- 368syedam0 contributionsBest safari experience - maximum comfort & funIt was a trip of a lifetime. Heels & Valise made the safari seamless - from pickup at our hotels in Nairobi, to lodging in the mara, to lunches/waters/etc. My group of 11 and I didn’t have to lift a finger! The safari guides (Christopher & Bernard) were also exceptional. Through the gamedrives, they went the extra mile to keep us informed & show us as much as possible. Would 100% recommend using Heels & Valise for a safari & would use them again myself.Written January 19, 2025
- linasingh25090 contributionsUnforgettable 3-Day Safari with Heels and Valise ToursWe had an amazing experience with Heels and Valise Tours! We booked a 3-day safari package with Val, and everything was seamless—from the organization and logistics to the quality of accommodation, food, and the safari itself. A special shoutout to the jeep drivers! They were highly knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us to see the animals. Thanks to their expertise, we witnessed incredible moments: animal fights, a cheetah eating an antelope, a group of lions tearing apart a buffalo, and sightings of most of the Big Nine. Our group of 11 people came from different parts of the world, and Val ensured that everything went smoothly for everyone, with no issues or inconveniences. Overall, it was an unforgettable trip, and I highly recommend booking with Heels and Valise Tours for a well-organized and extraordinary safari experience.Written January 13, 2025
- 958marcelol0 contributionsThe Ultimate Safari: Great Planning and an Amazing GuideWe did a customized tour for us - Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater - with a special pick-up at a Kenya-Tanzania border post called Isibania, and drop-off at Kilimanjaro International Airport. The tour package was absolutely perfect for us—it not only met but exceeded all of our expectations. The accommodations were excellent, and the highlight of the trip—the wildlife encounters—was outstanding. We had incredible, up-close views of the Big Five and so much more! Val did an amazing job organizing the trip, offering a variety of options and making valuable suggestions. She was incredibly patient and flexible, accommodating our pace and adjusting to our changing needs, especially since this was our first time visiting Africa. Our guide, Richard, was phenomenal. His knowledge of the local wildlife, history, culture, and languages was exceptional. He knew the terrain and roads like the back of his hand, ensuring we were always in the best spots to witness the action safely and efficiently. His mechanical skills were a lifesaver—one evening, just as we were approaching the camp, the jeep encountered some issues. Richard fixed it on the spot while we had dinner, refusing to rest until everything was sorted. He was polite, respectful, cautious, and great company throughout the trip. Plus, he spoke Spanish, which was a fantastic bonus for us. A huge thank you to Val and Richard! I highly recommend Heels and Valise Tours without hesitation!Written November 12, 2024
- MichalB10540 contributionsInsightful and Engaging Nairobi City Center Walking TourI recently participated in the Nairobi City Center and Historical Free Walking Tour, and it was an incredible experience! The guide was highly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating stories and historical insights about the city’s landmarks. We explored key sites such as the Kenyatta International Conference Center, Uhuru Park, and various historical buildings, all while learning about Nairobi's rich cultural and political history. The tour was well-paced, allowing us to take in the vibrant energy of the city center while engaging with local culture. It was also free, which made it a fantastic budget-friendly option. I highly recommend this walking tour for anyone visiting Nairobi who wants to gain a deeper understanding of the city’s past and present!Written September 17, 2024
- marionrJ1902MS0 contributionsLovely adventure in Masai MaraEverything was well organized from start to finish. Masai Mara was incredible and the driver made sure we saw as many animals as possible. The accommodation was great (Mara Sopa). Communication with Heels and Valise was easy. I traveled with my 70-year old mom and she loved it, though in retrospect the flight might have been a better option for her than the 6-hour drive. Other than that, we had an amazing time! 100% would recommend!Written November 5, 2023
- dsuareztraverso0 contributionsMaasai Mara SafariI took a safari to Maasai Mara with the travel agency Heels and Valise Tours and had an incredible experience. The staff was very professional and helpful, and the safari was very well organized. We stayed in excellent camps and saw many wild animals, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. We also had the opportunity to meet the Maasai people and learn about their culture. I highly recommend the travel agency Heels and Valise Tours to anyone who wants to take a safari to Maasai Mara. They are professional and offer excellent service. Maasai Mara safari recommendation Maasai Mara is one of the best places in the world to see wildlife. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. There is also a large population of wildebeest, which migrate through the park each year. The best time to take a safari to Maasai Mara is during the dry season, which runs from June to October. During the dry season, the grass is lower, making it easier to see the animals. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, I recommend taking a safari to Maasai Mara. It is an experience you will never forget.Written July 29, 2023
