The drive out from Beijing was pleasant & uneventful- whilst the drive Back was horrendous.
Poor driving - swapping lanes @ will for no gain was painful & nauseas
Our guide couldn’t shut up - All he wanted to talk about was the Ming Dynasty & didn’t or wouldn’t discuss the current political situation @ all.
Was condescending & used his phony I American accent every time he spoke to or with us.
Didn’t use it @ all when he was on the phone to Chinese people.
He also kept sneaking off to have a cigarette..
This trip does Not Need a guide - A driver - Yes - But not a guide.
The trip is very worthwhile- using a driver - Google the info you need online & purchase your Cable car tickets on line.

Dear friend, thank you for your review. We are sorry that our service didn't meet your satisfaction, we will try our best to improve our services in the future.
We offered two options for this tour, transfer only or tour with guide and transfer. If you are interested in history, want to know the details about the attraction and hope someone who speaks English accompany you around the area. It is important to have a tour guide. However if you want to walk around on your own, just to see the area , you can choose the transfer option.
We require our tour guide to explain the histories and stories during the tour ,so we are sorry you are not appreciate. Regarding the political situation, we are not allowed to discuss that, especially what you have said is very different than the real situation here, different people have different option regarding the political.
Please consider English is our second language, we learnt English in China with our Chinese teacher, we are sorry that your tour guide's accent is not Australian. When talking in Chinese ,of course can not make American accent. haha...
