I went on a tour with Sherry to the Summer Palace and the Great Wall of China. The tour was such a fun and pleasant activity, and I learned so many small details about the Chinese culture, while exploring two great sights. We had a lovely lunch together at a local chinese restaurant, with different dishes to try. I highly recommend doing this tour and I look forward to doing it again, the next time I am in Beijing. Very informative tour. Vivian knew a lot of information & showed us so many things - she even helped us get lunch after the tour! As we went over national day holiday it was very busy however Vivian ensured we didn’t line up at all. Great tour - thank you!

Highly recommend. Sherry was so nice and helpful. She showed un the summer palace and the great wall adapting the tour to our needs. She answered all our questions and recommended us places to visit and to eat. The lunch was also very good. If you are in Beijing and want to visit the great wall don't hesitate doing it with Sherry!

This is a great tour that I can highly recommend. I was picked up by Vivian (my guide for the day) and the driver at my hotel at 8 am, and we went straight to Summer Palace. Unfortunately, it rained heavily that day, but that didn't deter us from exploring the palace grounds. Vivian was a great guide - extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and she took pictures of me wherever she thought would be good. She took care of tickets, and she took the time to really go into the details of China's history. After around two hours of exploring Summer Palace, we were picked up again by the driver and the next stop was a lunch place on the way towards the Great Wall. They took me to a restaurant in a smaller town, and Vivian ordered a nice variety of dishes. The food was just amazing. We then drove to the Great Wall where we took a cable car to the top and walked on the wall for a while. Despite the mist and rain it was truly impressive and I felt lucky not to have too many tourists around. Again, Vivian took several great pictures of me. Once we were back down, Vivian and the driver took me back to my hotel. Overall, this is the best way of exploring these sights, and everything was well organized, and both Vivian and the driver were great people to spend the day with.

It was a great experience with an excellent guide, Ms Susan. I got a lot of very interesting information and an insight of history at the time.

it was our second time in Beijing and almost we cannot visit the forbidden city AGAIN !!! but Susan helps us, and we can get in, we can looking around receive so much information and really enjoy the experience, very wonderful time, we avoid big lines to enter and in a really short time live the best experience ever in the forbidden city, very recommended.

Our guide Susan gave us an amazing tour. Susan was very friendly and her English was great, she had lots of information and helped take photos as well. She also gave us some tips for dinner places and helped by sending us screenshots of the subway stops we would need to ask for. Really helpful! Highly recommended this tour.

Claire is an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgable and engaging. We learned a lot about the history of the forbidden city. I have been to the forbidden city before and Claire is the best guide. Highly recommended!!!

Jimmy of Discover Beijing was both friendly and knowledgeable. He knows the ins and outs of the Great Wall and Summer Palace and he spoke excellent English. He was also very attentive and ordered the best BJ lunch for us. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing tour and Anson was an amazing tourguide who really went in depth with the historic lessons. His English is perfect and he vividly painted the background and many stories that surround this amazing place. I would definitely advise anyone to take this tour!

Highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide Anson was extremely knowledgeable and informative! The historical facts and architectural details he provided us with were so in depth. The way he spoke was like telling a story, which made the tour even more interesting and fascinating. You can tell his passion for China's history. I had my aged parents with me, and Anson was so patient and caring from start to finish, making sure they had time to rest and keeping pace with them the whole way. Very nice and interesting your. The tour guide Sherry was very punctual and picked us up with a nice sign with our name (very useful because of the large crowds). She told us lots of interesting facts about the Summer Palace and Chinese culture in general. She also gave us tips on how to best enjoy our free time there. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. My hubby & I really enjoyed our Forbidden City trip with Sherry as our guide. She is not only knowledgeable but also caring and patient. On top of a detailed explanation of the Palace Museum's history and anicodotes, she brought extra care to our physical conditions.
