    Forbidden City and Great Wall
If you have 1 tourist day in Beijing, this is just perfect. Saw Tiannanmen, Forbidden City and the Great Wall. Learned about Jade carving, enjoyed a tea ceremony and a good Chinese lunch. Guide was excellent, spoke well and knew the sites and history.

    Excellent Hike and great guide
Doing things in China can be a bit imitating because of the language but this tour company is a good choice. James the tour guide gave us all the information we needed and his times and directions were spot on. Don’t book through your hotel, as the cost will be considerably and unnecessarily higher. Only negative was when I called to confirm the time, no one ever picked up the English line after multiple tries. Nevertheless, I was stressing and didn’t need to.

    Fun but average
This review has nothing to do with the wall itself. The Great Wall is wonderful. The location at Jinshanling is amazing. Slightly touristy but not overbearing. The section of the wall is spectacular. My review of the tour is that it was average. The guider , Robert, seemed to be limited in his English speaking skills but he was friendly and helpful. Overall, we could have gotten the same experience for a few dollars more had we hired a car and driver through our hotel. The only thing that added to the experience was the family style lunch after we toured the wall.

    Fantastic experience
A truely amazing experience, hiking across the mist cloaked wall was something I will never forget, the experience would have been cheap at 4 times the price, the tour guide was great and overall this part of the wall is a must do, spectacular views, lunch was great so really nothing to fault.

    Amazing, great views.
I went with two other friends in late March 2018 and it was the highlight of our trip. It was perfect weather and the guide was awesome, he was friendly, happy to hold our stuff while we took photos, or take them for us and informed us of the history of the wall without being boring or feeding us to many facts, he was more than happy to answer our questions we had about the Great Wall. This section was a bit more expensive than the other hikes but totally worth it. There was only 3 other people in our tour from all over the world. We didn't see many people so we were able enjoy it without the crowds. We are still connected with the other people after exchanging emails after the hike. After the hike we went to a local restaurant and the tour company made sure my friends food requirements were met and the food there was exceptional (a little bit spicy but that what I was hoping for).

A must see and climb, wear trainers or good walking shoes as the wall is uneven and the steps are different heights. There is a partial hand rail but not that much benefit. The views are scenic from different heights on the wall . It can be very busy and was very warm in April. There are souvenir shops , coffee , cold drinks and food stores at the base. Toilet facilities are near.
