    View from the Peak
The building serves as an observation tower overlooking the skyscrapers of Hong Kong. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops available here but before that head to the top to catch the view. Beside this building is the Peak Galera where you can find more shops and restaurants.

    Great place for young children
This place is not cheap but its quite boring and small. The tour guide is nice and helpful but overall it was just not meant for us. May be if we are with little children, it will be a great experience for the children but for adult and teenagers, it was not. The location is great because it is in one area as stop point of Victoria Peak. There are a lot of restaurant and a lot of nice selfie spot.

    Disney 100 yrs
Disney 100 yrs Show was over priced, orchestra was very good, however the over all production lacked atmosphere. Only one outstanding female singer, others very average. Would not recommend this show. I thought overall the audience were left disappointed.

    Long stressful queue
With the recent reopening of Macau and Hong Kong to international tourists, there was a long queue for ferry tickets to Macau. Unlike pre Covid, there are limited ferry schedules both ways and we could only get the 3pm ferry ticket to Macau although we were at the counter before 12 noon, on a working Thursday. The ferry was packed. It was a stressful long queue and uncomfortable packed ferry ride.

One hour waiting for Jacket potato
We love to go for a short trip to Heathfield & we discovered co-op has a lovely cafe attached to the store. After shopping we usually go for a coffee & a jacket potato for lunch, it was very reasonable & good service. Unfortunately lately we went to the cafe & ordered a jacket potato but was told it take an hour to cook it but it was on the menu & it was lunch time around 12.30. We went away to look around the shops & went back. The staff told us she had not put the cooker on , so we were rather upset & angry . Yesterday we thought we would tried the cafe one more time as previous experience was unexpected but might have happened as there were staff shortage, unfortunately the staff once again said it will take an hour to cook but said she can microwave it but skin would not be crispy. We were really disappointed why the jacket potato not cooked before lunch time? If they only cook them when someone comes in & asked for it, then jacket potato should not be on the menu. It happened twice , I wonder if the manager of the store knows about it. It will put off customers comes in if it’s how it runs . I have never come across to wait for food over an hour , is it the staff been told not to cook it until someone wants it, then the menu should state order potato an hour earlier prior coming in the cafe . I would like an answer from the management of co-op cafe to give me an reasonable explanation if they can. Thank you

    Wonderful childhood memories
The best aquarium, fantastic cable car. We enjoyed the lumps of sugar cane in about 1977. Such a good memory of childhood in Hong Kong

    Bed experience!
Boring, poor, expensive and no prepared staff. We didn't like everything. At the final step, the no prepared staff didn't explain well the coupon changing rules.

    WaterWorld - splashing family fun!
It was a staycation in HK. Quarantines to return to HK is currently 3 weeks - who wants to do that ?! We stayed at Marriott Ocean Park and enjoyed the Ocean Park & Water World Park - the latter is a new addition within Ocean Park! A day spent at the WW park with teens was worth it before the weather got any colder. We rented a Jumbo locker and a Cabana (which allowed my husband and I to take a breather whilst the kids ran amok in the theme park). The WWPark is mainly indoors to cater for winter/blustery days. We still recommend wearing a rash. We also recommend booking your tickets early along with a locker. If you do rent a cabana you won’t need to rent a locker as each cabana comes with a large safe, two deck chairs with comfy cushions. The cabana seats 2 v comfortably and 4 if they want to sit outside for the view. The view was breathtaking from the mountain side of the ocean. Bring mosquito repellant as I was feasted on quite badly! There are also VIP cabanas on a higher level (3rd flr vs 2nd). But at this time of the year there was nobody around us. The lockers come in 3 sizes at various prices. We booked the Jumbo which took a lot of stuff (dimensions available when you book). You can of course decide on which size when you enter the locker room and everything is payable with Octopus or credit card. You can access the locker several times with no additional charge. We also recommend the Fast pass/Splash Pass if you have teens. They can visit rides they like, countless times over. My 15-year old went on the Rainbow Rush to race at least 20 times and was v happy with his timing of 8:43 secs! The WW park has rides for adults and kids (big and small). For the brave you cannot miss the Daredevil Drop. And the younger toddlers should be delighted by the Whiskers Splash. Family rides with 4-6 seater floaters on Skyhigh Falls and Vortex were great to do together. The water was cold this time of the year at Horizon Cove and Big Wave Bay so we skipped it. Covid19 rules still apply so keep your masks on till you do the ride. Use a cloth mask as it won’t disintegrate so quickly and keep them in shorts with zip pockets or stuff it in your bikini when riding. As for your feet, try and get wet shoes. Slippers have to be removed and I stuffed mine under my rash as I did the rides. Still risky as I could still have lost them during the rides. Hence carry as little as possible! There is NO where to hold your things (including spectacles/glasses) whilst you ride as you only slide downwards and don’t return to the same spot! Not all rides have lockers nearby. I only saw a few at the Lazy Cruise. My husband and I ended the day on the Lazy Cruise. The water was warm and far more enjoyable. We left on return tickets on the bus which took us back to the entrance of Ocean Park/MTR. It’s not free but necessary and returns every 10 mins. A new Fullerton hotel is being built with gorgeous views and a skip away from WWPark. It should be ready for next summer! The WW park is A definite must-do for the family.

