Wonderful day visiting animals in Nairobi!
We had a great time with Nathan our tour guide as we explored Nairobi National Park, the Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Center. It was well organized and relaxing as we were able to see all the animals we wanted and more! Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience to Hell’s Gare and Lake Naivasha
This was an absolutely incredible experience— saw tons of animals including Zebras, Giraffe, Hippos, Wildabeast, etc. Isaac was the perfect tour guide; very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Couldn’t recommend the day trip or Isaac’s services enough! (Tiny note for consideration: the bike ride through Hell’s Gate is no joke so be prepared and bring water)

          Safari with Sammy
Our Masai Mara safari was really a great experience, we met our guide Sammy in Nairobi and got settled into our Land Cruiser really fast! We stayed at rhino camp which was good and food was great. Sammy was very knowledgeable and tried his best to find us all the animals and get us as close as we could. I would go with them again. Highly recommend!

          Masai Mara safari
Albert was an amazing driver and guide. We were so lucky to see a leopard. He was also very patient. I left my cellphone in the jeep and he very patiently drove back in the rain (and got stuck in the mud) just to bring it back to me. He went above and beyond. I highly recommend him.

The best safari experience ever. Balloon flight was breathtaking . Our guide was exceptional!
This was my first safari and it was amazing. Our guide was called Dennis ( not his official name obviously) I think we were very lucky to have him. He is very committed and certainly knows the animals and their habitats very well. A real love for them and passionate about his work. We got to see every single animal that we had hoped to. Even on our very last morning we were supposed to be going for a quick drive and jokingly requested that we hadn’t seen a rhinoceros 🦏…he didn’t bring us back until we had 🥰 Dennis went above and beyond each time he took us out, and certainly didn’t rush to get us back. The staff were also really friendly and accommodating, my only criticism sadly was on the morning we left one of the party had a nasty fall. Again the staff that saw it happen were very concerned and tried to help. They were finally able to get the guest to reception and again Dennis was there to take us to the air strip. He was shocked to see the state of the guest but was assured a few plasters were needed to get us to the airport then we could see a First Aider. He went off to find the nurse to get some help and she wouldn’t come out and said to get the person to hospital. This was totally unnecessary and there was a plane to catch. Dennis was very upset by the nurses lack of care….as were all of us.

          Great experience in africa
We had an amazing experience with perfect wilderness. We had a custom tour, including Gorilla trekking in Rwanda, several safari drives on kenya, including Maasai Mara and Samburu, and some days in Zanzibar. Nathan, our driver/guide was amazing, and we got excellent services from the company itself. We stayed at very nice hotels, with delicious food. The price we paid for the whole trip was also excellent, compared to other options. I strongly recommend perfect wilderness to everyone

          Awesome Overnight Trip Ol' Pajeta
Our guide Peter was calm, friendly, organised, amenable and knowledgeable. The conservancy has a lot to offer in terms of wildlife and it was thrilling to see rhinos, lions, giraffes and a whole host of other beautiful species. It also has a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. The lodge (Serena) looks out over the natural wilderness where we could see rhino and buffalo and various types of gazelle, antelope and warthog. And we heard a lion roaring at night! And lots of great birds from eagles to secretary birds and rollers We loved our tent...very well equipped and comfortable and we appreciated the little touches like the hot water bottles at night!

          Really bad
Booked this from the UK as our first experience of a Kenyan Safari, however we were significantly disappointed. Sevea items noted in the listing are false advertising It is definitely a budget safari despite it stating "mid-luxury acccomodation" on the listing. The accommodation itself has not been maintained - toilet was not flushable until 10 minutes after the last person used it. Breakfast and lunch were basic options- toast and egg, and pasta and veg. The listing also stated that water was included. This is not the case so come prepared. Water is only included when you are on the safari truck- not in the accommodation. Be prepared to purchase water during breakfast, lunch and dinner. I personally liaised with Sylvia before booking to confirm dietary requirements. I was told that either halal or vegetarian options would be available. The picnic lunch provided had Ham with no alternatives. This meant we had to eat the muffin and fruit instead - there are no places to purchase alternative food when in the masai mara Park. Another discrepancy with the listing is the 3 day safari and description. It was actually a 1.5 day safari. The last day was spent at the masai village ($20 entrance fee plus $$$$ in tips which are requested). Come with small dollar bills as tips are expected from everyone you interact with. The customer service after was also ridiculous with Sylvia mentioning that we were the only ones with the issue. This isn't true as there was a vegetarian in our group who also raised the same issue. Really disappointing

          17 Rhino’s in half a day! :O
It was an amazing safari of half a day. Our guide Nathan did great and he was finding a lot of animals of us. We saw a lot: zebra’s, giraffes, buffelo, gazelle’s, lions and 17(!!) rhino’s. 16 white rhinos and 1 black rhino (we got very lucky). I would definitely again with this company.

Visit Masai Mara but not with this company
The one star is only for Masai Mara’s natural beauty! The guide Joseph was a ok driver but barely communicated. He only named the animals we were seeing, nothing more, perhaps due to his limited English… The Rhino camp was a nightmare! Bad food, broken tents, no water or if any it was pink and cold, no camp fire at night as promised. Terrible management. Issues with pick up and drop off from my hotel. Almost 1 hour earlier than announced for pick up and I was asked by Sylvia from Safari Wilderness tour to pay an extra 20$ to be dropped off when it was free for pick up! Even if you travel on a budget like I did, I would not recommend!

