          Best Beijing Tour Guide
Our short visit in Beijing was especially memorable thanks to our excellent guide Cathy and our driver Wu from Metro Tour! Cathy was a pleasure to spend time with. Her bubbly personality made everything so much fun! Her historical knowledge was incredible and we were able to retain many interesting facts. All of the main attractions in Beijing were included and everything was prearranged so we didn't have to wait in lineups. Meals for both days highlighted local cuisine and were delicious! Cathy was also extremely flexible, arranging a larger van for our last day to fit all of our luggage and helping us find specific items. We highly recommend Cathy if you want the best tour guide in Beijing!

          Famous Beijing opera
Great experience if you are in Beijing. Beijing opera is such a mesmerizing show, so different from what we are used in Europe. Costumes really detailed, voices in harmony and expressions on point. My guide tour Cathy was really nice and welcoming. She explained about the opera and the themes I was about to see. Very lively and talkative. So good to have her for today. I would recommend this activity to everyone coming to Beijing

          Awesome Beijing Tour Guide
If you are looking for an awesome Beijing Tour Guide we found her! Kathy has amazing knowledge of Chinese and local history and shares in an interesting and memorable way! Over the two days Kathy was able to share all the attractions we requested at a great pace that was not exhausting. She provided local cuisine on both days for lunch and offered information on unknown foods, its preparation and how to eat it! Kathy’s sense of humour, storytelling ability and engaging personal alert kept us interested and informed throughout the two days. No lightening lanes but Kathy has tickets purchased ahead and whisks you through crowds quickly and easily. I highly recommend booking a tour with Kathy if planning a trip to Beijing

          Top level experience !!! ❤️
Excelente evening experience ! were picked up promptly by a very professional driver who brought us to theatre, our tour guide Kathy who is very sweet and gracious. She brought us into the show which was 5000 years of excellence rolled into a modern experience. I recommend this highly. The show is a very unique experience. Everything that I expected a Chinese opera to be and more. The costumes and the scenery were over the top. The scene with the water falling was out of this world. Kathy’s tour Company delivered exactly what they promised and more !

Outstanding service from Cathy’s company !!! Lovely guide and driver’s service !!!
Tour operator Cathy is an asset for the company ! From when I booked she communicated with me, assured me the train will be booked once the tickets were available. Even through our messages she sounded so lovely !!! Cathy provides the details from your Electronic booking with an English translation. She also gives you instructions for once you're at the train station. I was very lucky to meet Cathy, she's amazing, such a sweetheart, I can't wait to return to Beijing to see her. Nothing is a hassle for Cathy you just need to ask. Cathy also has other tours. She goes above and beyond. Her English is great and she has a lovely sense of humour. Thank you so much for everything Cathy. ( Thanks my driver Yang too, He was in good spirits and a courteous man, very helpful man !!! )

Best way to explore the museum
My tour guide was a friendly local called Mike, who was very knowledgeable and informative about China’s ancient history. Without his expertise I would have discovered very little. It was a really interesting morning and I would encourage anyone planning a visit to the museum to have this private tour.

Fantastic Two Days with Yan Zi!👍
We booked a two-day tour of Bejing with Yan Zi, and it turned out to be an amazing action-packed experience! She met us at the hotel on the first day and was very welcoming—she even helped with some questions we had for the hotel! Her command of the English language is strong, and she was always positive and enthusiastic. Yan Zi introduced us to our driver and we got started in a spacious Buick van. The first day, we hit several popular tourist sites—Forbidden City, Temple of Heavenly Gate, and experienced a rickshaw ride through the Hutong neighborhood. As we walked through the sites, Yan Zi took care to provide explanations of everything we observed and took many pictures, which she sent along to us. Lunch was fantastic and highlighted local dishes like Peking duck, kung pao chicken and noodles. It was all delicious and was more than we could eat! For the evening, Yan Zi arranged for us to see a show that highlighted the cultural history of Bejing. It was visually stunning and capped off a great first day. Day two we travelled to the Summer Palace and The Great Wall. Again, Yan Zi was knowledgeable about the history, patiently answered our questions, and took many pictures. She even gave us a Chinese history lesson on the way to the Wall. We stopped at a restaurant that specialized in fresh trout. It was a unique experience and tasted great. Yan Zi was very organized and had things lined up in a way where we could make the most of the time without feeling rushed. She listened to us and adjusted based on what interested us most. She worked with our very capable driver to move us seamlessly from location to location. I would highly recommend Yan Zi as a tour guide for your next trip to Bejing!

