DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!! Whatever the negative comments is all true. This company is a scam! We booked our tour a year in advance and We paid in FULL for hotel, park, and Safari. We kept in touch with Fred Mitt and the company leading up to the trip. Got to the hotel and went on the safari on the same day we got there. an hour before the safari our tour guy said the company hasn’t pay him or the park fees so we can’t go. We tired calling the company and they said sorry and is trying to work things out. Then made us wait and wait. Gave us the run around and it was getting late. Fred Mitt is who we spoke too and also our coordinator when we booked the trip, He said why don’t we pay for the safari and park fees again and he will reimburse us the money. He knows we are desperate to go on the safari and he know without paying for the park fees we can’t go. My husband was Furious, but we had no choice. We have to cough out another 900 dollar for the safari park. now we paid it 2x. Next day we had the hot air balloon and turns out they didn’t pay for that and we have to pay 900 dollar for it. We were so disappointed and We thought that was the last of our trouble, turns out when we check out our hotel the reception told us that the company didn’t pay them so now we have to pay for our hotel stay. we were shocked! Now we have to pay another 1,600. So everything we booked with them was not paid for and we end up having to pay for EVERYTHING out of pocket again! They said they would reimburse us within a week but just like people in the comments said, they give us the run a round and still haven’t paid us. This is a horrible company! We booked with them because they have the whole package plan and we wanted our trip to care free and wonderful. It turns out to be a nightmare. Now we have to deal with our CC company and try to get our money back.

We have just returned from an incredible experience with natural world safaris. I was slightly nervous about booking with a tour operator prior to arrival in the country, but they were beyond reliable and helpful at every step of the journey. Our safari guide Michael was incredibly knowledgeable, drove very well and ensured we had a great time. We were dropped by Michael to the train station at Voi, and he ensured we had our tickets and were safely inside the terminal before leaving. On arrival in Mombasa a driver was waiting for us, and once we were in the car, Michael called to ensure we had been picked up. The safari itself was brilliant. We saw lions, elephants, buffalo, zebra, giraffes and many more animals and birds. Michael’s knowledge ensured we made the most of the times in the parks and that we saw as much as possible. His driving also kept us safe. The accommodation was good. The first night we stayed at Sentrim Amboseli, which was comfortable with charming staff, but the rooms and bathrooms could benefit from refurbishment. Our second night was at Kilaguni Serena lodge which was amazing. The restaurant looking over a watering hole was a particular high point. We saw an elephant having a bath whilst we ate dinner! Our final night was at Ashnil Aruba, the rooms and staff here were great, but the atmosphere of the hotel was much busier and less “special” than kilaguni. Overall an amazing trip and would highly recommend this company.

My wife and I did a honeymoon safari with Natural World and it was incredible! We explored Samburu, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. We saw the entire Big Five and so many other animals up close. Our guide Peter was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. From picking us up at our hotel to staying with us the entire time, he made everything seamless and fun! The lodges were fantastic as well. Super comfortable with great food and just perfect for relaxing after long days of adventure. If you’re planning a safari in Kenya, we highly recommend Natural World. And if you can, request Peter as your guide — he’s outstanding!

It was a great experience overall. Before the trip we were kept well informed by Fred and he always answered all our questions. We were received from the airport on our arrival by Fred. Next morning we met by our guide Peter who was with us until the end of the trip. Peter was helpful and knowledgeable. The toyota landcruiser we had for the whole trip was excellent especially given the bumpy roads of the safari parks. There was a hiccup which wasn't pleasant as the last two days park fees was not paid and we had to pay for it. We were told there were some issues with the payment but they did pay us back as promised. Putting that aside it was a great trip and we would recommend it.

