My partner and I visited the Great Wall with our tour guide, Rita, and it was a fantastic experience. The tour was well-organised, and Rita ensured we returned to the airport on time for our next flight. She shared fascinating history and insights throughout the tour, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Despite the extremely cold weather that day, Rita made sure we were comfortable by providing warm jackets and attending to every detail. We also had plenty of time to explore and soak in the breathtaking views. I highly recommend this tour and Rita as a guide for anyone visiting the Great Wall!

My family and I had a 12 hour layover in Beijing. We decided to do the Mutianyu Great Wall private tour. I am so glad we did. Even, few days before our trip, the tour operator Daniel answered all our enquiries very quickly via email. He gave us great advice of how to deal with checked baggage and immigration in Beijing. On the day of the trip Herbie was our guide. He is a legend. Mr Lee was our driver. His car was big and very comfortable. We met Herbie at the agreed time and place in the airport. He is super friendly and supportive. He had winter coats ready for us. He was very supportive with my young child too. We learned a lot about the history and culture. We had a lot of fun in the lift chair and toboggan. Herbie was with us all the time and we felt very happy and safe during our stay. I highly recommend this tour. My child loved it so much that he wants us to go back to Beiijng. When we do, I will definitely book the same tour operator.

Very well organised tour. Our guide Alice picked us up from the meeting point at the airport on time, and we then we met our driver outside the terminal. It was a fairly quick 1 hour drive to the wall early sunday morning. On the way Alice gave us lots of information about the wall and the history. We also asked many question we had in mind. We got warm coats to use, as it was very cold, and got to the wall just after sunrise around 8am and got amazing photos taken by Alice, then walked on our own for about 1-1.5 hrs on the wall, it was a great experience. Had some hot drinks and food in Mutianuy village before heading back to the airport. Alice also suggested a stop at a tea ceremony, but we didn’t have time for it unfortunately. Our driver had a very nice hybrid vehicle and we felt very well taken care of and safe the whole way (got good naps in the car too!). Our luggage was stored in the car while we did our tour. Everything from booking to your tour to returning to the airport was handled really well and professionally! Warmly recommended.

Could not recommend this tour more! Our tour guide Herbie was so friendly and knowledgeable. We had a 13 hour layover and we went to the Great Wall and to the Old City. The time flew by and would highly recommend Herbie and this tour!

Also, in this tour you will attain the 2 tasks needed as a tourist such as visiting the said destinations. The tour was so good that we learned, a visitor is different from a tourist depending on the group’s engagement and will to learn and listen by what herbie is discussing. If you are planning to take a tour regardless of the duration, make sure Herbie is with you!

Herbie led us to the great wall and forbidden city. He told us plenty of interesting stories during the way and managed to make us avoid the crowds. He showed us the best photo spots and we had great fun on the toboggan! Upon our request, he chose a restaurant for lunch where the food was delicious. Thanks, Herbie and team!

Fantastic experience with Herbie and this company. Met us early at the airport where promised (we got out of customs earlier than expected and Herbie was there even earlier). Awesome trip to Great Wall and Forbidden City. Herbie knew all his history and explained the major dynasties, conflicts and other events in China's history and answered all the questions. Also explained lots of details I never knew about the Forbidden City even though I had visited previously. Took lots of phots of us and was a friendly, up-beat guide all the way through. They also provided thick coats for the Great Wall for us both which were clutch because it was way colder than even our jackets wouldve helped with! And - he showed us a great duck spot before taking us back to the airport. overall A+ experience exactly as advertised, super smooth, and and great time with Herbie. We went to a layover tour visiting the Tiananmen square and the forbidden city and it was really worth it, the sights are beautiful and its a good use of your time instead of waiting at the airport. Our tourguide Alice was really knowledgeable and professional. She shared a lot of interesting facts about the history of all the sights and China.

Can’t recommend enough! We got to The Great Wall for 8am, and it was incredible to see it completely empty as the sun came up

Cannot recommend this experience enough, far more than just a convenient way to kill time during a layover, it was a once in a lifetime experience that we'll never forget! Our tour guide, Herbie, was absolutely wonderful. Not only is he incredibly knowledgable but he's also so warm, friendly and funny. From educating us on the history of China, to offering great local recommendations, to taking so many photos of us - we're so so grateful to Herbie for making our experience truly unforgettable. Thank you Herbie, we'll always remember you! The organisation of the tour is also very efficient and professional, with all our emails answered within minutes. So glad we booked this tour as there's no way we would've been able to experience all the things we did if we'd tried to do it ourselves.

I just had the most amazing day with tour guide Nina on my layover on the way to Perth from Dublin ! She knew everything about the wall and the forbidden city.