          Ancient China Exhibition National Museum
William our guide was fantastic on the way to Museum he started the history tour pointing places of interest. His knowledge of Chinese history was great. At the Museum William was able to quickly and efficiently get us through the ques of people. Once in the Ancient China exhibition William was able to move us through explaining the different eras and history of China. His English was excellent the only problem being the crowds proving the exhibition was popular to locals as well. After we left Museum William pointed us in the direction Qianmeng Streets and recommended and excellent place for tea. Thank you We will be recommending William to friends coming in April.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Stunning performance! A must see!!
Exciting, beautiful, and highly entertaining!! The acrobat performance was visually stunning and the performers were highly skilled! My guide Cathy with Meto Tours booked me VIP tickets with front row middle seats. I was so close to the stage that I felt I was part of the show. We were able to skip the line and have time to relax before the show started. The show was an action packed one hour adventure that had me on the edge of my seat at different points! I highly recommend booking this show with Meto Tours and ask for Cathy she is an incredible English speaking guide that has a genuine passion for your most pleasant and memorable experience!

This is an extension of our 2 days local tour in Beijing and we were so impressed with the local tour arranged by Cathy and we have decided to extend our adventure outside Beijing city recommended by Cathy.

The first thing that come to mind is Xi’an Terracotta Warriors and this trip certainly is one of the best tour I had in recent years in terms of costs and benefits and value for money.. Yes. You can have both good value and good services in the same sentence.

We got picked up at our hotel at 5.40am at our hotel. Breakfast is well packed ready for us to take on the bullet train. ( I optioned to upgrade the seats from 2nd class to 1st class for a small fee and it is so worth it ). In a few hours, I arrived at the Xi’an Bei train station and immediately I was welcomed by our friendly local guide - Angela on a Christmas Day! with our driver waiting at the lobby.

It look about an hour to travel from the bullet train station to the Terracotta Warriors Museum. She has given us a very good background of Xi’an history and the significant of the Terracotta Warriors and what to do look for while we were there. More important she has also given us notice on what NOT to do while we were there which is to buy anything from the street hawker as it may cause chaos to yourself. Very good advice indeed.

The tour is amazing, every details of the Terracotta Warriors was explained to me, from head to toes, age and position in the army. Angela communication skill is excellent. We have no issues communicating with her through out the trip in English. I was told that Angela was major in English and Japanese and she has been a tourist guide over a decade.

After the tour, she took us to a local restaurant to try the local hand made noodles and I was totally shocked with how big the serve is. That was totally unexpected. She also took us to the new farm village nearby to experience the new life of the framer.

And to my surprise - she also took us to meet the original framer who discovered the first Terracotta Warriors at 1974! He was a kind man and was willing to take photo with us free of charge! What a once in a life time experience.

I am very pleased with the tour with Angela / Cassie / Cathy and I highly recommend to anyone who would like to spend a day trip outside Beijing to Xi’an

Excellent experience! Seamless logistics being picked up from our hotel in Beijing and put onto the train by Cathy, then met by our guide Lily at Xian train station. Lovely meal of biang biang noodles and mutton stew at a local restaurant before visiting the Terracotta Warriors. Being taken around the museum was brilliant accompanied by Lily’s expertise. Highly recommend to go in early December as it is low season and you will avoid the crowds!

Our guide, Angela was incredible from end to end. She explained the background and history of Xi’an very clearly to us and answered all our queries.

At the museum, she explained the different types of warriors, officers, and the likes and the differing meanings of what each detail (of the terracotta pieces) meant.

At lunch, she also introduced us to some local food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Of course, she also shared some background of the dishes, which were native Xi’an.

Angela and the driver (Mr Yeo) were very professional throughout the trip. I would recommend going through them again for those wanting to visit Xi’an, and the terracotta museum.

A special shoutout to Cathy who helped in organising the itinerary and arranging the various logistics, from Beijing - in making our trip to Xi’an a wonderful one!

Going to see the Terracotta Warriors was a late decision for us so we were unsure if we could even manage to get tickets to see it on time. Luckily we found this! Cathy worked very hard on short notice to get us bullet train tickets on a Chinese Public Holiday which was definitely no easy feat so we are very grateful for her.

Once we arrived at Xi'an North Station, Eva was already waiting in the advised location. Immediately I could see her amazing and bubbly personality so I knew this tour would be amazing. She asked us for lunch and made sure we ate was we were after. Once we reached the museum, Eva gave great detail about the history of the Terracotta Warriors and general Chinese History. I feel like I could become a scholar of Chinese History after this tour. She helped guide us through the busy crowds and made sure we didn't miss a single glimpse of this beautiful location. For anyone wanting to see the Terracotta Warriors, please reach out to Eva as she will make sure your visit is the best it possibly can be.

