Had a great tour of Gubei Water Town & Simatai Section of the Great Wall at night! Because it's winter, both attractions had very few people which we liked. I'm sure during warmer months there would be more of a crowd. James was a great tour guide who showed us the highlights of both. We did a multi-day trip in Beijing & Xi'an and used Catherine Lu Tours for all our time there. Great tour company and guides, we highly recommend them!

We spent two great days with an awesome tour guide Sonnie touring highlights of the Beijing area such as the The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace. Sonnie was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly! We highly recommend Catherine Lu Tours ! We'd use them again for sure. Ask for Sonnie, she's fantastic and knows all the perfect photo spots!

We had an amazing time! Our tour guide was Sumin Iris. She speaks Spanish and english. Thus, she explained everything to us very clearly. We learned a lot from the culture and history. In addition, she helped us navigate the train and bus system. We really appreciated her help, company and knowledge.

Had a fantastic tour of the Terracotta Warriors, Xi'an City Wall and the Muslim Quarter with John! John was extremely knowledgeable and took some great pictures of us as well. It was a long day trip from Beijing but so worth it. If you can, spend the night in Xi'an. Seeing the Warriors was definitely bucket list item checked! As an added bonus we had a chance to meet one of the brothers who discovered them in 1974 while digging a well.

If you're wondering whether you should go to the Great Wall at Jinshanling in December, you absolutely should. This trip was the highlight of my 3-day trip to Beijing. My guide Justin was super flexible, knowledgeable, and fun! I plan to return to Beijing one day and see more of the wall with Justin. He also got me some extra duck soup from the restaurant for me to take back to the hotel LOL.

We are fortunately to have Lisa as our tour guide and Lu Shang ( driver ) for our day tour. Lisa is very informative and knowledgeable and make each spot very interesting. She is generous with her sharing of the history of each attraction. Lu Shang is a careful and attentive driver. His minibus is clean and spacious. He is always there to ensure your comfort and safety during the ride.

I had an excellent tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City with Michael today. He shared a lot of interesting historical and cultural knowledge with me and I would strongly recommend it.

Excellent tour. Tons to see and take in. Nearly endless amounts of fascinating things to see everywhere you turn. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and weather appropriate clothing. It can be a long day if you don't.
