We were travelling as a family, with 2 children younger adults and older adults. We were concerned about longer drives with children, however our driver Dan was outstanding with the children and all of us. We have travelled widely in Africa, and we couldn't have had a better driver. It made a wonderful trip even better. We were travelling over Christmas when there were terrible traffic jams to the north of Nairobi. Dan was in regular contact with his office, and made changes to our journey to keep the disruption to a minimum. Dan was with us for 9 days, and we were all so sorry to say our goodbyes. Thank you SO much.

We were lucky enough to have a private safari with Pollman’s from Nairobi. Our driver was Haron who was the most knowledgable guide ever! He drove us from Amboseli to Tsavo to Taita and finally to Mombasa where we had to say goodbye. We travelled with our daughters and had the most amazing trip. Haron was able to tell us about Kenya, the places we visited & so much about the parks and animals. If you want a life affirming experience then make sure you ask for Haron as he will lift your spirits even though you got up at 5am!! We would use Pollmans again as they are well organised, use excellent vehicles and really know their stuff!!!

We had a 7 day Safari with Pollman’s visiting the Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo West national parks. We were 4 couples celebrating our friends 60th birthday. Our guides / drivers Denis and Haron were both excellent, knowledgeable and good fun. We managed to see the Big 5 and many other animals thanks to our guides/driver’s experience. We had an amazing experience with Pollmans from the moment we were met at Nairobi airport everything ran smoothly. There was a slight mistake on our itinerary, but this was rectified immediately. We would like to give special thanks to Louie who met us at the airport and after a long day of travelling was extremely welcoming and Gladys who helped us with our transfer from hotel to Wilson airport but a very special mention goes to Mary, what a wonderful lady she is. Mary drove us from our hotel to the Sheldrick elephant orphanage and was so informative about the areas we travelled through and was the loveliest lady! Mary has a great sense of humour and by the end of the trip had become my husband’s aunty Mary! Thank you so much Mary and the rest of the team at Pollmans for ensuring our trip ran smoothly!!

Great experience! We went to 6 days safari last November. Thanks to the experienced drivers our group managed to spot all of the big 5 animals. Tsuma was a great guide - not only focused on the road (which was really challenging at times) but also with a vast knowledge of the animals and their behaviour as well as the culture of Kenya. We felt safe the whole time and managed to see such amazing views and take really good photos of the animals. Thanks Tsuma!

We've seen all of big five, the drivers ( I remember only the name of mr. Bambi but we had two drivers) were full of knowledge and always tried to help us to show us the most. It was the best safari I've been to. Aziz

An amazing experience. We booked an 8 day safari in Kenya with Pollmans whivh was unforgettable. We were picked up in Nairobi by our brilliant guide Sphyder. From there we went across multiple game reserves and national parks and were able to see her big 5. Amazing!! Our guide Sphyder was an absolute legend who was both knowledgeable about all the animals we saw, but also provided us with knowledge about Kenya as we drove through the country. Of you book with Pollmans we would highly advise requesting for Sphyder. Overall this was an unforgettable once in a lifetime experience and would.gifhly recommend Pollmans. Thanks again Sphyder!

We were guided by Phanuell who made our experience (which was our honeymoon) incredible. Phanuell took us to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboselli parks and was so unbelievably knowledgeable, talented and gentle in his approach to helping us see the big 5. Phanuell knew every single bird in sight, all of the trees and of course all variations of the land animals - his knowledge was encyclopaedic and we were totally blown away. Highly highly recommend a tour with Phanuell, incredible guy with outstanding knowledge who exceeded our expectations in every way. The jeeps were comfortable and we felt safe with Phanuells driving. He also kept the car very clean and washed it everyday. Nothing was too much trouble and our experience could not have been better. Thank you for making our trip so special and for being so generous in sharing your knowledge of Kenya’s animal world and sharing your culture.

