What an enjoyable experience to visit these famous sites together with a local. Kim is passionate about her city, very knowledgeable, and a pleasant person to spend a day with. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. I took away some unforgettable impressions of this historic town and some exquisite teas to enjoy at home. Thank you Kim!

Thank you Joyce for a wonderful day. As a return visitor to Beijing, with a first time visitor as my companion, I was pleased to be able to customize the day. You catered for all our needs - even finding us a hot pot place for lunch in Hutong. I was very impressed with the quality of the car and driver also. I would recommend a custom tour (and Joyce) to new comers to Beijing and anyone who has been before and wants a different type of experience. Joyce’s knowledge of the Forbidden City was fabulous.

The tour made it very easy to see everything we wanted in a busy 2 days. The driver and tour guide, Justin, made the day feel seamless. We recommend it.

My parents, my husband and I did this tour with Joyce and she was great! She was knowledgeable and was able to personalize the tour to our needs. The company and Joyce are HONEST and extremely easy to work with. The day we went, we weren't able to do the rickshaw ride and they gave us some money back which is amazing for any tour group. Thank you Catherine Lu Tours!

We booked a day tour with Catherine Lu Tours - what a great experience! First, the team was very professional and flexible with our booking as our plans and dates were changing. We were really impressed with the kindness of the service.
On the tour itself, we got to visit the Forbidden city and surrounding area with Eran - a terrific guide and a wonderful person (Thanks again Eran!). He was very knowledgeable, passionate and very fun to be with.
We would recommend to use Catherine Lu's services anytime! Have a great visit!

It is a full days tour, but since it is private, you may just let the guide know by when you need to be back at your hotel.
We stopped at 4pm because I had a business meeting at 5pm. Otherwise, the guide would have continued until 5pm.
