Overview
Beijing’s hutong alleyways are disappearing fast but a few still maintain their original atmospheric charm. Join your foodie guide on a small-group walking tour of an area untouched by gentrification and discover the wealth of breakfast foods on offer in simple street-side eateries. Try dishes such as dumplings, pancakes, yogurt, steamed buns, mung bean milk, sugared donuts, and tofu pudding. Leave full to the brim, with a new understanding of Chinese food.
