          Hong Kong visit with Ray
We had a great visit with Ray who taught us so much. From food, to history, to modern life in Hong Kong, we had such a good time! Loved the double decker trams, coffee that was half tea, dim sum, markets, urban living and Hong Kong’s contrasts. Ying and Yang as we learned.

          Private tour
Rich Dias put together a great day tour of Hong Kong - we covered a lot of ground in 1 day. I thought the day was very thoughtfully put together from start to finish (9-3 pm). We hit all the major sites I wanted to see which mainly included Victoria’s peak, dim sum, egg tarts, but we also saw penninsula hotel, took every mode of public transportation (Mta, double decker bus, star ferry, taxi), Wong tai sin temple and learned a lot about Hong Kong’s history and culture. I personally found the talk about feng shui to be very interesting. I really don’t think we would have covered 1/2 the amount of attractions without Rich’s guidance with transportation - he saved us tons of time avoiding the tram on the way up (we still took it on the way down) and navigating the subways like a pro. Appreciate all the help and great attitude - he clearly enjoys what he does!

          The best
Nikki was one of the best guides Jeanie and I ever had she was comprehensive knowledgeable and very engaging. She took what we wanted to do and incorporated into 8 hours of meaningful touring how good she was became very apparent the next day when we took a group tour that was simply unremarkable. Fortunately Nikki’s information the previous day was so good it made up for the lack on information we received the next day. Thanks for what you did. Jeanie and I will always have great memories

Superb Walking Tour - Would Highly Recommend This
Katie took us on an 8 hour walking tour of Hong Kong which was excellent, both in terms of the places we visited but also the knowledge and stories she used to bring them to life. First stop from the Hotel was the Peak, where we walked along Lugard Road to a stunning viewing point, to fully appreciate the famous Peak view. We then walked through the grounds of St Johns Cathedral where we were informed of how it was used by the Japanese in WWII, and of the one lone grave in the church grounds. We then walked through the HSBC grounds and learned about the Japanese stealing the Lion statues and their return, also about the reclaimed land in this area. We then visited the Admirality area and travelled to Sheung Wan, where we walked through local dried seafood streets and saw the gradual change of the area as it became more westernised. We also walked along Hollywood road and past possession street where the British first placed the Union Jack in the 1840s. We then went through artist district and entered Man Mo temple. From their we took the largest outdoor escalator and walked around the Soho restaurant area. We finished our tour by crossing to Kowloon on the Star Ferry, where we visited the Old Clock Tower, Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Peninsula Hotel and finally to the Won Tai Sin temple complex. Overall we felt we had truly experienced Hong Kong, and Katie was excellent in her interactions with us to ensure we were getting the maximum from the experience and that the pace we were going out was right for us.

5 hr walking tour of Hong Kong
We were met at our hotel by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable Aussie guide Donald and lead around the island discussing the history, present conditions, enjoying the contrast of different neighborhoods and the dynamic exciting diversity of Hong Kong. We used the Star Ferry, MTR and taxis to move around and miss the crowds at Pike’s Peak. A 5 Star experience. B&M

          Private tours with Rich
Our family of 4 adults vacationed in Hong Kong for 4 days in Dec 2017. We looked at several trip options and finally decided to go with this company. Rich was our guide for those days. He did an excellent job communicating to us from the day we made the booking. Since we had 2 adult children, we wanted to make sure that all our needs were met. Rich did an excellent job making suggestions and planning the trip based on our family's interests. When we met him for the first time in Hong kong at the hotel lobby, we felt like we knew him already. He was professional, detail oriented, mindful of our requests, flexible with the trip, made awesome suggestions for vegetarian dining, gave us the local experience without taking away from the wonder the city had to offer. By the end of the first day, we became friends. He even planned our evenings and night time activities for us to do on our own. He also took a lot of pictures and consolidated them for us. If you are in Hongkong and you want a custom private tour, then look no further/. Rich is the guy to call. Thank you Rich.