This was a fantastic day trip from Beijing to see the terracotta warriors in Xi'an. I was in Beijing on a short business trip but really wanted to try to make it to Xi'an to see the storied warriors. Cathy arranged everything and organized a driver for pick up at the hotel in Beijing to go to the train station. Her directions on how to get to the train were perfect and she was always available if you had any question! The train was comfortable and timing was perfect. The tour guide in Xi'an was Angie and she was absolutely fantastic. Angie had so much knowledge about the warriors and the history of Xi'an and was so excited to share it all. The tour never felt rushed you had ample time to visit all of the pits and see each part of the archaeological site. Another great addition was that this tour goes out of its way to take you to a local restaurant in town rather than a tourist restaurant next to the archaeological site. The food there was delicious! Overall this was a fantastic day trip from Beijing and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see the warriors but is limited on time.

We booked our tour to visit the terracotta armee in Xi'an. Our contact person was Cathy who organized everything including the train tickets for us. We got picked up at our accommodation and got dropped off at the train station in Beijing. In Xi'an Angie our super lovely guide already waited for us and picked us up with a driver to get to the museum. On the way there she told us a lot about the History of Xian. In the Terracotta Museum she made sure to give us the opportunity to take pictures and to answer all our questions. She also told us a lot about the history which was amazing. After the museum Angie took us to eat handmade local food which was absolutely delicious. All in all we can definitely recommend these two because it was an absolute hassle free trip and we could really enjoy the museum and didn't have to plan anything. It was definitely worth it and we would book it again if we come to Xian.

If you want a day trip from Beijing, I strongly recommend seeing the Terracotta Warriors. This organized trip makes it exceedingly easy. Cathy takes care of you from the beginning, and the pick up and drop off at your hotel is so smooth. Our tour guide, Fred, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I was blown away by how he brought the history to life. My teenaged son and I had a trip of a lifetime. Enjoy!

Fantastic tour. Excellent communication ahead of the tour, Cathy was in touch with me right after booking the tour and sent train tickets soon afterwards. She provided all information. The driver picked me up from my hotel, he actually arrived slightly ahead of time and waited for me in the lobby. He even brought me a breakfast snack as it was too early for me to have breakfast at the hotel.
The pickup from the railway station in Xi’an was equally seamless. On the way to the terracotta warriors museum they treated me to a very satisfying heap of local dumplings.
The tour guide Eva was very knowledgeable, provided detailed information and managed the flow of the tour very smoothly. She explained not only the terracotta warriors also with a lot of history of Xi’an and China , I learned a lot, very informative and educational, Eva is really amazing tour guide , very friendly and personable.
The car is very clean, has sufficient legroom and the driver is friendly.
If you have a day to spare in Beijing and want to see the terracotta warriors, seek no further and make sure to book this experience.

        Excellent tour and guide!

I booked this tour at the end of a business trip and I did not have much time for touring. Additionally, I was solo so it was important to me to have a guide to help me in my touring.

Ahead of the tour Cathy, the coordinator, reached out to instructions for catching the train. The day of, everything happened exactly as she explained and her instructions were very easy to follow.

When I arrived in Xi'an I was kindly greeted by my tour guide Eva and the driver. Both Eva and the driver were very friendly, and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the car, it was a very pleasant and comfortable journey. They took me to get lunch at a local noodle restaurant. I am a vegetarian, however this was no problem. The food was all extremely delicious and the restaurant was very authentic.

Next we went to see the terracotta warriors. The museum was very crowded, however, Eva was able to bypass the long wait and get us in quickly. During the tour Eva provided a lot of information on the history and meaning behind all the different pieces and well as additional info about the Qin dynasty and Chinese culture and beliefs. Eva also took tons of great pictures for me and sent them to me directly. I highly recommend this tour for visiting the terracotta warriors in Xi'an!

We were in Beijing and suddenly made last minute plans to try to make it to Xi'an the next morning. Cathy was amazing in organising and curating our tour, and managed to make all the arrangements within a mere hour or two from Beijing.

When we got to Xi'an, Angela met us at the train station, and whisked us right away to see the terracotta warriors.

She explained its history in detail and even told us that to-date, she has been to the Terracotta Musuem more than 500 times!

We then had Biang Biang noodles, which was served in a humongous bowl. It was definitely an experience.

A quick shout out also to Mr. Yao, our driver. We had a train to catch at 6pm and he managed to get us to the station on time, by going through the smaller country side roads. Peak hour traffic here is insane.

I will definitely be returning to Xi'an to check out all the other amazing things it has to offer, and when I do, I will be looking Angela up for sure.
