About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- V6680HIpeterm0 contributionsWarning: Avoid Ticket Scams for the Forbidden City! This is a scam—do not book these tickets! They are not valid at the Forbidden City's ticket office. EU travelers can easily purchase tickets at 'Ticket Service 3' without the need for advance booking. After multiple emails, the supplier has refused to refund my money and has stopped responding altogether.Written September 29, 2024

- 8CMc80 contributionsRecommended 2 day tour of Bejing.Highly recommend the 2 day tour with Leo's Guide & Driver Service. We were a group of 8 with 2 small children visiting Bejing for the first time. We were picked up from our hotel by the driver and Jenny our guide, and then saw all the agreed sites within the 2 days. Jenny was a great tour guide. She was very informative and able to answer all of our questions relating to the sites we visited. Jenny was also great with the kids and was also able to provide us with a range of really helpful information about navigating our trip around China. She was also able to alter the trip slightly to meet the specific requests of the group. The Great Wall trip, the summer palace and all the places visited were a must for our trip to Bejing. Thank you to the tour company and Jenny. Added to this Leo's Driver service was also able to arrange a taxi service four our large group from the train station and to the airport at the end of the trip. This was all done incredibly effeciently and to a high standard. Would highly recommend.Written July 30, 2024

- 963soniai0 contributionsExhilarating and unforgettable - see all three.Seeing the 3 separate sections of the Great Wall made our experience unforgettable. Huanghuacheng incorporated the lake with challenging and breathtaking climbs and views of the wall. (Easier walk option available as well). Very few tourists. Even more challenging was Xiangshuihu, the climb at times seemed vertical, amazing to think of the effort and suffering that would have gone in to building this magnificent, “wonder of the world”. Again very few tourists. At Mutianyu on the other hand we spent more time queuing but it didn’t seem so bad given what we had already enjoyed. Our guide Peter, was very helpful and accommodating. Thank youWritten July 16, 2024
- FellowTraveler1715170 contributionsA Relaxing and informative way to see the sights of BeijingWe booked a private one day tour through Leos, to see the Summer palace, the Forbidden city and Tiananmen square. Macy and the Driver Mr Pan arrived at our address promptly and notified us of their arrival, and told us to take our time, and make sure that we had everything that we would need for the day including our passports. Macy was friendly, informative and made us all feel at ease from the first moment that she introduced herself to us. During the first part of the tour to the Summer palace, we decided that we wanted to change the schedule to skip the Tiananmen square element of the tour and instead end with a visit to Jingshan park. Macy was fine with our plans, and quickly made arrangements with Mr Pan the driver to change our itinerary. They then went out of their way to take a route through Tiananmen square to allow my daughter to see the square. Whilst doing so Macy gave us a great run down of the history and significance of the square. It was a very enjoyable day out with Macy and Mr Pau going out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed, and to ensure that we got the most out of the day. I would thoroughly recommend Macy and Mr PanWritten June 22, 2024
- Christine H0 contributionsGubei Water Town ExperienceMy driver Ken from Leo’s private tour was wonderful and helped provide us with an unforgettable experience at Gubei water town. He was very flexible and allowed us to extend our journey to ensure we received more time at Gubei water town and provided my partner with soothing balm for mosquito bites he received during the day. Ken was also very knowledgeable about Beijing and provided us with many recommendations for the rest of our stay. Gubei water town and Simatai Great Wall were absolutely breathtaking and worth the 2hr drive out of central Beijing. There are many delicious street food stalls, interesting cultural performances and souvenir stalls. It is also not very crowded, making for a peaceful experience. We had an amazing time. Thank you Ken and Leo.Written June 21, 2024

Communicated with Leo via Wechat about the trip, and Leo kept us informed and up to date with all of the details. Peter our driver was polite and professional. We arrived and left early to avoid the crowds, and it's something that I would strongly advise other travellers to do, especially during the peak summer periods or on public holidays.Written June 19, 2024

- superanhita0 contributionsThis private guided tour made a huge difference when we visited BeijingWe are a family of five with three children aged 6, 14 and 17. We booked a private tour in Beijing with our excellently Knowledgeable and professional guide Snow. She gave us so much insight into the different places we visited and it made a whole difference in understanding everything. She interacted patiently and kindly with our boys. That was very important to us that they would not get bored. She also gave us recommendations on what else to see and visit in Beijing. The local restaurant she recommended us was super delicious and she made sure that the people working there understood us. Definitely 100% recommendable. Ask for Snow when you book a tour with Leo. The next day Our English speaking driver Bibber took us to the Jinshanglin Great Wall section to avoid the big crowds, especially during the long weekend of the Tomb Sweeping Holiday Qingming. It was much further away but all worth it. The scenery was awe dropping and even though there were a lot of people it was all manageable and definitely much better than Mutianyu or Badaling. We enjoyed our over 2 hour walk a lot and were especially happy about the blossoming peach trees around us. Bibber was very friendly and communicative. Absolutely recommendable!Written April 10, 2024
- Jessica v0 contributionsPrivate tour to the Chinese Wall MutianyuPrivate tour to the Great Wall of China with Mr Ping. We were picked up early so we were one of the first on the wall. Mr Ping picked us up on time at 7am we arrived just after sunrise. Mr. Ping explains where the best photo spots are and waits for you until you have finished walking on the Great Wall of China. No rush at all, you have plenty of time. Very nice service and can recommend it to everyone. Thank you and maybe see you next time Mr. PingWritten March 24, 2024

It’s a bit of a drive.
All three sites are quite enjoyable and quite different.
The caves are beautiful.
The museum is awe inspiring.
The bridge is historically significant.
Maybe not the first tour I would book in Beijing but would include it if you have the time.
