    Simply perfect, and breathtaking.
Native Safaris were super professional, on point, and delivered an experience we will remember for a life time. We had a group of 15, with age ranges from 66 years to 2 years. Our guides were amazing, accommodating, and extremely knowledgable. During the actual game drives, we were always the first on site. They knew exactly where to find the "Big Five". Their vehicles were modern, and very comfortable. Our drive from NBO was about 6 hours to the Serena Lodge and it was super comfortable. All our drivers/guides spoke perfect english. Shout out to David and Henry (our drivers) for aways going the extra mile.

    Would highly recommend!
The service was amazing and efficient from start to finish. Charity was always on hand to answer all our questions at time of booking. David and Henry our guides made sure our huge family were well looked after and we saw every animal there was to be seen in the mara, including the elusive cheetah, leopard and rhino.

It was an incredible experience and one that will stay in my memory forever. All this was only possible due to the excellent work of NAT and the best guide (Henry). Everything went well all day long. Henry proved to be an excellent professional, very concerned, super attentive, kind and playful. Thank you very much for everything and congratulations for the excellent work! I recommend 👌

    Mara/Naivasha Wonderful Experience
We had an incredible trip with Native Africa Trails. Our driver David Kibe was top class, he had incredible knowledge and stories to share with us and we could not recommend him more highly!! It was a short trip during the EID break and the team were super helpful in planning our trip with places to visit, stay and general logistics. The game drives in Masai Mara were amazing and truly once in a lifetime experience. Lake Naivasha is definitely worth a visit, getting so close to the animals and integration with the people was really special. David and the team are the best!!

    Unforgettable trip with David Mwangi
I write this review while I am heading back to Nairobi after our 5 days Safari which organized by Native Africa Safari company and specifically by David “Mwangi”. and I can’t be more grateful or thankful than now. When we planned to go for safari l, we contact many companies and we chose David’s itinerary and plan because of it was diverse and include the best reserves to do safari in Kenya and Africa plus it was the most affordable price comparing to all other companies with even better accommodations options than others. Before our trip we had mixed opinions about the country and also about the weather in May ( heavy rain season) but we are thankful for David who communicated, answered and explained every questions we had about the trip. Our trip was for Masai Mata for 2 nights , one night Naivasha , and last night Nakuru .. and I highly recommend to visit each of them and will find that each reserve has its own beauty and diversity. By David’s long experience in Safari, we were able to see the big five animals and for many rounds. Also we we were lucky to see lions kill and haunt. In addition to this, we were able to see most animals babies. To be honest, I need full blog yo mention this spectacular experience and what I saw in it. Now on our way back home .. we regret that we didn’t make our safari trip more than 5 days and many of this unforgettable experience credits goes to David who make us feels home and represents a real bright image of the Kenyan people by his caring, friendly, experienced and professional attitude. And definitely.. I will back soon .. for more Safari with my new friend.. David “Mwangi” 🙏🏻

Amazing safari with a great tour guide.
We were a group of 6 friends and we really enjoyed the tour. We were picked up from the airport by David and he was just so helpful for the 4 nights and 5 days of the tour. He accommodated our every request, dietary requirements and organised Covid tests for our return flight. We saw all of the "big 5" animals and this was due to David's patience and knowledge of where the animals would be located. Great value for money - the Zebra plains hotel was fantastic. Would recommend the entire tour to anyone! 5 out of 5 stars!!!!

    Personalised safari holiday in Kenya
Incredible holiday - adventure and wildlife. Native Africa Trails organised a superb trip for us. After two years of covid restrictions we wanted something exciting but it was hard to choose a safari company. After reading a lot of reviews we picked Native Africa Trails because if a recommendation and we are very happy we did. David, our guide, accompanied us from landing at the airport to dropping us back there after our trip. We visited multiple sites and stayed in two lovely hotels, recommended by our guide. For me, the highlight was the for days we spent in the Masai Mara. The variety of birds was astonishing (I am a keen twitcher) and the chance to see so many wild animals in their natural habitat was truly special. David's local knowledge allowed him to find the best spots to find everything we expected to see: lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, Thompson's gazelles, impala, waterbuck, hartebeest, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, water buffaloes, zebra, serval cats, jackals, and most special of all, two white rhino. David took us off road quite often to drive across the plains to help find the cats and his jeep can safely cross some challenging terrain. It was a magical holiday because of David's organisation and flexibility - he built a unique bespoke experience for us. He speaks English, Spanish, Swahili and a local tribal language fluently, communicates clearly and responds rapidly to any questions. We felt completely safe and looked after at all times. Highly recommended for excellent, reliable service.

