We did this quick tour of Nanjing as a day trip from Shanghai. Sunny was very easy to communicate with, open to accommodating our train schedules and discussing customized trip plan as well as squeezing in as many sights as humanly possible within the short time frame. The guide assigned to us (Emily) was very knowledgeable of the city and history, also very patient with our family. By the way, just to set some expectations: the trip was advertised as 7-8 hours with 5 spots, but I would actually suggest at least 9 hours to really cover all of them. Nevertheless, we miraculously did all 5 in a little less than 9 hours and still made our train back to Shanghai! It was definitely quite fast-paced, but we enjoyed it. Local lunch was delicious. The van was clean and comfortable. Thanks again, Sunny and Emily (and Mr Driver, sorry forgot your name)!

Emily is a wonderful guide - expert, personable, flexible, relatable. With her help we not only efficiently experienced the main sights but also booked Nanjing museum tickets and tasted a Nanjing lunch full of duck delicacies. Thank you again, Emily!

We had an incredible experience in Nanjing thanks to our guide, Fred. His deep knowledge of Chinese history brought every site to life, and his passion for the city made the tour truly memorable. We started at Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, where Fred detailed the life of this pivotal figure in modern Chinese history. At the Xiaoling Tomb, Fred explained the cultural and historical significance of the Ming Dynasty architecture. Next we toured the Purple Mountain Observatory, where we saw ancient and modern astronomy instruments. Plus there were great views of the city and the mountains! We then visited the City Wall of Nanjing and it was breathtaking. Fred also guided us through the charming streets of Loamendong, sharing insights about local life and architecture. Our visit to the Nanjing Confucius Temple and Fuzimiao district was equally impressive, with Fred explaining Confucian principles and the vibrant history of the area. Fred’s ability to blend history, culture, and fun made this one of the most enriching tours we’ve taken. Whether you're a history buff or just curious about Nanjing, Fred is the perfect guide. Highly recommended!

Sunny organised a lovely tour for us. Lillian the guide we had for the day was brilliant. She spoke clear English and was very knowledgeable of the sights we visited. She was waiting for us in the foyer way before our meeting time and took us back to the hotel at the end of the day where she went out of her way to find a good local restaurant for us. Lillian’s knowledge of the sights was an advantage as we did not really know much of the history. She managed to get us into the mausoleum which was fully booked. I definitely would recommend using Sunny and Lillian for a Nanjing tour.

Nanjing is really a beautiful city, and this tour showed that and more. The tour guide John was kind and explained very well the history of the sites I was visiting , and answered so well all my questions. He is fluent English speaker. This tour was really worth it and I am happy to have booked it.

Took this tour solo and it was great. John was a friendly and knowledgeable guide, clearly experienced and professional. He definitely enhanced my experience of the four scenic sites we visited. Lunch at a local Chinese restaurant did not disappoint. Glad I booked the tour, highly recommended.

Fred our tour guide was absolutely the best. Not only was he knowledgeable about the sites we visited - the Dr Sun Yat Sen and the Ming Xiao Ling Mausoleums - but he was also able to make the corresponding history of both eras interesting to my teenage children. Definitely the guide I would request the next time we go to Nanjing!

Our tour guide, Emily, was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and provided the historical perspective, which enhanced our experience. We enjoyed all aspects of the tour, and really appreciated our driver’s skill in navigating the heavy Nanjing traffic, particularly in the Purple Mountain area. The Nanjing Massacre Memorial was a sobering reminder of man’s inhumanity, but with hope present, too, in those that helped the refugees during that terrible time and those telling the story now so no one will forget. We did run short on time, but Emily still was able to provide us with the opportunity to visit the Nanjing City Wall to view it and hear about its history. Much appreciated. Would highly recommend this tour!!

My tour guide George is a hero! H-E-R-O. It was a long day, full of great conversations and historical insight. Despite the long day, George was just as enthusiastic and full of friendliness from beginning to end, with amazing knowledge of the city. I couldn't have any more nice things to say about him. Both Sunny and George went out of their way to be accommodating and flexible with my itinerary. I highly recommend this service if you're looking for an insightful trip to Nanjing.

We booked this tour and our tour guide Ava was wonderfull, she knows all about chinas history, speaks very well english and organised tickets beforehand. Nanjing is a nice city and with this tour guide it is easy to go around.

Ava my guide was fantastic. Friendly, informative and funny. I had a bespoke tour after being picked up from the station. I was taken to every site I had requested and given free time to wander the shopping street and museum. I traveled to Nanjing alone and couldn’t have wished for a better companion to take me on my two day tour. Sunny checked in regularly to make sure all was well and the driver had brilliant local knowledge in order to miss the worst of the traffic during the tomb sweeping festival weekend. I highly recommend this tour and hope you have a great time in beautiful Nanjing!!

I had an amazing and comprehensive tour of the highlights of Nanjing with Ava. I learnt so much about the city and about the history of Nanjing. Booking the tour was great because the customer service before, during and after the tour made me extremely impressed.
