The tour was well planned in terms of itinerary and timing. All the 3 guides in Shanghai, Xian and Luoyang are very knowledgeable, patient and accommodating to request. Contact person Sophia was very responsive and efficient. Drivers drive in good comfortable EV cars and the rides are smooth and safe. Hotels chosen by the tour agency are all very good in location, all very near the shopping streets. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience in China.

Ann's guidance was excellent. Exploring the ancient towns filled with rich history and culture was a delight. The tour was truly eye-opening. The standout accommodation of the trip was the remarkable Pig Inns, a disused oil mill turned five-star hotel.

We had our private tour from Nov 17th to Nov 22nd, 2024 organised by China Xian Tour Agency. My first contact with Sophia Liu was via several emails stating our preferences i.e. places of interest, foods, type of accommodation (i.e. hotels (4 stars and above) and most importantly a relaxing program. Sophia was very helpful to revert with the program relatively fast and met our preferences. We confirmed the program and paid the required payment. Our arrival at Xian was almost midnight. The assigned driver was waiting for us at the airport exit gate. He was very helpful, patience and caring. He has bought some local snacks for us fearing may be hungry. Kudos to him! Our assigned guide in Xian was Noble Liu. He is a Xian homegrown guy and very knowledgeable on the history of the places we went. He was kind to bring us to places for foods where the local eat. e.g biang biang noodles, rou jia mo (Chinese pork burger/sandwich) amb skewers, hot and sour soup noodles, pao mo (pita soup with lamb). We really loved these foods. Noble also recommended to go for a show Xian Silk Road:Legend of Camel Bell. It is live show with Tang dynasty dance, culture, life style art, religion history. You see real camels Sevrral wolves jump and run through the platform from audience area. The stage set is revolving around the arena so that the whole stage set is constantly changing. Amazing show. Note this was not part of our itinerary. We really appreciate Noble`s recommendation. Both Noble and the driver were very accommodative to our requests. Our Luoyang tour began taking the high speed train from Xian North Station. The Driver picked us from the hotel at 6.00am to the train station. We were met at the Luoyang Station by our guide, Ms Cecilia. We headed for lunch at a big restaurant. The foods was delicious. Thereafter, we began to the Shaolin Monastery and watched the Shaolin kung fu performance. This is located in Dengfeng. Cecilia is also a homegrown Luoyang resident. She is very knowledgeable, patience and understanding. We covered Lobgmen Grottoes, White horse temple, Luoyang Museums, Luoyang Old City. The old city streets are really ancient and full of street foods. Cecilia is also very caring. She really took the trouble by following us into the Luoyang Train Station which she has to convinced the Security personnel to allow her to do so. We were highly appreciative of her kind gesture. Overall, we were very happy and satisfied with the whole tour organised by Xian China Tour. Both the guides, drivers were accommodative, punctual and deserve thumbs up! I recommend to engage with China Xian Tour if you are planning to visit Xian. Excellent!

I wanted to arrange a private tour for 4 people to travel from Xian to Zhangye, Dunhuang and then to Huashan and Louyang. Kelly's recommendations were excellent and the private car /drivers were very good for places that we do not require a guide and the places where we had guides, the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. (Mr Xiao who drove us from Zhangye to Dunhuang is definitely a "fan" favourite for patiently waiting while we were hiking for hours and Mr Liu for his humour but not forgetting his camouflage people-carrier which was our favourite vehicle because we could spot him from far away!) There was a mix up with booking entrance tickets on one day but this was resolved and they made it up in a professional manner and for me, mistakes do happen but the way it was handled was very well done. My tip: always double check everything is in order every 3-4 days for the coming days as confirmed as you go along your trip to avoid anything being missed. Other than that, just enjoy and ask questions if in doubt because Kelly and her colleagues are always helpful and responds very fast. Great service and suggestions. A big thumbs up to Kelly for helping arrange an unforgettable holiday.

Excellent tour today with Ken, and I'd highly recommend. I was in Xi'an on business, and took a day before flying back to the U.S. for touring. I couldn't have selected a better tour guide! He was knowledgeable in the history, interesting factoids, expertly navigated us through the crowds, and at a pace without me feeling rushed. A plus, was his English was excellent and it felt more like a conversation than a script he memorized. I could ask questions on China and Xi'an, culture, environment, etc., and he was able to provide the information. We toured the Terra Cotta Warriors and Bampo Museum, plus a stop for lunch for Biang Biang and tea tasting. Fascinating. Ken also helped me arrange for a car the next day for the airport (at half the cost of the hotel), and suggested items to bring home for my friends and grandkids.

