After pickup from your hotel in Ubud, meet your guide and get familiar with your electric bike. Cycle effortlessly along the narrow Sok Wayah path, past beautiful cottages and scenic rice fields, including the celebrated Tegalalang Rice Terrace. Enjoy plenty of photo stops along the way and visit a traditional Balinese home. As you travel, your guide introduces you to Bali’s ancient culture: its unique religion, the “subak” system that governs its rice fields, and traditional ways of life. After your tour, enjoy a meal on the terrace of the operator’s shop before your driver drops you back to your hotel.

Best way to see Ubud and spend a fun afternoon learning the Balinese culture and seeing the sites.

If you want to see more of Ubud or are new to Ubud, this tour is a great place to start. It’s easy to book, great communication.
Once you collect the bike you are ready to ride- the electric motor makes it a joy while and is much easier than a normal bike. It also allows you to take in the sites.
We had Wayan as our guide. He was fabulous giving all the insights if Ubud and Balinese traditions as well as many photos through rice fields, streets and the best viewing of the jungle. Would totally recommend to do this. So add it to the list!!!!

Fantastic Tour Must do!
We arranged this from our hotel and everything was very well organised from the collection to the tour itself. Wayan our guide was brilliant and took the time to ensure everyone was safe and to explain everything as we went… I don’t think it mentions it on the blurb but you do have the opportunity to have photos on a swing at the coffee plantation which was great fun. The rice field are a view not to be missed and this is a great way to see them. We would definitely do it again and recommend to anyone. There are 3 things to mention although this does not detract from the tour being 5* all the way… lunch was not included although we knew this before we went. We were told we could pay by card by our hotel but it was cash when we finished. And the bikes could benefit from some maintenance and care as my seat slipped a couple of times and the gears also slipped… the electric worked perfectly though… go do it!

Best bike tour I’ve done in Bali

Spectacular tour and the highlight of my Bali trip. The guides were very informative and patient as we took our time asking questions. We felt very safe and looked after with guides both at the front and back of the group as well as a support vehicle helping us navigate through areas of greater traffic . I have done other bike tours in my previous visits but this was by far the best. The e-bikes allowed people of all skill levels to enjoy the landscape heading North of Ubud and take in the stunning scenery. Thank you!

Great tour with Wayan

February 2020, just the 2 of us did a half day tour with Wayan. After instruction on how to ride the bike using the motor we headed off. I was a bit worried about dealing with traffic and the bike but Wayan was great he ensured that the traffic was aware of us and never did I have to worry about the traffic.
Wayan took us as the tour itinerary stated to temples, living compound, rice terraces & paddies.
Whilst his english wasn't the best we understood him and learnt a lot about the Bali culture and lifestyle.
Highly recommend this tour with Wayan.
Lunch back at the start at a little restaurant was lovely.
Thanks for a great time Wayan.

Great tour and guide: Ketut!
We’ve had a great day on the E-bike and that was mostly because of our guide: Ketut! We were lucky, because we were with the two of us. It was our first time on the road in Bali, but we felt save behind Ketut. We saw some great places like the rice terraces and coffee plantage. He choose the less busy spots, what was great. We had time to stop and look around. He knew a lot information about the places we visited. We highly recommend this E-bike tour and give all the credits to Ketut. Thanks again!

Wonderful bike tour of the Ubud area

Our guide, Wayan, took us to some interesting places including a school, temple, Balinese house, rice fields and the Rice Terrace. We skipped the coffee plantation as we had already seen that on another tour. The Ebikes made the short but steep hills easy. Most of the ride was on paths or quiet roads but when we had to use or cross busy roads Wayan made sure it was easy and safe. At the end we had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

We learned so much on this bike tour. The bikes were very easy to use. Any time our legs started burning, we could just give it a little push and ZOOM! It rained during the ride and didn’t phase us at all. So beautiful! And such a great guide!

Wonderful tour! Our hotel was a bit out of Ubud centre but a pickup wasn’t a problem at all. A very friendly man called Wayan was our tour guide for the day. As he is originally from Bali he knows everything about the culture and Balinese rituals, very interesting! We biked to the most wonderful places in Ubud, and there is more than enough time to take pictures and enjoy the views. His English was also very well. I would definitely recommend this trip with Wayan!

Truly amazing!

I arrived in Ubud and I wanted to have great bike experience. Thanks to this trip I could see almost everything in Ubud in a relaxed way. All credits go to my great guide Komang! He is a local and he explained so much about the culture. He took a lot of great pictures during the tour and at the end we had a delicious local lunch!

If you want to see Ubud in 3 hours time (and not only the tourist places), you should book this trip!

Highlights are definitely the rice fields and the coffee farm!

I can’t recommend this enough! Such a fun way to see Ubud, in case you want to be active, but not so much lol. You see beautiful scenery on the outskirts of Ubud, and learn a lot. Our guide Ketut was beyond amazing, he was so helpful, attentive, informative, and fun! A must do while in Ubud, and make sure to ask for Ketut :)