Full Day Private Walking Tour with Rich
Booked thru AAA and Viator. Excellent pre-trip communication. Rich truly customized our day to meet our requests - the must see spots but also the 'other' side of Hong Kong as well. Rich was informative, I checked his information upon returning, and encouraged us to experience the local flavor that is HK. Definitely need good walking shoes as we walked a lot, but also utilized the subway. Rich also provided us with a photo montage and a detailed itinerary after we returned. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Rich.

          Five Hour Private Tour
On our first full day in Hong Kong we took a private tour with Don. This was a perfect way to see the city that we had never visited. We were met at our hotel and traveled by ferry, tram, taxi, and cable car. Don was able to give us a full overview of the city and was able to make suggestions as to how to spend the rest of our time. I highly recommend this experience.

          Private Tour in Hong Kong
spent a fantastic day with a tour guide Rich who just knew so much on all the things that we visited. From the best sites in Hong Kong to a lunch where most locals eat, we had a once in a lifetime tour which we will cherish for many years to come. Rich was the best tour guide we ever had anywhere in the world!

Highly recommended tour of hong kong
Fantastic private tour of Hong Kong with our guide Rich. Totally worth the money. Rich was an outstanding guide with endless knowledge and enthusiasm. He tailored the day to our preferences and made sure we maximised our time and never stood in queues. Rich selected the most efficient and practical mode of transport to get everywhere. Highlights: Victoria peak view before the crowds and heat, just spectacular. Star ferry and stories of Hong Kong its culture and history- loved it. Highlight was Stanley. In hindsight I could have spent more time there pottering in markets and having a quiet meal overlooking the beach. It was my kind of place.

          Fantastic Introduction to Hong Kong
We were visiting Hong Kong on our way back from Europe and found this tour to be absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide Nikki had contacted us weeks in advance to better understand our interests while in Hong Kong. From that information she devised two itineraries for us to choose from. On the day of our tour, Nikki met us at our hotel and took us to a Yum Cha Breakfast at the Michelin starred Lin Heung Kui Tea House, then a walk along Wing Lok Street and Des Voeux Road West where we saw the dried seafoods, sharks fins, birds nests and Chinese medicinal goods. We then walked to the Kowloon Walled City Park and saw some of the low income housing in the area. It was then on to the famous Hoover bakery where we sampled some of the Chinese baked goods on offer and enjoyed them with coffee and tea at a Space Cafe. We travelled by bus to Mong Kok where we talked about Hong Kong’s organised criminal gangs; the Triads. We walked through the Goldfish Market and one of the electronics markets, learning about feng shui and grey market or water market goods. Lastly back on the MTR to Central and Soho. Nikki was great about orientating us, getting us an Octopus card so we were able to use public transport and giving us restaurant recommendations. She is very articulate and very knowledgeable. A wonderful guide. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see a different side of Hong Kong or for those with a special interest in Chinese/Hong Kong's history.

The best tour I have ever had -- after visiting 60 countries!
Rich is the most passionate, amazing, and efficient tour guide on the planet. This is no exaggeration -- we have visit 60 countries and have done private tours in most of them, and this is by far and away the very best of all of them. Let me tell you why: Our guide was extremely prepared, had multiple correspondences before we arrived so that he could accurately taylor our tour to our specific interests. I felt he touched on both the traditional tourist spots as well as fun places off the beaten path. The tour was interactive, far more than the typical tour guides would provide. We loved it. Most importantly - he navigated the city with efficiency and ease to cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. We bypassed all lines, never waited for a couple of minutes for a taxi or train, hopped right on to the ferry - during transit, Rich continued the tour giving many details about the sites and history of Hong Kong. An added bonus, he took amazing photos of us throughout the tour and put the together as an album. This tour was worth every penny! Thanks again Rich -- we give you an A+ and a thousand stars (five is not enough!).

          Fantastic introduction to Hong Kong
Jessica, our guide, made our limited time in Hong Kong so memorable. Her enthusiasm was infectious and her depth of knowledge was exceptional. She showed us a side of Hong Kong which would normally only be accessible to 'locals'. I cant speak more highly of Jessica and her tour company who were professional, courteous and 'spot on' with suggestions, information and organization from our first contact. Highly recommended! Will be in contact with My Private Guide again when we next visit Hong Kong.

