Nina was a brilliant guide. We had the best time during our layover!! The tour is very much worth booking, it'll be a forever memory for me and my brother.

We had a great tour with Tony. We met in the airport right on time and managed to reach the Great wall early in the morning to be able to see it without people. Thanks a lot and we can only recommend him!

Trip was a gift, which required a final payment on the day. Sadly I didn’t know about this and this had a negative effect on the trip with constant reminders throughout the day. (This was sorted by an easy transfer). Then constant discussions on the tip. (Despite the USd250 one day tour fee!). Tour guide Jackson was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and easy to get along with. Driver Wang was very professional and courteous.

Tour guide never showed up! Called him and he had no idea about the tour running..? What kind of travel website and tour operator, can not provide their essestial service. So so poor. Completely ruin my trip to bejing and dream of going to the great wall 😔

Jenny is an awesome guide! She made me feel very welcome and went out of her way to make sure I had a special experience. We spotted a group of hockey players playing on a frozen reservoir below the Great Wall. I had my hockey gear and was able to join in. What an experience!

First, I want to give credit to William, our guide. He was a wonderful guide. We learned so much from him and he was overly kind and helpful to us. We enjoyed our time along the wall so very much. It was a great experience. We were all hungry by the end and he brought us to a great place to get dumplings, which were delicious. We made it to the airport with enough time to check-in and relax before our flight. The airport can be hectic and confusing to newcomers, so he took the time to make sure we ended up in the right place to check-in, which was above and beyond what we expected. If you have a day to spend in Beijing, you will not regret booking a tour with this group. In fact, we would do it again!

Overall, I cannot recommend this tour enough! The guide is very professional and takes care of every single detail. The additional warm clothing provided was much needed! His friendliness and complete historical background information (in highly skilled English) made this a very pleasant experience. If you happen to have a longer layover in Beijing (8+ hrs), don’t hesitate to make this trip. It was a great experience. Thanks, Willy!

I did this layover tour with my husband and we actually tried to do it earlier in the year but due to a flight delay had to initially cancel- they fully refunded our tour that time which was very seamless and helpful. When we finally got to do the tour Nov 2019 we had a great time. Our tour guide, Alice Ji, was excellent. She was easy to find at the airport, spoke impeccable English, and was accompanied by a very efficient, but safe, and warm driver. We saw both the Great Wall and Forbidden City on our tour which was awesome. We were able to fit everything in in a relatively short about of time but never felt rushed. Highlight of the trip was tobogganing down the Great Wall which was super fun. Alice was also really great about taking photos for us at all of the most scenic parts. Would highly recommend this tour, and especially Alice if you are so lucky to get her!

During our 8 hours layover in Beijing Capital Airport (PEK) we had a great short tour to Mutianju Great Wall. Just a short and very interesting 90 minutes drive from and to the airport. Very nice English speaking staff. My contact person Adela took great care of me up-front by email and answered all my questions. I transferred a pre-payment by Paypal and paid the rest in Euros including the lift up to the wall. Next time we will visit Beijing city center with Layover Tour Beijing.

In the beginning i was skeptical about this tour. But after i met Leiju everything became clear, that i made right choice. I had great time, really enjoyed my stop in China! Highly recommend!

Loved our short trip to Great Wall of China guided by William. It was a very pleasing experience and very smooth. Will picked us up at Starbucks and gave us water and snacks and beer and took us to Great Wall. He guided us via cable car and back via slide called Tobogan. He also took lot of pictures of us and with us. We enjoyed every moment of it. I would definitely recommend each of my friends to hire this tour guide.

We had an 8 hour layover in Beijing & decided to book this trip last minute the night before. Willy was super accommodating and was able to provide us with all of the information we needed quickly. Our initial flight into Beijing was also delayed, but Willy still planned everything out perfectly so we still had ample time to do the tour and be back at the airport. Water bottles and snacks were provided in the car, so this was super nice! In addition, Willy is so awesome! He's a great English speaking guide and overall just an interesting and knowledgeable person. He was able to answer all of our questions and I feel like I learned a lot about Chinese history and culture. It was also freezing in Beijing, but thankfully Willy had jackets for us to wear! He's also a great photographer and took lots of photos for us. He even made a short video with all of our pictures. This tour was definitely worth it!! Not only were we able to sneak in one more amazing site before heading home, but we also learned a lot too!

I had almost a 15h layover at Beijing so I was looking for something nice to do with my time. The guys at "Layover Tours Beijing" were quite reactive to answer back given that I asked them with really short notice (like the day before) if they were available to organize something. They provided me with an English speaking guide, William. I actually landed at the new Daxing airport, and my connection flight later that day was at the old capital airport. William was kind enough to come pick me up directly at the Daxing airport and later dropped me off at the old one. He drove me to Mutianyu to see the great Wall, got some really great pictures! The guide was really cool and we had some interesting conversations during the drive to get there (about 1h45m). Fully recommend this experience if you have a long layover at Beijing!

I am a solo traveler female and had a long layover in Beijing and I hired this company for a tour at the Great Wall. Jonny picked me up at my hotel around 7am since I arrived in Beijing at 1am from Japan and had to go back to New York by lunch. It was a short tour but he was able to show me the Great Wall and took very nice pictures he walked me back to airport left me on the line if my airlines for me to check my bags. He was very nice, offered me water and was very kind. Spoke good English! I highly recommend Jonny and this company. I had a great time.
