Prompt and clear communication by e-mail. We booked and payed in advance and unfortunately our flight was delayed by 24 hours and the time in Beijing was shorter than planned. The guide and driver adapted and met us the day after, they also took us to another part of the wall to make the tour faster. Not only did that save our tour, we were also the only ones at that part of the wall. The guide brought fruit and jackets for us and were very considerate in general. This was in December 2018, still a found memory.

I have spent my layover in Bijing and booked a tour with Jenny to the Great Wall.
Jenny drove me to the Great Wall and had a pleasent discussion with her.

I had an 11 hour layover in Beijing so I booked a driver to pick me up at the airport, take me to Mutianyu Great Wall, and bring me back to the airport. Little did I know that I miscalculated the time difference and gave them the wrong date (a day earlier). I arrive and called to let them know I could not find my driver (this is when I realized my error). They sent a driver out, who arrived within 25 minutes of my call ! His name was Bill (same driver who waited for me 3 hrs a day earlier). He was beyond professional, friendly, even offered me coffee in the car to drink. He drove past the ticket house and shuttle area and parked close to the actual entrance to the Great Wall. He walked me to the ticket booth, helped me purchase the chair lift and toboggan tickets, and waited for me for 2 hours while I was walking the Great Wall. Amazing service, can't recommend him enough. Thank you Bill!!!
