Stephanie was a polite, patience and highly knowledgeable tour guide. She made the experience educational and highly enjoyable in learning Hong Kong’s historical scenery. Stephanie explained everything from the simple MTR subway through the subway stations to the magnificent ride and view from the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. Stephanie expertly maneuvered through Ngnong Ping Village, Divine Generals Alley, Po Lin Buddhist Monastery, Ten Thousand Buddha Grand Hall and Tai O Fishing Village and provided great insight and valued historical data for each of these great Hong Kong landmarks. We also shared an amazing lunch at an local village restaurant. I wanted to take advantage of the long layover but was skeptical about it given my pregnancy. Serendipity led me to Alexandra. Not only did she customize the trip to suit my needs but also guided me on every step including PAR. She was knowledgeable about every aspect of HKG including history from eras, short cuts to get to places, and made the trip very interesting and informative. This tour was the highlight of our trip! As first-time visitors from the U.S., we didn’t know the first place to start in planning our sightseeing. Our guide Alexandra took care of all of that and brought us all around on a comprehensive tour. Enjoyed it so much that we would come back to Hong Kong in a heartbeat, and after this tour, we feel totally comfortable navigating around on our own.

Alexandra gave us a wonderful tour of Hong Kong and shared her extensive knowledge of the city and the customs. She showed us how people worshiped at the Man Mo Temple. Taking the subway, buses and vernacular to the Peak was a great way to see how people traveled in the city.

Stephanie provided us with a wonderful day! We had booked the full day Lantau Island tour but at the last minute a typhoon intervened. Stephanie took us on a lovely walking tour of parts of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island introducing us to things we'd never have otherwise known about. Her pace was comfortable and her knowledge impressive. Best of all, it was just the four of us so we didn't feel like we were being herded in a crowd. From the first moment Stéphanie's tour was absolutely fascinating. Her wealth of knowledge of Hong Kong's history and culture, not to mention its place in the contemporary world, was detailed and superb and brought a rich texture to our experience. Mr Chen is a first rate tour guide. His ease of sharing the history and background of the location was delightful. I was traveling for business and was happy to be able to take advantage of seeing this gem. It was well worth the time. I would recommend this to anyone interested in visiting the Big Buddha, seeing the magnificent temple, and experiencing the history of the 500 year Tai O village. If you get lucky as I did, you may even spot the rare pink dolphins during your boat ride (which does require an additional nominal fee from a local boat service). I plan to return again with my family for this same tour once again!