Marvellous stay at Ocean Park Hong Kong
The service at the reception counter provided by Marco and Duncan was top rated! Thanks for the hospitality! The game booths, swimming pool and motor trail provided for kids are great fun. Suitable for family with small kids and it’s also pet friendly👍🏻

    Desperate about Hong Kong Disneyland
suspect my wife and I are being discriminated somewhat by HK Disneyland. Haven’t received complements to members which we supposed to have. Hotline staff was unprofessional. I asked the same question but was answered differently for each call. The same for the last stay at Disneyland hotel back in June 2021. Seems unreal but true, one of the places in Hong Kong that has brought us happiness, has gone. Felt desperate about Hong Kong Disneyland. Planning to cancel all subsequent Hotel and restaurants reservations. Totally disappointed!

    Not good
Overall Hong Kong disneyland is fun... but it is not enough magical!.... I like the ride 'It's a small world' the best & 'Iron man' & mickey 4D show.... but at the 4D show of mickey... the glasses were broken.... so disappointing! It was very disappointing that the parade didn't happen in the streets.... and the fireworks 🎆 didn't happen as usual... the prices of food and souvenirs are highly priced! and the ticket to hk disneyland is too expensive and not worth it! I would be more satisfied if the tickets to disneyland would be at least 300 or 400 hkd!.... there are too much people! every ride to go in takes a lot of time! exept 'it's a small world' I have been to hk disneyland for about 10 times... but this time wasn't what I was expecting it to be... it was so hot as usual.... disneyland is very hot than any other place in hong kong!

    Poor value
We were given this as a present. Certainly glad we didn’t pay £100 each for 5 hours. Restaurant food was ordinary, Mumm champagne no better than Prosecco, unfriendly massage, poor cakes, no craft beer. WiFi was good and seats comfortable. Staff were mainly good.

Quite alot of people queuing up to buy tickets when I went in May. It is highly recommended you buy the e-tickets online on Trip.com. They are not only more convinient but are cheaper than the ticket counters. Return tickets are valid within 30 days from the day you catch the train. FYI theres no ticket demand at the airport only at other stations, that is where you scan the eticket QR code.

We had an eight hour lay over in Hong Kong and despite news of protests, we chose to leave the airport. We used the airport express. Tickets can be bought on the airport and is less than R150 per person to Hong Kong centre. From Hong Kong centre we took the star ferry. This is under R50 return. You need to purchase tokens. So make sure you have hong kong dollars available. Overall, hong kong is pretty built up and lots of high end stores to see. It was an interesting experience, at least we got to see a little bit of Hong Kong.

After a long flight, the last thing you need is the hassle of airport transfers. The Airport Express takes care of that. A short walk from the arrival hall and you can board a comfortable train fro the trip into the city. Another bonus is the connecting shuttles. If you are lucky enough to be staying at one of the hotel stops on the routes, you can then catch a small bus which drops you off at the foyer of your hotel. Great value

We received our vouchers by text but with no instructions on how or where to redeem. We proceeded to Kowloon Station MRT Station and the gate agent had never seen nor heard of these vouchers. We had a bar code to scan but a QR code was necessary. We ended up buying tickets for less at customer service. The voucher stated no refunds so this seems like a scam to me. DO NOT BUY.

I always used the train whenever I visited Hong Kong, going from the airport to the central station (it is economical to buy a return ticket). The train is clean and the seats are comfortable, plenty of spaces for the luggages. Free wi-fi is also available.

Very convenient and saved a few $ by purchasing here.

Just make sure you buy the tickets at least a day before so you get the barcode emailed to you.

You need to scan in at the airport, you need to scan the barcode at you destination.

The airport express service is very good. The boarding platform at the airport is easy to find. Because of the protests, the Tsing Yi and Kowloon stations were not always open, but service to Hong Kong station was always open and available. The trains are very clean and fast; the best way to go to the city from the airport.
