Do not spend money for other shows THIS IS THE BEST .... costumes .... music ... coreography ... lights ... waterfalls and real birds

This was our second Yangtze River experience AND we will be doing it again. SOOOO much to see and do. both previous river trips were on different vessels and each had it's own charm. If you haven't been to China this is a wonderful way to see the heart of China. Just beware of time of year because in early spring they open up the dam to reduce the water levels in anticipation to the winter snow melt. We had to be bused down stream to find suitable embarcation facilities. Still great to see the country side .

When we arrived at the airport, we easily found the person holding the China Wayz sign. He only spoke Chinese though, so he called up Michael (who was supposed to be our tour guide) and we spoke to him briefly on the phone before heading to our hotel. I’m guessing we were sent to the hotel in an Uber-like vehicle since the driver had to use his GPS to get us there. The next morning, we waited in the hotel lobby at 9AM to meet with our tour guide as planned, but due to unforeseen circumstances, someone had to take Michael’s place. Not a big deal. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, however I felt as though he seemed bored of his job and also really didn’t appreciate him smoking on the job, especially around the children. Another thing I didn’t enjoy was how many venues we were taken to for shopping. During the tour, we visited a pearl store, silk store, jade store, and tea store. Each store gave us a demo of how the products were made or used, then we were sent to the shopping area where they hoped we would make purchases of their products. One thing I think the tour company should consider changing is the order of the tour. The first day of the actual tour we visited Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and ended our night with a kung fu show in the evening. The second day we visited the Summer Palace and the Great Wall of China. The third day was visiting the hutongs. - I suggest switching the first and last day. Since we had just arrived in China the day before, we had major jet lag the first day of the actual tour. By evening time, we were exhausted, and although the kung fu show was interesting, many of us fell asleep during it. The hotel we were placed in was the Mercure Wanshang. It was about half an hour to an hour away from many of the sights, depending on traffic. Unfortunately, most of the hotel staff didn’t speak any English, but the hotel was clean, comfortable (although the bed was pretty hard), and provided an adequate breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed seeing all the sights of China and do not regret going on this tour.

Personal experience- wasted time and money First communist destroyed a lot of history now they showing what ever left and it is not very impressive ..Overpacked tour with some stops in stores you get just solicited with prices 5 times more then home . Mostly less then average same Chinese food every day , I got a fly coming out my first food in Chinese Restorant . Bad toilets 90% not European except hotels . Cabins on a cruise looks like а prison cell .Can you imagine the best impression on a tour was a show in the middle of nowhere , travel one even not mentioned but was promoted by cruise operator . You wake up at 6:00 am every morning to run whole day . As a plus was very good Chinese tour manager and some guides . You will end up paying $ 500-1000 with tips and upgrade , the tips they will tell you in the last minute .Again for me and I traveled a lot was waste of time and money but mostly time all you will see you can see in 5-7 days . Forget to say always were a huge crowds mostly Chinese tourists who are running through u ) ., but Chinese people surprisingly friendly even without English

Words cannot describe this show. Saying Riverdance meets Cirque du Soleil with some Olympic Gymnastic acrobatics thrown in, plus real waterfall, and peacocks doesn't do it justice! It was truly an amazing spectacle! By far the best of the 3 shows we saw on our trip. If you have a chance, you MUST se this incredible performance. You will not be sorry.

Golden dynasty masks dancing show is really impressive and beautiful especially with special effects with waterfalls and real peacocks ! Seats provided by China Ways are the best ones central close to the stage. Our guide Yen (Lily) was very efficient and very nice. The shopping street is nice to see and we have had the chance to see a free dancing show in the street which was very cute.

For a first trip to Asia, I would not have chosen a better option with a Tour. It was a challenge to choose China because there is so much to see and I only had few days to spend. The Tour was very helpful in the sense that the activities proposed helped to have a good overview of the touristic places in the two cities. We were able to check almost all the "must-do" on our list. The pick up at the train station was done on time. I was delighted by the choice of hotels in both Beijing and Shanghai. All facilities were made available in the hotels and a great continental breakfast :-) The tour guides were very friendly and very attentive to our needs. Sometimes they went the extra miles to help; even with request outside of their remit. We also learned a great deal about the sites we were visiting. Thank you James and Michael. Olivia

I am a frequent traveler and I’ve been with dozens of tour guides and I must say your staff are one of the best. Lily in Shanghai, Michel in Beijin and all your staff were really amazing. They were really kind, polite and their smiles never fade away no matter how weird my questions were 😅 they were glad to give full information about everything and never get bored. It was a very lovely tour. You would just love it. In this tour, I had the chance to see China's history, natural beauties, and modern cities. The tour guides were excellent, especially Michael in Beijing and Jackie in Shanghai.

It was a tremendous performance! I highly recommend it to everybody. What you see in this show is worth much more than its price.

I booked this tour on April. Although the weather was hot but it was one of the amazing and memorable trip I have ever had. Attractive view of Asian history was incredible. The Hotel was beyond my expectations. China Wayz leader professionally handled our tour and everything was totally in order. I 'll Definitely come back again :)

hotel was really 4 star international. tour guides specially Micheal in Beijing was so friendly. all the things was exactly as what i had read on the tour faculties china was great and i hoe to come back again i loved the great wall part and i wished i had more time spending there , Xian was fantastic and the Xian wall was also a good art specially the cycling on the wall was so nice and i really believe this 2 cities is the most historical art of china

the Chinese tour guide told me that if you missed it you miss china and it was really like a dream and he was right. also the price was reasonable include visiting wangfujing street

This tour was a very pleasant experience for me with a very good price. I couldn't believe that I will get the exact same service to be honest, but the hotel was great, and the service was exactly as it claimed. My tour guide Lisa was very caring and knowledgeable.
