We had an amazing afternoon with our tour guide Kevin who walked us through the whole forbidden city telling us the basics but also some fun facts. He was very helpful and kind to all of us and tried to keep the 4 hours light and fun. He also was recommending all the best places to take pictures. Without a guide it would have been too chaotic. Would recommend

We had a lovely day out at the Great Wall & the Summer Palace with our guide Licia & our driver Mr. Li. Due to the National Holiday, Licia suggested to leave a bit earlier in the morning & it was absolutely worth it. No traffic getting to the Great Wall & we were one of the first people there around 8 in the morning. Amazing views & the Great Wall almost to ourselves in the beginning 😍 The boat trip and walk around Summer Palace were amazing as well and Licia shared so much interesting information about Chinese history & culture. Mr. Li is a very considerate driver, brought moon cakes and bought fresh peaches for us! We had a fantastic day & made very special memories! Thank you Licia & Mr. Li 🙏🏼

My trip was wonderful and quick and convenient because the shuttle bus picked us up at the hotel. Our driver and tour guide Mr. Xia Qinggang was very enthusiastic in taking us up to the Great Wall and was friendly. He was also very thoughtful when the car was full of drinking water, small gifts for children and drove very carefully when my family had small children. The sightseeing spot must be said to be very far from the city, if there was no this service, we would not have been able to make it in half a day if we had traveled on our own

Since we booked the tour, we were given a plenty of very detailed information (itinerary, meeting point, instructions for arriving, etc.) The day of the tour we were informed that we could not access the Tiananmen Square due to a forum held, but we were given an alternative to spend time in other location at the Forbidden City. Our tour guide (Vivian) always informed us about every detailed of the tour and all her explanations and tips (best spots to take pictures, interesting historical data, etc) were extremely useful. Finally, at the end of the tour she was helping us with any doubt regarding our Beijing visit.

I Just completed an incredible tour of the Forbidden City in Beijing, and I can't recommend our guide, Anson, highly enough. His deep knowledge of Chinese history and culture made the experience truly memorable. Anson has a captivating way of storytelling, bringing the architectural details and historical curiosities to life. He guided us through the various halls, explaining the significance of each corner and sharing fascinating anecdotes about the emperors who once lived there. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Forbidden City; you won’t be disappointed, especially with an exceptional guide like Anson. It’s an experience not to be missed!

In short: Great activity that was both fun and educational - money well spent. In detail: The booking process and organization was flawless and our tourguide Mr. Anson contacted us already beforehand to clarify the procedure (currently special situation because of the national holiday). The meeting point was easy to find and our guide was already there waiting for us. Even though a lot of visitors due to the national holiday were present, we were guided through all necessary checks without problem. During the excursion we have received lots of interesting knowledge and also several enjoyable anecdotes from the rich history of this place. Our group was small enough so that it was no problem to ask questions any time and thanks to provided wireless headphones it was no problem to understand our guide during the whole trip. His knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm made our trip very lively and memorable. Finally, we even exceeded the planned time and could see a great deal of the palace infrastructure, take lots of photos and always had the possibility to take a rest or use the toilet and in the end received instructions how to proceed so as not to get lost. Overall, money well spent and a strong recommendation from my wife and me for this activity and thanks again to our tourguide Mr. Anson.

The forbidden city is huge. The 4 hours we were there was great, I wish I have planed for a multi day tour. Kevin our tour guide, gave interesting and funny stories about the city and told us many local habits and way of the Chinese people. He was very helpful with taking pictures as well. Personally my best part of the tour when we entered the room with the old terracotta soldiers.

What a fantastic tour!! Our guide was Anson. He had lived in the USA for a few years so he was familiar with western tastes. Anson was prompt in meeting us at our hotel and as a bonus to our tour, he explained the metro to us and helped us navigate it. The food was amazing and abundant. Because I’m not as adventurous as my husband, Anson steered me to more common foods and left intestines and organ meats to my husband. I highly recommend this tour. Ask for Anson.

This tour was a great way to get to see a different prospect of Beijing and Lucy put together a great package and experience with the addition of attending an Acrobatic show and adding in some last minute shopping to suit my requirements. It’s a very different feel to watch the night come alive and a great way to see some special highlights that you would otherwise miss. Lucy and her driver were not only professional and knowledgeable, but also very accommodating to cater to my interests. I highly recommend doing this tour if your short on time or looking for a good overview of the beijing night scenery.

Our private tour guide Xia Qingguo provided us a very personalised tour of the Great Wall! He is very courteous and helpful. He made our trip with ease especially we went during the Chinese Holden week. Highly recommended especially if you are travelling with kids as his van is comfortable and he granted all our requests!

We were lucky to have Mike as our guide to the Forbidden City today. He was very knowledgeable and funny and made our trip memorable. Mike is an excellent guide and I would highly recommend his services. We are traveling across China and we took a few English guided tours, and so far Mike had been the best guide.

We really enjoyed the tour with our guide Mike and highly recommend booking a tour! Apart from his deep knowledge he was putting all his efforts to make us able to join his group at the entrance of forbidden City. We were Late initally and thanks to Mike‘s responsiveness we however had an outrageous experience at forbidden City.
