What an absolutely great experience. The Great Wall is just as advertised or better. It goes on forever. It was hot and crowded, and to get to it you have to get through quite a few vendors but everything gets commercialized these days. How can you be in China and not go see this?

I completed this tour in June of 2024. I had an amazing time on the tour with guide Jenny. She did a great job keeping me informed of when I would be picked up from the hotel, as well as the schedule of events for the day. She even assisted me in arranging a train ride from the Beijing railway station after the tour. Personally, one of the best things about this tour was the clear communication throughout the process. Jenny's English diction was superb and I never had any issues understanding what she was communicating to me or our group. Additionally, her knowledge of Chinese history and customs is deep. I learned so much about Chinese heritage through this tour. Finally, my experience in visiting several amazing Chinese locations would've been less enjoyable without the use of a professional guide. Jenny was able to bypass several long lines at each of the stops, ensuring our group had more time at each location. Overall, I enjoyed this tour thoroughly and definitely feel that it is worth the money paid. Thanks again to Jenny and the tour company.

Perfect trip to get all you need to know about Beijing in one day. It was an intense but very educational and interesting day. Tiananmen Square, forbidden city, jade factory, nice lunch, Great Wall and finally a tea ceremony in a tea store. What I loved was that we were only 4 guests and so it all went very efficiently. The guide and driver was very friendly and got us some nice stories. I would recommend.

The group we were paired with was diverse it made the trip more interesting. The guide was patient and funny also the driver spoke less, very carefully on the road. They have enough time and information on the land sites visited

the tour itself I would not recommend for several reasons - when up at the wall it is spent as free time and there is actually no guiding or thorough explanation for the wall itself -it was 140 yuan for the cable car round trip so was an additional expense - for lunch we were taken to the golden palace where we visited a Jade Factory - I did not like how this was a mandatory visit despite not being listed on the itinerary Treat it as a shuttle service where you will be taken to additional stops at an extra expense

Our tour guide Michael was very informative and spoke near perfect English. The Ming Tomb tour is more like a museum and not quite what I had expected. The architecture including the huge wooden columns was the savior for me. I've been to other parts of the Wall before and this was just as impressive. The lunch stop at the jade factory was as expected. Mostly just a sales presentation, but the food was very good. We skipped the tea ceremony at the end, as we knew it would just be just another sales pitch.