Don was an amazing guide with phenomal information of all of the tour highlights. I had prior requests for places to visit and he made it all happen. Our guide Mel is a local from Hong Kong and showed a deep knowledge of all aspects of history and culture. He took us on a well thought out and well paced tour that covered some significant historical areas and very interesting food stops that we would never have ventured to by ourselves. He gave us a good overview of the public transport system and helped us set up our MTR card. He also gave us some good tips on the itinerary for the rest of our stay. All in all it was a decision we were very glad we made.

Rich took us on a fast pace tour of Hong Kong that included most of the places we asked to see before we met. From Kowloon, we took the MTR to the Tsim Sha Tsui Harbor Front where Rich explained the influence of Feng Shui on the buildings in the financial center of Hong Kong Island before boarding the Star Ferry. On Hong Kong island we visited Victoria Peak and then ate lunch at a very authentic Dim Sum restaurant where Rich introduced us to dim sum we never had before. Afterwards, Rich took us to the Wong Tai Sin temple where he explained the significance of the rituals of the temple and statues. In addition to the Star Ferry, we traveled by train, taxi, tram and bus, maximizing our time. Along the way, Rich enthusiastically explained the history and culture of Hong Kong. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a personalized experience with someone with deep knowledge of HK who can highlight sights of particular interest to you and maximize your visit.

Nathan took the four of us on a comprehensive tour of Hong Kong including many things from our prebooking questionnaire. We met him at the railway station after travelling in from the airport. He suggested we catch taxis to the summit of Victoria Peak and the ride was quite an experience to say the least. After a short stroll along the walking trail we took some beautiful shots out over Hong Kong and surrounds. The views were so much better than the usual "tourist" spot. We then caught the tram down Victoria Peak and when we got to the bottom with the massive line up of people we knew that Nathan knew this town well. We walked through the business district with Nathan telling us many interesting things with regard to history, the architecture and cultural aspects such as feng shui. We took the ferry across to Tsim Sha Tsui and sampled egg tart which is a local favourite. We visited the Clock Tower/Old Railway Station and also The Peninsula where we were told the history including the Battle of Hong Kong and Japanese occupation. In contrast, we also visited Chungking Mansions where the suitcase entrepreneurs abound. On to Tin Hau Temple where Nathan explained the significance of the incense, prayers and readings. It was all very interesting. A trip to the Jade and Pearl market to pick up a couple of souvenirs to take home and then over to Sheung Wan to visit the Knead sandwich shop which catered for gluten free bread. Nathan then arranged for a taxi to take us back to the Airport train station to take us back for our flight. Nathan is a great tour guide and as we had a 12 hour stopover it was a wonderful way of experiencing Hong Kong and surrounds. We used all forms of public transport and walked to a lot of areas. I am not the fittest of people but I kept up the pace. A comfortable pair of walking shoes is a good idea and definitely take a camera as there are so many photo opportunities when you are walking around. I love the way they ask you what you want to see and work the tour around your interests. I would gladly do it again if I ever find myself in Hong Kong in the future.

Our guide Katie, arrived at our hotel promptly at 9am.
She is a friendly and extremely knowledgeable guide.
Our group of 6 friends walked the streets of Kowloon & HK Island, travelled on the peak tram, a star ferry, a taxi, a regular tram, the subway and an amazing escalator system.
It's a full on tour, easy paced but with lots of walking and stairs.
As we wended our way around the place, Katie gave us so much info on the history of HK, in an easy to understand way.
This tour does require a reasonable level of fitness, so I suggest you check with the guide for more info. I'm sure sure you will find Katie lovely.

Rich gave us a great short tour of Hong Kong. It was tailored to our particular likes and was well planned and paced to show the contrasts of the city - from busy bustling city stops to quieter temples and gardens. Rich's knowledge of the city was great and it allowed us to see a really diverse range of sights in Hong Kong in a very short time. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
