About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Luobute0 contributionsLights at night - SpectacularThe lights/view at night was beautiful. We walked in the Shibati district. One tea house we didn't have time to try. Will go there next time. Wonderful Hot Pot restaurant on the Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Also, took pictures at the Monument in ChongQing Times Square. Also, watched the subway train go into the apartment building. ( Ihave some good photos on my phone. Not sure how to get them to you.)Written December 3, 2024
- Sillypiggys0 contributionsIt’s a must see but don’t go on weekendsBeautiful place with great views of the city. A lot of small lanes, tea houses, restaurants and alleyways. It’s best to go late afternoon as it’s also beautiful at night. Take time out to enjoy tea with the roasting of nuts and potatoes or trying some of the dumplings. A serving (tea and two plates of dumplings) for a family of 4 with late teens costed 150 yuan. Shibati is very close by so we did that as well. Shibati is also amazing at night.Written January 9, 2024
- Bjorn7770 contributionsThe ultimate China cruiseFirst and foremost, we highly recommend Century Cruises. My wife and I are seasoned world travelers. My business and our pleasure travels cover every continent, and all trips and cruises are always at the highest class. I mention that because our exceptions from our first cruise with Century were high. The Century Oasis is a beautiful and very high-end vessel. The rooms (in our case the suite) were beyond any suite we have stayed in on any other major cruise ship. We looked at the standard stateroom and they too were far beyond any equivalent type on any of the major cruise ships – both in size, practicality and appearance and cleanliness. Noteworthy is that the whole cruise is perfectly planned providing ample time to see the river, rest and site-see. The service was outstanding. The personal attention we received from boarding to disembarkation made us feel royal. The food was excellent. Every shore based sightseeing tour was beyond anything we experienced on any other cruise; in any many other countries we have visited. Special compliments to the fantastic Cruise Manager Allan as well to Kira who took personal care of us 7/24. Last but not least we highly recommend the Yangtze River cruise to whoever wants to experience China's heartland and expereince beautiful scenary and culture. To make the best of such a trip we very highly recommend Century Cruises ( at least on the Glory which we saild on)Written November 27, 2023