I wrote a message for Perfect Wilderness Tours and Safari Sunday morning and trip was paid and confirmed by 2pm for the next day. I had a big breakfast before pickup which gave good energy for the hike. Charles (driver and guide) picked me up at 6am at house I was staying at. We stopped at Rift Valley Viewpoint for some photos before heading straight to Mount Longonot. You need to bring a reusable water bottle (not even reused coca-bottle fx is ok) otherwise you’ll have to buy 1 (100 KES).
Charles and I went up the mountain and went all way round the crater. Beautiful hike, but harder climbs + loose/slippery gravel/sand made it difficult. You have to be in some kind of training to be able to hike all way round. It will be very slippery if it rains.
The hike was 5h20m w. Few breaks. I teaches us w. The app AllTrails (very nice).
We didn’t manage to make time for lunch in Naivasha, bc I wanted to hike all around the crater. I had packed several snacks (salty, nuts, chocolate) and juice, soda and water and 2 sandwiches which was enough for me, and didn’t need lunch before going on a 1h boat ride from Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp to see the birds (incl. African Fish Eagle) and the hippos. It was a very nice end to a challenging hike.
Charles was great driver and guide. I would recommend him.

I was picked up by George promptly at 6:00am in a very comfortable car. and we drove out to Mt Longonot. George was great company on the hike and offered both encouragement (it was fairly steep in places) and insights into the surrounding Flora and Fauna.

The hike itself is quite strenuous - I am pushing 60 however, but very doable! The views are fantastic. Once yo reach the rim you really have to go all the way round the crater, the views from the very top are amazing.

I skipped the Lake and boat trip as I had done this only a few days earlier - but George took me to a lovely restaurant for lunch on our return trip.

Can't say enough about George who made this a wonderful and memorable day!

Hello Keith, Thank you for taking time to write us a review of your experience with us. We are delighted to read that you had an amazing time at Mount Longonot and George, your driver guide did an excellent job. He is one of the best guides with vast knowledge on Flora and Fauna. This forms one of the many hiking trails and is a great plan for those who want to get way from the busy city and flex their muscles. To cap it all, we take clients to Lake Naivasha, where they have boat ride and enjoy the spectacular views. We would like to have you again in future as we explore other destinations.

This hike really exceeded my and husband's expectations! The climb was challenging but extremely rewarding and made even better by the great company of our guide, Peter. Peter was very easy to talk to and joke around with, he had a lot of knowledge to share, and was very encouraging. I would 10000% recommend this hike and especially one with Peter as your guide. The hike took around 4.5 hours (including hiking around the crater rim). I recommend coming prepared with plenty of water and good hiking shoes with a strong grip because the climb and descent is rather steep.

Climbing was tough at first due to altitude. After an hour I was fine and got to enjoy spectacular views around the crater. Polepole, slowly slowly my guide said. The descent isn’t easy either. Overall I’d say this walk is for people who are reasonably fit.
I then did the boat ride on Lake Navaisha which was a nice wind down after the walk but also included a short walk where I got to see zebra, wildebeest, water buck, giraffe, hippopotamus, and impala.
My driver was cautious compared to others on the road, and all the guides were fabulous. I’d suggest budgeting about 3000KES for tips and 5000 to 10000KES for souvenirs. And note that ATMs aren’t common in the area.

I had an excellent experience with Perfect Wilderness Tours. I booked a private hike to Mt Longonot, leaving Nairobi at 5am so I could be back to catch an early evening flight. Everybody I dealt with was wonderful - from Everline who responded to my various queries very promptly, to my excellent driver Nicrdermus who I felt very safe with - he was the best driver I had during my time in Kenya. Geoffrey, my guide, was also excellent. He was great company along the hike and very knowledgeable. Mt Longonot is beautiful and well worth the walk. I was pleased to do so early in the morning before it got too hot. I'd highly recommend Perfect Wilderness Tours.

What a fantastic day. I had read some of the previous reviews and highly recommend to come prepared for a more strenuous hike if you plan to go around the rim of the volcano!

The trip was very well organized. My driver Stephen picked me up at 6 am to drive to Mt. Longonot. He confidently and very safely maneuvered Nairobi traffic. We arrived at the park at 8‘am and my guide was Joshua who was phenomenal. He kept a good pace and shared a breath of knowledge of plants and wildlife. The views were breathtaking. I am an avid hiker but I had misjudged the altitude a little bit, so going up to the top was more
strenuous than I expected but doable. Bring plenty of water and wear a hot - also, a hiking pole may not be a bad idea. We saw some wildlife along the way - including a buffalo. I can highly recommend this trip

An absolutely fantastic day out of the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. The hike was perfect and the views are breathtaking. The guide David is excellent and keeps you motivated. The boat trip was the best possible end to the day, very relaxing. The price of entrance to the park is included but you have to pay for the lunch and boat separately. The driver Peter is great also. Highly recommend the trip as a solo female traveller.

The hike was great but I think people should consider the elevation if they are used to sea level elevations. I had to stop frequently as I am not used to any elevation. However, it was worth it. Then we went to lunch and after that to the lake. Swimming in the lake was great, we saw hippos. But forgot sunscreen & got a little sunburn. So dont forget your sunscreen. Victor, our guide, was great throughout this whole trip.

This was an extraordinary tour! First we hiked to mt. Longonot, our guide Simba was very understanding of our pace haha He was so professional and humble. Extremely nice and caring guy! Boat ride on Naivasha was fantastic! Hippos amongst other animals you can watch while going around the Crescent Island.
Definitely we’ll do another tours with these guys! Thank you a lot!

I had a great day with a superb guide George.
The tour is recommendable for any out door fan. Its a good day tour hike with a beautiful view over the volcano and area.
some difficult sections have to be mastered and the intensity is not to be under-estimated but still a great hike for everyone in good fitness.