    Native Africa Trails trip
After a lot of research, we booked a fully guided, bespoke 9 day trip with Native Africa Trails from the UK for three generations of our family. Our guide, David, picked us up from Nairobi Airport and stayed with us throughout the trip, which we had planned together. We started our holiday at the Lake Naivasha Resort, a very comfortable hotel with great food and beautiful grounds leading to the lake, where we saw giraffes and hippos. From here, our guide David took us on a series of trips including a 7km cycle ride through Hell's Gate National Park, where we saw zebras, giraffes, many different species of antelopes and birds, as well as geothermal springs and a view of the gorge. We also took a boat trip across Lake Naivasha, getting close to the hippos, stalks, pelicans and fish eagles on our way to Crescent Island National Park where we were able to walk among the animals and get close to gazelles, wildebeest, zebras and giraffes. The next day we decided to accept the challenge of a hike up Mount Longonot National Park, a dormant volcano. The views across the Rift Valley and inside the crater are truly spectacular. There is an optional extension to walk around the rim, which we chose not to do. Our guide David then drove us to the Mara Serena Safari Lodge, a luxurious hotel cleverly hidden by trees and bushes on top of a small hill on the Masai Mara. Nothing could have prepared us for the incredible wildlife spectacle of the Masai Mara. David knows the area very well and understands where the different species are likely to be found. This meant sometimes going off road across quite challenging terrain. We spent 4 nights in the Mara, taking a morning and late afternoon game drive each day. David's knowledge and determination to seek out different species meant we encountered lions four times, including a mother and 4 cubs walking and a pride feeding on a carcass. David's ability to search out wildlife led to us finding three separate leopards, two serval cats, a herd of over 200 elephants, a trio of cheetahs, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, gazelles, antelopes, many giraffes and countless birds species including eagles, vultures and ostriches. Breakfast with the hippos on the banks of the river was a real treat. At the end if our trip, David took us back to Nairobi Airport. It was the trip of a lifetime and Native Africa Trails are highly recommended to give great service and deliver a personalised trip.

    Experience of a lifetime!
Wow.. Holiday of a lifetime! Absolutely superbly organised by David from Native Africa Trails. Door to door service and there to drive and guide us the entire trip. Spent 9 days in Kenya with Native Africa Trails, 4 in the magical Masai Mara. Each day we did something different and saw ALL the animals we could ever dream of. Stunning photos, excellent food and an all around epic holiday. David knew where to spot all the animals. His knowledge was incredible. The trip was so personal and fun, travelled as a family with a small child who has made unforgettable memories.. thank you so much NATIVE AFRICA TRAILS! Would recommend to anyone wanting to make magical memories with a company you can trust with excellent value for money!

    Motivated interesting immersion
Hello, we took a 3 days Safari with this organisation a few weeks ago. The communication before the trip was very fluent and clear so that def. comforted us :) Than on the day itself we had a 6h drive to the Masai Safari-hotel, so please be aware of that… This came a bit unexpected for us since it was a long day to go trough. Although when we arrived everything was great and the staff was super helpful and kind. Also the hotel itself was soooosooosoo unreal (the food, the room, the environment), a dream. David and Cyrus, the guides, are native English speakers and know a lot of the animals. I can assure you’ll have a good trip and being in good hands :) The only thing that bothered us enormous was the fact that beverages are not included. We had a lunch but needed to pay for the drinks, not being aware of this can bring you in awkward situations as not heaving enough Kenyan shillings f.e. Also at the end of our stay we needed to pay for the drinks we consumed during breakfast, lunch, dinner. So if this can maybe be calculated in the price, it will be much more pleasant. Buuuut to be extra clear, thank you for all your wisdom and your safe safari rides, where we saw a lot of pretty animals and nature. If you want to see the 5 five I need to tell you, you should add a Nairobi city Safari to your trip to Kenya too, because seeing a rhino is much easier there than at the Masai Mara. :)

David Mwangi was our guide for my family's trip to the Mara. I must contend that the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Southern Kenya is an exceptional place, and I can say without a shadow of doubt that David is one of the best tour guides I have had the occasion to work with in 20-plus years of travel across several countries. David was able to provide us with a very enriching experience of the Mara by scheduling and executing three safari-drives in which we saw many different species of wildlife. I most admired his professionalism and patience that allowed us ample time to take-in each species and do the touristic things such as take pictures and ask as many questions about the species of interest to us. His knowledge of the various birds and animals, and his ability to spot (and identify locations for best spotting) hard to get animals is exceptional. I must add that his open willingness to accommodate our spontaneous / sporadic request for changes to the pre-planed tour and game-viewing schedules was an added plus.

David is the guy you need for your safari adventure in Kenya for sure. Originally he was suposed to be "just" our guide for the Maasai Mara safari but ended up being much more than that. He went above and beyond to make our whole visit to Kenya go smooth and without any hustle. The time we spent in Maasai Mara was simply magical. David made sure that we saw the whole big five as well as the big nine (including the famous Fast Five) and so much more. We spent 4 nights in Mara Serena which also added to the experience (beautiful place with super friendly staff and great view from every room). If you want to watch the most exciting animals from up close while listening to a fascinating commentary about how they live and much much more, ask for David. 6 stars out of 5. Thanks a lot pal! See you next time
