recommend these guys. They bent over backwards to meet our needs . It was the best day ever!

Our driver was called Willy, he picked us up at 1:30am and we had a sleep in the car until we got to the fott of the volcano. We started the trek up the mountain at 4am. We were in a group of 4 and our guide was Ketut, he was brilliant! He helped one of the girls and held her hand all the way up as she struggled. It is a diffcult walk so for someone who isn't physically fit I wouldn't recommend. It was so worth the sore legs once we got to the top....the views and sunrise were just unreal. Ketut made us a lovely breakfast with sandwiches, fruit and a chcolate bar which was included in the price but you just had to pay for your own tea/coffee. It's extremely cold at the top so bring a warm hoody and wear long pants. Ketut was our personal photographer, he took the most amazing pictures of us during our hike - I'd highly recommend him to anyone! After the trek we went to the hot springs for a couple of hours to relax, which was perfect after such an early morning - so don't forget your bikini and also a change of clothes and shoes because you get filthy on the volcano walk. We then also stopped at a coffee plantation after this, we didn't stay too long here as we were shattered but it was good to taste all the different types of coffee. This is a long day 12 hour day so definitely don't go out the night before!

We booked a tour named “stay around the volcano” which normally means that you have to stay in the area of the Vulcan I to pretend for a morning pickup but we didn’t see that and we were staying in Ubud. We contacted the WhatsApp number the day before and they kindly arranged a taxi to come to pick us in Ubud for a fair price. At the drop off point close to the volcano we got a lovely guide named Ketut, he was very kind and full of great tips concerning the volcano. If you have a member of your group that is not used to hike, he will adjust the pace and even carry this person by the hand in tricky moment. Finally he has a real talent for photography and will make the best pictures of you during the sunrise. Our trek up Mount Batur was awesome awesome! Our guide Katut was very helpful and friendly. He made us a yummy breakfast and took some nice photos. Would definitely recommend!

Our local guide Katut was a huge help taking us up the volcano. He was so nice to us going up and down, always watching out for us. He also gave us blankets and warm drinks along with breakfast. Really great local guide!

We went as a couple and had a great time. Both our driver, Mangun, and our guide Katut were exceptional. Highly recommend to those looking for a solid hike up the volcano. The after hike hot springs and massage are a great addition and really help to relax after the active morning.

Amazing experience, would highly recommend! We were picked up by Mangun, he was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. He was also very helpful in giving us advice on where is best to visit. We then met Ketut (our tour guide) he provided us with a safe journey up the volcano and looked after us the whole time we were up there. He was fanatic and possibly the best photographer there is.

It was a very nice trip, also adventurous. Our guide did very well and was very pleasant. Our guide was called Karma. If you have a choice in which guide you want, we definitely recommend Karma.

We had a very nice morning, we were picked up on time at our hotel. Then we were assigned to a guide, his name was karma. The guide was really great! He helped us well during the trip and adapted to us. When we were at the top we were given a breakfast made by the guide. An experience not to be forgotten, especially through karma!