This review is about the tour company Natural world not a reflection on our guide Harrisson. So many people historically and currently are experiencing the same issues as we did just last week with payments not being made to the parks and hotels. Behind the scenes there is something going on that is unethical. Where are all the payments going when we make them. I want to comment that we paid initially in 2020, and couldn’t get our money back from company stating they needed more bookings first. I was understanding since originally it was covid, now they is not the case. Here is our experience. It all started 30 minutes into our tour. Our guide informs us he wasn’t given any money for the trip. Meaning he had no gas money for jeep! We paid $120 usd to start the tour and unfortunately the financial issues just continued. Our guide tried all day to reach administration and they just ignored his calls. Samburu park fee not paid, then we were told no room without payment . Hotel staff who are friendly felt bad but wanted $400 usd to give us room keys! We managed to get the owner Humphrey cell number and called him directly. He assured us he would fix all. Unfortunately that didn’t happen, troubles continued daily. Emailed for support with zero reply. Tried Esther and Aggrey who had no issue both emailing me prior to my trip. Aberdare hotel The Ark- our names not on sheet for check in or for our lunch, seemed odd and room we were given was separate and furthest away from others and the views. Hotel staff were friendly while we sorted out issue. Could see out window where bus was parked. Seemed like we were a last minute addition . No wifi in room Sopa hotel issue again with payment. This time they didnt pay by September so reservation deposit expired . The manager at the hotel said it’s not good practice to leave guests waiting and felt bad for us. It’s so embarrassing to wait in lobby and not be allowed to enter. Each hotel was 1-2 hour wait for get payment fixed. Kandili resort we called ahead at lunch on route to avoid any issues at check in . Thankfully that worked. Every park entrance waited at least 15-30 minutes for payment . No wifi in jeep but was listed in our final summary for travel Owner Humphrey called us at end of our tour, too late to fix anything. Supposedly he has sold and purchased new jeeps, not sure what is happening behind the scenes but an employee recently quit wonder if it’s too hard to work for someone who doesn’t make payments. Our guide commented as well how stressful it is for him to see things going so badly. I won’t upload any photos of my trip, the safari and hotels were excellent but when every night you worry about hotel stay and park admission it really adds stress. 8 days later and still no reply to my emails , not even an apology for all our issues

Good communication including emails ,txt,phone calls , itinerary and receipts clear and easy to follow, Driver /guide was excellent, pick up on time informative and knowledgeable, good driver , animal knowledge good, knew were to find the animals made a big effort to find the cheetah, vehicle old but well maintained and clean , Benson the driver always helpful, Booked accommodation through the safari company could be done direct but made sense to combine together, stayed at Mara river camp fantastic on the bank of the Mara river, good staff accommodation top class. Little hick up on check out sorted quickly by the company.

BEWARE - Fraudulent practices!! What started as an amazing experience has turned into a complete nightmare. I booked a Safari with Natural World and mid-way through the getaway, all the payments that they had to do -as I had alreayd paid for these in advance- park fee for Masai Mara, hotel at Masai Mara (Masai Serena) were not done. I had to pay over 1,000 Euros (after already having covered the tour in full) so that we could get our room. The sketchy operator "Fred" first said that I would get the money in cash later that day, then he/she said it was coming the next day. Then that I would get it at my final stop in Diani Beach. Lastly that they had initiated a process with Pesapal to reimburse me. It been more than a week of all these shanianigans, and now they just ignore my emails and WhatsApp message. Disputing this with AMEX already. I cannot recommend this fraudulent company. There are several options out there.

