We were able to communicate very well with his translation app. He was very helpful and polite. He had enough water for us with him for the journey and the way to the wall and the air conditioning made the journey very pleasant. We got a few tips from Yu Yongtai and then hiked up the wall. The view was breathtaking. The section of the wall was not crowded at all and we hiked for three hours on the restored and unrestored parts of the wall. Afterwards, Yu Yongtai drove us back to our hotel. It was a trip that we can only recommend!Written July 19, 2024

Had an amazing time today with this activity! We went together with 6 friends and had Mr Tian (田伟) as private driver. He was very friendly and accommodating. He helped us buy the tickets, dropped/picked all of us at our different hotel locations and even offered us some water and Coca Cola in his car. The place itself is also stunning ! A must visit if you’re around. We highly recommend to have Mr Tian as driver if you’re planning to go.

Mr Zhang our driver is very nice and polite. On the way to Gubei town, he shared with us how Gubei town was built and many other information about China. Though it was a 2 hours car ride but it was enjoyable. Very informative and interesting. We really enjoyed ourself.

This trip couldn’t be any better. We were picked up exactly on time by the lovely Mr Xia. He kindly waited a few minutes for us too, no stress. He was very informative and relaxed, and made us feel comfortable from the beginning: driving was perfect, he gave us water and fresh fruit, neck pillows in case we wanted to sleep, and let me connect my music and charge my phone. Dreamy! So we arrived super prepared for the wall.
He simply gives you a QR code that gets you into the water town, which you walk through to access the cable car that takes you to the wall. The QR code gets you the cable car ride there and back too. All included, stress free, and if you need photos taken of you and your crew, Mr Xia will help with that too! You’ll get his phone number and you can text him when you’re ready to meet again for the comfy drive home. We stayed in Beijing Wangfujing region, and it took exactly 2 hrs to get to Simatai, bit quicker on the way back.
We took 1 hour hiking on the wall and 3 hours strolling around the town, seeing the light show and music, shopping and eating. The food was good too! And the views, well my photos don’t capture the beauty of being there. Get ready for the best trip of your life. Thanks Mr Xia and Qing who helped us arrange this trip! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Hola! Quería saber si es posible la recogida en el aeropuerto de Beijing y realizar el tour, en una escala de 12horas. Terminando el tour de nuevo en el aeropuerto. ¿se puede comenzar a las 18h, usar el teleférico por la noche y ver la muralla desde ahí? Muchas gracias!
