It was absolutely wonderful! Our tour guide Jay was the BEST, knew all the best photo spots and could answer literally any question we had a out the square, the city and China! I would highly recommend this tour as you get in seamlessly and Jay made sure we were comfortable every step of the way (with lots of fun facts!) thank you for wonderful tour!

Lucy, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There was a problem with entrance to the Forbidden City, which was handled swiftly, and seemed to be affecting all foreign visitors. Both the Square and the City were fascinating to visit and the tour was good value for the price. Highly recommended.

We take the tour to Simatai Big Wall side at Night + Gubei Water Town, the private tour was awesome, very confortable SUV just for us, very professional driver. I had a really tremendous visit to the Summer Palace. My guide Anson was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and shared with me some excellent insights. He was also very conscientious and escorted me back to the metro whilst providing me with options for activities later that day. The palace and grounds are wonderful and provided some stunning views and photo opportunities as well as a fascinating historical perspective on the qing dynasty. A beautiful addendum to any visit to Beijing. Details about Chinese opera really blew me away!

We had a great experience with the Beijing Hutong food walking tour. Walking through the Hutongs was interesting, giving us a taste of how ancient China used to be. Our guide Lucy was very personable. She asked our food preferences and dietary restrictions. She gave us insight into China history and the cultural background of the food we were eating. The tour brought us to places and allowed us to experience flavors of Beijing we would never find on our own. She also went out of her way to give us recommendations and directions for things we wanted to eat after the tour. She also offered for us to ask her any questions we had during our stay in Beijing. We would definitely recommend the Beijing private Hutong food walking tour and Lucy to anyone looking to visit the Hutongs and experience Beijing’s wonderful food culture.

We had a great tour with Vivian and learned a lot about the Forbidden City and Beijing. The Forbidden City is a must see while in Beijing and the private tour made it more interesting and exciting. Vivian also took a ton of great photos of us and knew all the best photo spots. I am glad we splurged on the private tour as the bigger tours looked pretty slow and it would be annoying to have to wait for so many people. It also seems like it would be hard to keep up and hear everything given how crowded it is.

The tour was great! Miko just made it even better. From the very first moment he did his best to improve my experience. Everything was well organized and he could explain all the history behind the city.

We did a private hutong and riksha tour. Our guide Miko was very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We had a great day! We visited different hutongs, touristy and non touristy. Also we went to the bell tower. The tour endes with a fun riksha ride We especially liked hearing more about day to day Chinese life, chatting and discussing about the cultural differences and learning about this from Miko.