Avoid This Tour Company – My Experience with National World Safari If you’re considering booking with this company, I strongly recommend you think twice. Here’s my story: Booking and Payment Issues I booked an all-day Nairobi-to-Amboseli safari for October 26th, 2024, with National World. I paid $690 for three people back in May 2024—well in advance to avoid issues. The cost breakdown was $210 per person, plus $20 each for a stop at a Maasai village. In September, one person from my group canceled. Their policy states you can cancel up to a month before the tour, so I immediately informed Phylis (an employee) on September 16th. However, getting confirmation about the refund was a nightmare. I had to constantly follow up over several days to get any updates. Eventually, Phylis told me the refund would be handed to me by the driver on the day of the tour. Last-Minute Communication Chaos The day before the tour, on October 25th, Phylis informed me that Ben would be our driver and would bring the refund. Later that night, she texted again—there was a driver switch, and now Francis would take us, but he wouldn’t have the refund. I suggested adding a friend as a substitute traveler to avoid the refund issue, but initially, Phylis said no. After I insisted, she reluctantly agreed. Unpreparedness and Delays The tour day started with more frustration. We left Nairobi at 4:30 AM, hoping to reach Amboseli by 9:00 AM for breakfast. However, the driver ran out of fuel along the way. We had to wait 45 minutes on the roadside until someone from National World sent him money to refuel. When we finally reached Amboseli at 9:00 AM, our park entry fees hadn’t been paid. We were stuck at the entrance for over an hour, calling both Phylis and Esther (the company’s accountant) to resolve it. Food Payment Problems Breakfast was served at 10:00 AM, and lunch at 1:30 PM. After lunch, the lodge staff wouldn’t let us leave because National World hadn’t paid for the meals. This was incredibly frustrating—another hour lost waiting for the company to sort things out after several more calls. Maasai Village Delay We continued the safari and hoped to visit the Maasai village, but again, Francis had no money to cover the village fee. More waiting ensued as we tried to get National World to send funds. Poor Customer Service and Attempts to Save Face After all these issues, I shared a draft of this review with the company. They started calling and texting, trying to make things right—but the damage was done. Final Thoughts Although I enjoyed seeing wildlife and visiting the Maasai village, National World’s poor communication, lack of preparedness, and mismanagement made this a stressful experience. I have all the texts to prove the events described. Until they address these serious operational flaws, I cannot recommend this company.

My partner and I booked our first ever Safari with Natural World based on a recommendation, marking our first trip to Kenya. We had such an amazing time on Safari; we can safely say now that it won't be our last visit to Kenya! This was, for the most part, down to our fantastic guide, Bonaya, who made our trip truly special. His extensive knowledge of the animals and landscapes enriched every moment, and his friendly, upbeat attitude made the journey fun. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. We got such great value for what we paid – 3 nights in 3 different, all equally stunning Safari lodges across different parks in Kenya, fully catered, and served by the loveliest and most welcoming staff everywhere we went. Kenya’s scenery, as well as the many animals we saw, continually took our breath away on our daily drives. We can’t wait for our next visit!

I took a 3 day safari to Amboselli and Tsavo West with one of my sons on the 11th of October. It was a great experience, with good accommodation and an excellent guide called Abu Bakr. He was very informative and able to find animals when we wanted to! Abu Bakr was great company as well.

Our honeymoon in Kenya was an unforgettable experience, largely thanks to the incredible safari organized by Natural Worlds. From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs. Our point of contact, Fred, was incredibly attentive and ensured that every detail of our trip was perfectly arranged. Our guide, Felix, was more than just a guide; he became a friend. His passion for wildlife was infectious, and his expert knowledge of the animals and their habitats allowed us to witness some truly breathtaking moments. His incredible respect for the animals was evident throughout our trip, and we believe it was largely due to his approach that we were able to see all of the Big Five. We'll never forget the thrill of spotting a black rhino thanks to Felix's keen eyes and expert navigation. He had a unique ability to connect with the animals, making our experience even more special. The camps we stayed at were all top-notch, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. The small touches, like the romantic decorations in our tent, made our honeymoon even more memorable. We cannot recommend Natural Worlds enough. If you're planning a safari in Kenya, this is the company to book with. Fred and Felix made our trip truly extraordinary, and we're already dreaming of returning in the future.

We have a great Safari experience with our guide Sam from the Ramja Safari. We booked a tour for two people. Sam has 25 years of safari experience. He is very nice and professional. Thanks to him, we have seen all kinds of animals, including some rare animals, such as leopards and cheetahs. We visited four national parks and each of the four parks has its own characteristics, with different flagship animals.
