We could not be happier with our tour of Hong Kong led by Jacky. Our cruise arrived on Easter Sunday, and Jacky met us promptly at the terminal and led us on a throughly interesting walking tour, which wasn't just walking by any means. It included a ferry ride, taxi ride, tram ride, subway ride, boat ride, bus ride, and monorail ride, all perfectly planned without any waiting or wasted time. All the while, Jacky was talking with us about the history, the daily life in Hong Kong, answering our questions, and customizing the tour as needed. We mentioned that we would love to have a dim sum lunch, so he took us at the end of the tour to a great little place near the cruise terminal, ordered for us in Chinese, and left us with directions to get ourselves back to the ship when we finished. The next day Jacky emailed us several photos which he snapped of us throughout the tour....A great reminder of a great day! Our kudos to Jacky.

My family and I scheduled a private half day tour of Hong Kong and a full day tour of Macau with Jackie. We greatly enjoyed the tours. Jackie is very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. I highly recommend his tours.

Jacky did an awesome job as our guide! He is very knowledgeable and answers all of your questions. He gave a bit of a history lesson which was very interesting. We went to Victoria Peak, the financial district and an authentic local market where all the locals buy their fresh food. It was awesome! We highly recommend Jacky!

Our intent was to get a bit of history, development and better background of Hong Kong, the region and how it all came together. We basically were shown how it is today, how people struggle etc. And I understand that it is an issue. Similar to other large cities from Chicago to Nairobi.

We were contacted upon entering HKG port & a meeting time/place advised in the cruise terminal. Jacky arrived on time & enquired to confirm our requirements. As we had been frequent visitors over the past 30+ years we had "done" most of the sites. Our last visit was 10years ago & we quickly realised the changes that had taken place in the downtown area when we ventured out upon arrival in the morning so we requested a visit to what is left of the real HKG. A bus ride from Star Ferry to Mongkok saw us in the thick of it with visits to several local food delicacies, (we declined the stinky tofu) & markets, including pet street. Background info was always available along with a high degree of empathy as he noticed we were tiring of markets towards then end & returned us to ship by taxi. We wondered how much of the fee charged by "Tours by Locals" he actually received?

We hired Jackie to take a group of 4 of us on a private 4-hour walking tour of Hong Kong. We had arrived the day before and would be getting on a cruise ship the next day. We met Jackie exactly where he told us and he took us on amazing tour of some of the famous and also some out-of-the way places that only the locals know about. We took 2 kinds of boats, a taxi, the subway, an 800-meter moving walkway, a tram and a bus, so we saw just about every kind of public transportation and interesting neighborhoods there are under Jackie's professional guidance. We saw some amazing neighborhoods, ate food in local restaurants (it was fantastic!) and overall had an excellent tour. We ended up having a 5-hour tour before he returned us to our boat. We all learned a lot about Hong Kong from Jackie. I can highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a private, small-group tour of Hong Kong.

Jacky Wong made great use of my all too brief time in Hong Kong. I told him what I would like to see and he prioritized my requests. Some were out of the question since too much travel time was involved. I visited Victoria Peak, Aberdeen, and a local market that Jacky said was where his parents shopped when he was a child. Also visited the HSBC Bank and benefited by reading signboards there that summarized Hong Kong history. Especially enjoyable were the suite of transportation types we used; taxi, Uber, Victoria Peak Tram, a rickety ferry, double decker bus, double decker street car,
subway, and autonomous high speed train to the airport. Jacky provided for my every need and I can't imagine a better tour guide. He was born in Hong Kong and is rightfully proud of showing it to we touristy types. If ever I am able to return to HK, Jacky will be my point of contact . And BTW, he sent me pics that he took of me craning my neck at all the wonderful sites we visited. Thank you Jacky and best wishes. 8-)

We enjoyed our trip with Jackie. He English is first rate. Jackie was great to explain all we did see and got our luggage from the ship to the hotel. He was an enjoyable host for our family of 6 (with 2 teens) in Hong Kong.

We had half a day to experience Hong Kong and found Jacky. We are so glad we did. Jacky met us and took us on a tour of what I would say was all the highlights that anyone could want to see. We saw and experienced so much in 4 hours. Jacky was a gracious host and very knowledgeable about Hong Kong, the history, culture and customs. He shows us things that we wouldnt have been able to find on our own and gave us a glimpse into daily life in Hong Kong. I wish we had more time to spend in Hong Kong and we would have scheduled other tours with him. It really was a perfect tour and day in Hong Kong.
