- mightflav0 contributionsImpressive views and excellent guide!Beijing truly comes alive at night, offering a whole new perspective on the city. This tour took me through all the key landmarks, each more stunning under the evening lights. Albert, my guide, was not only incredibly friendly but also knowledgeable and engaging, making the experience both fun and insightful. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Beijing after dark!Written October 15, 2024
- dales1590 contributionsGood GuidanceWe enjoyed our visit to this temple, our tour guide was gracious and knowledgeable without which you miss or not understand a lot of what is thereWritten October 13, 2024
- Stephen A0 contributionsLucy Yue gave us a wonderful day of eating and exploring temples in Beijing!Lucy Yue was so friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to an excellent dim sum restaurant before a wonderful walking tour of the Lama and Confucius temples. Plus she taught us how to use the metro and how to use alipay! Thank you Lucy Yue!Written October 12, 2024
- yinhueil0 contributionsWonderful experience at the Great WallWe had a great day with Edward and Mr Zhang. Edward shared the history and stories behind The Great Wall, and a lot of information about Beijing and China. We had a comfortable ride to conserve our energy to climb the stairs and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. I highly recommend this tour.Written August 30, 2024
- 405devonl0 contributionsVery Good Tour of the Lamastery and tasty DimSumPrompt pick up at our hotel with a very nice minivan and excellent driver. Our guide was very sweet and answered all our questions, but sometimes the answers were a little difficult to follow. The Dim Sum breakfast was very tasty, and the Lamastery was interesting, and our guide tried to explain to us what each individual area meant, and showed us how to light the incense and say a prayer to the Buddhas. We definitely recommend the tour, but comparing it to the tour we had later that day which was a foodie tour through the Houtongs we can only give this one a 4 star rating. It was "very good" but not excellent.Written July 2, 2024
- diogog9890 contributionsGreat local food experience. This was a great opportunity to experience local food outlets and learn about the history of the hutongs. Our guide Anson was excellent. Highly recommended!Written June 17, 2024
- TomK41870 contributionsGreat experienceThe tour guide was knowledgeable and we went through the tour at a very comfortable pace. The tour guide was very detailed in guiding us where to meet and how to get to the venue.Written May 23, 2024
- fawnu20240 contributionsAmazing tour with Alice and Li YangBing! We had an amazing time on this tour! Everything ran smoothly and our tour guide was very knowledgeable on Chinese history. She answered all of our questions and took a lot of pictures for us. Our tour guide’s name is Alice, and we would definitely recommend her to everyone. We had a dim sum lunch and Alice knew exactly what to order for us! We chose the option with a private car, and it’s definitely worth it. Our driver Li YangBing was very personable and chatted with us in Chinese during our drive. He was very professional and told us he often drives foreigners around Beijing.Written May 22, 2024
- stuartjaneb0 contributionsSo glad to organise an event tht everyone was pleased by.......If ever there was a venue whose menu perfectly fits its ambience this is it! Sixteen of us sat down to celebrate joint 40th birthdays and the whole experience couldn't have been bettered. There's not a vast choice but from the small plates ( butterfly prawns, sausage bites, mac and cheese, etc.) through to mains (burgers, tacos, salt beef sarnies, pizzas ) it was perfection. We'd pre ordered ,being a large party, and having arrived as planned at 1230hrs and ordered drinks our food was served on the dot of 1245hrs, as agreed. We were a diverse group from 2 to septuagenarian and everyone thought it was great. We'll be back again and from the compliments flying about so will all our guestsWritten May 18, 2024
- nataliakQ4967LX0 contributionsMust see!We had a wonderful time on this trip and it’s so worth the one-on-one tour guide! We toured with Edward and our driver Mr. Gao, and they gave us interesting info and tidbits about Chinas history. Be prepared for a lot of steps (which is to be expected!) We also stopped at a tea house for a quick lesson and a jade shop to learn China’s history with jade.Written May 10, 2024
- alviarin990 contributionsFantastic day trip to Ming tombs and Summer PalaceWe had a great experience with Jack, it was well planned and Jack shared a lot of fascinating historical anecdotes and points of interest during the tour. The Ding tomb is the only tomb where you can enter the underground crypt and this was such an eye opener compared to my previous visit to another of the Ming tombs where it was only the aboveground portion. We were very well looked after from the point of pickup until the end of the tour, with drinking water and snacks provided in the car. The pace of the tour was just right and not tiring at all. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone keen on visiting the Ming tombs and Summer palace.Written May 7, 2024
- Travel599955339290 contributionsExcellent experience!!Today we took a shopping tour with Sherrilyn, we loved her disposition, she was entertaining and she took us to very good information to buy.. totally recommendedWritten April 10, 2024
- kiira20200 contributionsLovely layover tour with Beijing highlightsJack was an amazing guide, he showed me around Beijing and shared interesting facts about the spots we visited, everything was very easy to organize, even an airport pick up and drop off so that I could see a glimpse of the city on my long layover. 10/10, would recommend to anyone!Written April 5, 2024
- joshg4200 contributions100% worth it!Anson was amazing! When he picked us up he asked if we had eaten breakfast (we hadn’t), so he took us to an incredible local place where our breakfast came to under £2 for both of us and was incredibly tasty! After that we went to the Mutianyu and beat the crowds, he showed us all the best photo spots and took tons of us two together. Because the wall was quiet we finished it at around 11.15 and weren’t hungry, he recommended a tea house nearby which was a bonus experience! Lunch was amazing and the restaurant was also an experience within itself before then heading to the Huanguacheng tower. What a day!Written March 31, 2024

We took a day trip to the Great Wall and Art District. The trip was really interesting and gave me a great insight into not on the Great Wall but also Chinese history and culture. This was the 3rd trip to China but my first time taking a private tour and I would highly recommend this as a good way of seeing so much in a short time.

This tour was excellent. Miko greeted me and my colleague at our hotel in the morning and we were first driven to the Great Wall. Mikos english was brilliant, he was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge on both Beijing and the Great Wall. He had a great sense of humour and kept us updated with interesting facts both on the journey there and whilst at the wall. He takes photographs for you throughout the day which is an added bonus! We took the cable car up to the wall instead of walking as it saved a lot of time! The toboggan down was so much fun and definitely a must when visiting the wall! He took us to an authentic Chinese noodle bar which was very popular with the locals so we knew it was going to be good! The art district was really interesting and definitely a must see if you are visiting Beijing! After this they then drop you back at the hotel. I would definitely recommend this private tour to anyone! Thank you Miko, we will definitely be recommending his tours to our colleagues back in the UK for when they come to visit.