The visit to the Terracotta Warriors is a must while visiting China, an extraordinary experience that you will never forget. Our guide Nobel was outstanding, knowledgeable, and friendly. He gave us invaluable information and local tips. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Wonderful experience with China Xian Tour. From start to finish it was a breeze. Our travel consultant, Sophia, was quick in her responses and flexible to accommodate all our request for a 5-day trip at Xian. The arrangement consultations with her were done with ease, and she corresponded well in English. Although our enquiry was made earlier in the year, she follows thru diligently, when we reconnected with her and executed the booking promptly. For the trip Kai our guide & Mr. Wu did a wonderful job. Kai, patiently walked thru the historical facts of the Tang dynasty for each Point of Interest. On the last day, when we have some time to spare, he made special arrangement for us to watch Legend of the Camel bell at the Xi'an silk road theatre. The show was spectacular with live animals participating in the performance. Our driver, Mr. Wu was extremely accommodating. Always early, careful and never hesitate to drop us off at shopping malls & food street after each day. We can see that he is an experience driver as he ensures that ride comfort is the priority. Overall, we had a pleasant experience with the team at China Xian Tours which made our visit a memorable one.

Had such a lovely tour with this company where everything can be customized based on your time and what you and your loved ones would like to do. Our guide Henry Li from Chengdu was very thoughtful and informative. He had a lot of knowledge and was very thorough throughout our trip. He was kind and respectful. Grace, our trip consultant agent, who helped us plan out our trip was also great. Communication was fast! Campbell, our guide from Chongqing was also very friendly, filled with energy and has a great sense of humor. Overall, I would book again with them!

I originally booked with a freelance guide/driver found on TripAdvisor but decided last minute to use this travel agency because their prices were only slightly more and included a driver and a guide. The price included all of the entrance ticket fees too. I worked with Rui for pre-planning and she was extremely patient and knowledgeable. She answered all my emails very quickly and helped me rearrange my itinerary to ensure that I was able to see all of the sites on my list and also catch a food tour I booked separately the first evening. I decided last minute to book the Tang show Song of Everlasting Sorrow at Huaqing Palace and she was able to get me tickets in Zone A central though they were sold out online. I was picked up at the airport by my guide for the first day, Helen, and my driver for the 3 days Mr. Zhang Hongtao. Helen has been a guide for many years and is very passionate about sharing information. The only small issue we had was that I walk really fast and was afraid I would kill her with my speed. The last two days, my guide was Summer. Summer was a wonderful guide. She shared a lot of information and was very easy to get along with. She also helped adjust the tour a little bit based on what made the most sense. We had plenty of time to see all of the sites and she was so good at finding the best spots for photos. She's also very sweet and patient too, anything you ask for, she'll help. For example, I wanted to try the little persimmon that's local to Xi'an and she helped me choose the best location to buy and I got the best price too. Those little persimmon were delicious! So much sweeter than the larger ones I've had. The driver Mr. Zhang was one of the best drivers I’ve ever had. After airport pickup, he recommended reversing the order of the sites due to highway exit closure. Both the guide and I were a little hesitant but it turned out he was right. If we had followed the original plan we would’ve had to reroute 30-40 minutes and my schedule was already tight. His driving skills were great and when I was running late the first day for my food tour, he somehow managed to get me there on time and safely. In addition, after dropping me off at the meetup spot he delivered my luggage to the hotel for me! He stayed late the night I saw the Tang Show and when he saw how cold I was, he pulled over to pour me hot water from his super sized thermostat. He was so considerate and was always waiting for us at the best pick-up spot during the 3 days. He also picked a restaurant near the Terracotta soldiers museum and the food was fantastic! His car was also very clean and though I know he smoked, I never once smelled cigarette smoke in the car or coming from him either. I highly recommend this agency and this combination of driver/guide for Xi'an.

Ken was amazing and fun. We walked through the Muslim quarter and through backstreets I wouldn’t have found on my own. We saw hand stretched noodles made and tried several different disused like soup dumplings, very tasty kebabs and loads of deserts! Could not recommend more for foodies!

It was an amazing & enjoyable trip specially catered for my group of 20 travellers. All whom are at their senior age. The oldest is 80 years old. Thanks to China Xian Tour for making all necessary arrangements & ensurance of their service throughout our trip. The tour guides & drivers were very helpful, accommodating and patient. We are very happy with their recommendation on everyday meals! My group & I indeed have an enjoyable & unforgettable trip.

Beautiful sceneries and views. From lowest 1800’ to highest 3600’ ASL, we have excellent driver and experienced & knowledge guide to take us from one amazing place to another! Different local tribes from Dali to Lijiang to Shangri-La where we experienced different cultures, customs & costumes.

The driver Mr Yang was very helpful & friendly. He helped to research places we could visit, and shared with us. He was also willing to spend extra time just to make sure we really enjoyed our experience.

Henry, on the other hand, was our Tour Guide in Jiuzhaigou who's a true Tibetan and fun Tour Guide that added lots of laughters during the trip. I highly recommended China Xian Tour and applaud how they orchestrated the whole trip. Thumps up!
