          Best Safari Experience.
Best Safari Experience Ever "Our 5-day safari with Greytone Bush Tours was beyond our wildest dreams. We explored Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha, each offering unique experiences. The accommodations were luxurious, and our guide was incredible, ensuring we saw a wide range of wildlife."

          Amboseli day trip
I went on a private day tour of Amboseli from Nairobi. The tour in itself was good, and the driver was happy to explain all the facts about the animals, but there were a couple of issues. First of all, the night before the tour I got asked to pay 50$ more, as the car we were supposed to use was not available and we had to take a more expensive one (the 50$ was to cover the fuel of the bigger, faster car). At the same time, I was told that I was not going to have a buffet lunch at the campsite (which is what I paid for), but that they would give me a lunch box (cheaper than the buffet lunch). In addition, at the time of booking, I told the organiser I am a vegetarian and need lunch accordingly. They confirmed I would have vegetarian options. I double-checked about the dietary requirement later on, and also the night before the tour. I was told that I would 100% have a vegetarian lunch and not to worry. Funnily enough, in my breakfast there were sausages and in my lunch there was chicken. I contacted the organiser and he apologised. Overall, I enjoyed the trip. Lawrence was a good driver.

          Happy with it
I am pleased with the travel. Everything was as detailed in the proposal. As a young female solo traveller, I have always felt safe. A very good thing for me was the communication with the organiser of the tour: he was always quick to answer messages and offered solutions tailored to my needs. The only thing is that the proposal offered a Maasai village tour at 20$ on day 3 of the itinerary when in reality the tour was on the 2nd day for only 10$. When I asked the organiser, I was told that I could either do the tour on the 2nd or the 3rd day. Luckily I chose the 2nd, because there was no tour on the 3rd. I am gutted that I had to pay double the amount of the others on the tour, but as the proceeds go to the Maasai people, it's fine.

          An awesome trip!
Paul was great through the booking experience, the guides were great and the accomodation was as described. The safaris themselves were incredible, we had a small group which was perfect as we had space in the vehicle and for the cost I think it was great value for money

A Great Tour with Many Animals, Photo-Ops, Memories, and Surprises!
Having recently completed the 6-day Maasai Mara, Nakuru, and Amboseli tour with Greytone Bush Tours, I can surely say that it was beyond excellent! Our tour guide, Boniface was the highlight, and did absolutely everything in his power to make the trip special, and I would be the first to recommend taking this trip with Boniface! As my first safari, I didn't know what to expect. Boniface worked harder than ever to ensure that he knew everyone's names, ensure everyone's safety at all times, and he went out of his way to add extra stops (for example at the grocery store) to our itinerary to (a) make the long drives not as bad, and (b) give us opportunities to explore things that were not on the itinerary (and this completely made our experience)! Boniface was genuinely one of the most hard-working people that I have met in my entire life, and an example of his dedication to his job was on our second day, which was the full-day Maasai Mara game drive. In the early morning, 5:30 or so, we were just waking up and going to breakfast, meanwhile Boniface was changing our first flat tire of the trip, and with no help whatsoever. I can honestly say that I could not do that myself, and especially not drive for 12 hours like Boniface did. He was an incredible tour guide, and I would highly suggest requesting to tour with Boniface should you be considering this trip! In terms of the safari itself, it was absolutely incredible to see all the animals! We saw almost all of the big 5 (unfortunately we saw no cheetahs), however this is not a reflection of the tour company as Boniface (our guide) was on his radio trying to find all the best (and closest) animals for us to see. I also took this trip in "rainy season" (May) which may be another reason that we would have seen "less" animals than usual, however there was no shortage of animals! For instance, we saw lion after lion after lion, many elephants, gazelles, giraffes, ostriches, rhinos (multiple types), hyenas, etc. I took this tour over 3 weeks ago and I am still finding new photos in my camera roll! I would also say that rainy season doesn't have much rain and did not impact our trip (the weather was still hot and great), so this should not be a reason not to go. Otherwise, on the game drives, Boniface ensured that there were plenty of photo ops, chances to get out of the vehicle (not near the animals, obviously), lunch breaks, restroom breaks, etc. It was a pleasure having him as our guide! In terms of the accommodations, this is a budget tour, which is reflected in the accommodations. The third and final accommodation (Nyati Safari Camp in Amboseli) was by far the nicest, and a great way to end the trip. Otherwise, the other camps build character. At the first camp that we stayed at (Miti Mingi Eco Camp), there was a large brown stain on my towel, so I had asked the reception for a new towel, and was sort of given a hard time. Nevertheless I understand that they may not have had many towels... building character. We also unfortunately didn't have hot water at any of the accommodations (hot water is advertised by the reception staff), but this was not a big deal at all. Overall the accommodations were nice, each room/tent had a washroom, multiple beds, electricity (during its designated times), and the accommodations supplied our food. In terms of food, Miti Mingi Eco Camp and Nyati Safari Camp had great food! Food is served buffet-style, and there was no shortage of food (including fruit!) at these spots. Hotel Citymax however did not serve an appropriate amount of food for our group size, and we did have to ask for more. When we did ask for more, they only brought out more food on a plate to the individual that asked. Otherwise, the security at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp went out of their way as well, in that they brought us to visit a local school which was a great experience and was also not part of the itinerary.

Great experience for the budget safari with Greytone Bush tours!
We had a really good time on our 4-day safari with greybushtours to Masai Mara and the Nakuru Nationalpark. From the pick-up outside from town, to the care during our trip, we enjoyed our trip very much. Our Guide Anthony was able to answer every questions about the animals and nature we had and gave as a lot of information besides that. Also the contact before was very nice, the answers to questions came very fast and everyone was very friendly! Only the amount of water bottles on the way was pretty little. All in all I would recommend the organisation of the safari if you’re looking for a safari on a budget!

          Wonderful lifetime experience.
This time I tried a long itinerary on my safari covering the Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli, it was a budget one and we had all the best offered to us. The vehicles used were comfortable for the drives and the driver had intensive knowledge of the parks and animal tracking. Then there's the communication part, very excellent, fulfilling all the promises and giving all valuable information we needed. Surely greytone bush tours team was a great choice.

          Awesome experience
This was one of the best and most exciting safari I have ever had, wr spotted nearly all the desired animals on the second day. This was a long day though because we had a full day in the park, but its the climax of the experience and you cant afford to miss.
