      Nice and relaxing!
More convenient to buy cable-car tickets online. Not worth to buy the snack/meal vouchers. Used to be worth it but now the snack voucher can only be used to exchange a cup of diluted yuzi drink.

      Great views
I thought that it would take ages to buy a ticket and then get on the cars, but the queue for pre-bought tickets was so much longer. We got there when it opened and were at the airport by 2 pm. That included taking a bus.

      Nice views up
Excellent trip up in the cable car. We had a beautiful view of the area. It was a safe and breezy trip up to the top. It's about 30 minutes to go from the bottom to the top.

Round trip with family in cable car to Big Buddha statue.
Great view but not for the person with fear of heights. Very good views in all directions! Nice hop off at the island with walk to Big Buddha statue and all lotus flowers. Scary when in the cabin and windy weather! Avoid if you’re afraid of heights!

Great views in the Crystal cabin
We did a return cable car, going up in the crystal cabin and returning in the standard cabin. Both were an experience, views were amazing however we had low cloud half way up, so you couldn’t see much however it did add a bit of excitement to the ride not knowing what was coming. I would recommend doing Crystal or Crystal + both ways as you would have a less wait time. Best to also book tickets online so you don’t need to queue at the ticket booth line.

      Overpriced but fun activity.
We had a great time, although we thought it was a little on the expensive side for what it was (Strictly talking about the gondola ride). Still, if you're here and have the time, it's a nice activity. We did the one way trip up, took the 21 bus to Tai O. After our exploration there, we took the 1 bus to Mui Wo Ferry Terminal and took the Ferry to Central Terminal, then did the Tram stuff afterwards. Made all our connections with no trouble relying just on Google Maps informing us when the busses/ferries departed.

A view of Hong Kong via Ngong Ping 360
This was an exciting ride for the family. We rode around 11am and the line was fast moving. The winds were strong and visibility was poor which made it a lot more exciting. However, for those wanting to view Hong Kong from the top, I would recommend going in the afternoon as visibility is way better. With minimal visibility due to fog and clouds, it makes for a more exciting ride as the visibility opens up as you land ngong ping. Overall, a good experience!!

      Not For The Faint Hearted....
Although this is amazing and the best way to see the area it can be quite scary...... We came to a stop mid way down and just swung about for a while - I am not the best for cable cars and the only reason I didn't completely freak out was because we had a chinese family who understood the announcement without panicing - maybe would be an idea to use other languages aswell please...

Nightmare! At this moment the cable car is suspended since of bad weather. We family have been waiting at Ngong Ping station for more than 90mins without any broadcasting of any alternative arrangement!

Time to do a cable car ride - in Hong Kong!
The best way to do this attraction is book it yourself - do not do a tour - they are rip offs and you do not get to do what you want - plus the prices are ridiculous. The cost of the Cable Car return is from HK$270 for a standard car up to HK$350 for a crystal car per person. A crystal car is basically a glass floored car that you can see everything underneath you. To be fair the exciting things to see are all above your feet - so I thought this option was a waste of money. Get the train or metro to the Tung Chung station - it is around a 30 min trip from the main Hong Kong station. However, if you are staying somewhere else in HK it is easy to get a train to this station from where you are staying. The trip to the top is great - you pass through many stations and many points where you can see so many things. The HK airport can be seen as you get higher in the cable car. Plus so many other sites. It is a great trip and well worth doing.

Nice View along the way when weather is good.
This place is so close to airport, so we made it our first stop of our visit. The cable car has very good view along the way. definitely took at least the crystal cart, the all-glass floor at some flavor to the ride. After the ride we got to the Big Buddat, which is not much to explore. We took the cable car back, and it's less crowded when we come back and we are able to get a cart for ourselves, and took many more fun pictures.

      Don’t waste your money.
I would give this 0 stars but the views saved it. Absolutely awful experience, lack of staff and ridiculous lines both there and back. Thought we were saving time by ordering through Klook but watched multiple people purchase tickets and still get on the cable cars quicker. Over priced food and an overall disappointing experience.

The difference between crystal cabin and standard cabin is minimal. Better to take one way cabin and take the bus on the way down.

No queues for pregnant ladies. The staff would shamelessly ask them to buy more expensive tickets to shorten the waiting time (but still wait) or just stand there for hours.

A tip: come early and leave early as the queue for the cars start to grow after 4pm. The waiting time just increase to an hour on a holiday

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment regarding the queuing arrangement and regret to learn about your experience. In view of high demand of cable car services during the holiday season, we have deployed extra staff and additional counters to facilitate ticket redemption and guest flow. The queuing arrangement at pre-boarding area would be assigned in accordance to the cabin type. Your kind understanding of this is highly appreciated. We understand the queuing time affected your experience and we will be reviewing these arrangements in order to shorten guests’ waiting time during peak periods for the near future as you may understand we have not experienced in a long time due to the pandemic. Last but not least, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your feedback. Your feedback is essential for us to strive for service excellence.

Bought the ticket through Klook, but all still need to exchange the voucher by manually queuing in the long line. Inefficient for someone who bought the ticket to make it more efficient.

    -

The staffs are so rude, no smile as per hospitality person should do.

The most bad experience is while shopping in the Starbucks, the staff really dont have manner.

It made for a half-day excursion, but enjoyed every moment of it. Started with a 25 minute cable car (we opted for the crystal bottom floor which is for thrillseekers ) that overlooked Landau island (so pretty). The cable cars were steady and did not even rock in the wind (that's good as I have been on those that have). Upon arrival, we had a short trek to the Big Buddha which was reasonable in distance. The stairs were not bad, however, if you have NO excercise regimen you WILL find it challenging. Once we reached the top, we were able to see some additional views of Landau worth snapshotting. As you depart, there are nice souvenir shops to do some last minute purchasing. We also opted to have a quick bite at the one of several food shoppes and was pleasantly surprised by what we ate. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!!

Second - and somebody even says that first - of the most beautiful sightseeing places in Hong Kong. Notwithstanding the lines that you cannot avoid when buying tickets, the cabble car and the views which are waiting for you on your way to Big Buddah are definitely worth seeing!

Disgusting money grabbing service, told us the temple was shut but failed to mention the 3 hour long ques that was already in place the other end to get back down.

Traveled all of this east to HK from UK to see a parade that we missed trying to get down …

Would not recommend as even the pods were dirty so all the pictures were ruined

The cable car is beautiful and worth seeing. You can buy tickets in advance to reduce the waiting time. The food in Po Lin Monastery is delicious. Climbing is comfortable. Hong Kong is beautiful in autumn and winter. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is beautiful. The Buddha is beautiful. The tofu pudding is sweet. It is recommended to inform customers of the waiting time for the cable car. This way, they can queue more calmly. It is a worthwhile attraction.