Absolutely amazing, it's a definite. Soloman collected us promptly, he was friendly, safe driving, full of knowledge, chatty, spent 2 days with him on safari, even had the pleasure of seeing the lions, from his prompt response from his colleague. Amazing from start to finish. Would definitely recommend this if your visiting kenya, we were with another couple and a mum & son, made the experience that bit more special as 6 sets of eyes are better than 4. Thanks soloman we had the best time.

Very well looked after by our guide. Only fault was how the shop we stopped at on the way who tried to extort money. Wanted £400 for a painting, bought one at our hotel for £35. Pointed out all local features on way. Very knowledgeable about wildlife and pointed out stuff we would have missed.

We had an amazing time away in Kenya seeing all the animals up close and getting some amazing photos. Pollmans was well organised and provided us with a lovely guide - Sheshe! Sheshe was so lovely, upbeat and friendly and we couldn’t have asked for a better driver as he got on with us all so well. Sheshe was extremely knowledgeable about the areas and animals but also very respectful. He regularly joked with us and quizzed us on what we had learn each day. We were very lucky to be provided with such a kind and fun guide. Sheshe made our trip so enjoyable and I would highly recommended him :) Thanks for being such a genuine person Sheshe

Pollmans were excellent throughout. Their drivers punctual, happy and so very knowledgeable. Our guide, in perfect English, was able to answer every single one of our million questions with confidence and accuracy. Sheshe, was fantastic and totally made our trip. Speeding through the reserve to get us up and close with Lions on our very first day. We were so lucky. Positives - Sheshe, was brilliant. Singing on our long journeys, telling us all about Kenya. And a very safe driver. Sopa lodges were all very good. Food was fairly good, buffet. All staff were fantastic at each lodge. Negatives - long journey between locations. An option to fly might have been considered. You do lose a day travelling from Masa Mara to Amboselli. We also did a hotel in Mombassa after and not sure it was worth the price tag with awkward flight times back to the UK. Though our time there was thoroughly enjoyed too. (despite some Kenya express!). Overall, a very very positive experience. I would totally 100% recommend going for the Safari. I will remember it for a very long time! Five friends and I from Australia weren't sure what to expect from our much anticipated African Adventure. We had the time of our lives !! Our Booking was via Trip a Deal with Pollman's the on ground Tour Company. We started in Nairobi then a safari in Amboseli National Park. We then crossed the border into Tanzania with Safari's in Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park (different tour company in Tanzania). We returned to Kenya to complete our adventure in the Masa Mara National Park. We were able to all be in the same vehicle with a further six Australians in a separate vehicle, journeying with us. Our driver and guide Salim was dedicated to our care, passionate for his country and animals, a skillful driver, always happy and fun. Salim was skilled at finding the animals getting a great position for photos and when possible, allowing further time after photos to just enjoy watching the animals. His knowledge of the individual animal's behaviour was so special and added to the experience. After spending the first few days with Salim we emailed Pollman's to see if we could have him with us for the Masa Mara when we returned to Kenya, we couldn't have been happier when we saw him at the border for us. We must mention Tom (AKA Rambo) the driver of the second vehicle. Whilst his care was primarily for his guests he always acknowledged us, was fun and a fabulous dancer! All of our accommodation was great, everything we needed was provided, the food was great especially the vegetarian options and Salim was gracious in letting us play our Aussie Rock Anthems on the long drives back ,accompanied by our not so great singing ! If you have been thinking of an African Adventure.. Just Do It! The wonderful memories will last a lifetime.

We did a private tour for seven days with Syed for our honeymoon, going from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru to Amboseli to Tsavo West to Taita Hills. What an absolutely incredible experience. We saw so many different animals, habitats and other interesting sights. Syed was knowledge and so enthusiastic about the natural world. He knew the answer to every question! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this incredible once in a lifetime experience. Hopefully the photos give just a small sense of the amazing things we saw.

just finished a 9-day safari with Sajjad Dawood Swaleh as our driver he was absolutely brilliant always felt safe while driving from park to park and is very knowledgeable, Would recommend Pollemans and Sajjad Dawood Swaleh every time He seems to have the knack of finding the animals .
