Excellent tour - highly recommend
I did the tour on 14 March with Michael as a tour guide - I have been in HK for 2 months now so although kind of know my way around, I found this tour but very enjoyable and insightful taking me to places I hadn’t seen or noticed! Very knowledgeable tour guide with lots of insight - would highly recommend, best of luck Michael in these challenging times

Brilliant tour
Jan 2020
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour of the goldfish , flower and bird markets as well as examples of typical homes of the poorer families. Armie was interesting and very knowledgeable. We saw parts of Kowloon that we wouldn’t have visited without a guide to show us around.

Really loved this tour and the wealth of knowledge that was our guide S.P. We came away with a real appreciation of Hong Kong and got to know the city from the perspective of a local. If you want to see more than just the usual tourist locations, this tour is for you.

Great eye-opening tour
My wife and I were amazed by the insight provided by Terry about the housing struggles of locals. We were planning on going to Dragon's Back that day then we changed plans last minute. Totally worth it.

See the other side of the glamorous Hong Kong
Dec 2019
I'm a local myself however SP, the tour guide was still able to surprise me with his comprehensive knowledge about the housing issues in Hong Kong. He did a good job in showing visitors the different side of Hong Kong, explained indirectly why the society is currently under through some movements and frustrations. The walking tour started at Mongkok and ended at Sham Shui Po. I was impressed that the organisation actually invested in one of the sub-divided flats just to give visitors a better idea of what he is talking about. Thank you so much for investing your time on the issue.

The most important tour
Dec 2019
Recommended to me last minute by a relative mid-stay in Hong Kong -- this is now an essential part of my first experience of the city. The tour was taken by Armie, who helped create an experience that was, in equal measures, informative and personal. Within the space of three hours, my perception of the city had changed. The group was exposed to the hidden reality of thousands of people, living in the city day to day. While at times the facts got very heavy, Armie's love for the city was always evident. The emphasis of the tour was on Hong Kong, but conversation was encouraged regarding each individual's experiences of home. By the end, there was definitely some kind of bond that wasn't there at the beginning. All of this included, and apparently for zero fee... I would recommend this to anyone.
