Michael and the tour guide were both very helpful. We got dropped off and picked up from the airport, our hotel, and all the tour spots in a very timely manner. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Egyptian history. Would definitely recommend Go Luxor tour for others looking to get an immersive experience.

I used Go Luxor Tours for my trip in Luxor. They picked me up from the airport, they were waiting for me. We started the tour just after my pickup. The driver and the tour guide were very friendly and kind. Also whenever I would have any questions after or before the tour they answered promptly and tried their best to make my requests happen. I happened upon a reddit post regarding great tour companies to use when visiting Egypt and Go Luxor Tours was mentioned highly so I decided to reach out to them. I couldn't be happier with the one week tour experience. Mike was extremely attentive and knowledgeable in designing a tour package which worked like a well oiled machine. I decided to spend a few extra days in Luxor after my small group organized tour concluded in Luxor. I wanted to return to the Valley of the Kings and visit other sites not on our group’s agenda. I found the company after searching on the web for a highly rated, organized tour company that would provide bespoke day tours. Michael was an excellent guide; his English was perfect and he had a calm, patient, and friendly demeanor. I did not feel rushed at any of the attractions and received thorough information at each site. Michael was patient and allowed me plenty of time to roam around independently and take photographs. I had three different drivers during my tours and each driver was safe and professional. The tour guide and driver were punctual and the vehicles were clean and appeared well-maintained. I highly recommend this tour company one’s travels in Luxor.

We were very satisfied by the services offered by Go Luxor Tours. We were directly in contact with Michael, an agent from this travel agency. He was very attentive to our requests and communicated greatly. His suggestions and comments about sites to see and organisation were very relevant. All the proposed guides and drivers met our expectations. They were all passionate and brought our experience to a very high level !! Given the great experience we had in Luxor and Aswan, we decided to stay with them in Cairo : after 3 days in Aswan and Luxor, we had a one day visit of Cairo organised by this agency. Having visited Cairo already, we listed the few remaining attractions we wanted to visit. They came up with a tailored program for that day trip. The experience was great confirming the very good time we had in Luxor and Aswan...highly recommend !!

I would absolutely recommend Go Luxor tours! We did a half day tour of the valley of the kings, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and colossi of Memnon. We booked very last minute but Mike was responsive and helpful over WhatsApp, answering my questions and organising the trip at short notice. There was a comfortable minibus for just the two of us to drive between the sites. Shereen, our guide, was lovely and very knowledgeable! Guides are not allowed in the tombs themselves in the Valley of the Kings but she did an excellent job explaining what we would see beforehand and answering all our questions after! Definitely worth doing this tour, the tombs are incredible. We would highly recommend Go Luxor 🙂

Mike was incredible (and George as our guide for the second day). He made booking super simple, we coordinated everything via instagram & paypal. We had nothing to worry about for our stay. We did an East & West Bank tour and boat ride. We tried to do hot air balloon ride but it was canceled due to weather. The whole process was seamless, we got amazing photos, and learned a ton. Highly recommend

I had a great time exploring the pyramids with Francis! He was super knowledgeable about the history of Egypt and the pyramids, knew all the best photo spots, and which activities were worth doing vs skipping. Booking the tour was super easy and Mike responded promptly to all my questions. Would thoroughly recommend Go Luxor to anyone looking for a tour guide in Egypt!

We had an amazing time with Go Luxor Tours our entire trip! This review is specifically for the tour of the West Bank of Luxor (Memnon, Valley of the Kings, and Temple of Hatshepsut) this leg of our trip was truly breathtaking. They organized it for us to be picked up after doing a separate experience (hot air balloon) on the West Bank of Luxor in order to have a more efficient start to our tour, which was very helpful. We started by meeting our guide, George who took us to the Statues of Memnon and explained the history of the location to us which was cool, but the real part of the tour was the Valley of the Kings. MAN! So much history!! We did not want to leave. Typical trip, you get to visit 3 different tombs in the area, with the option to add King Tut for a separate fee (we did) and George gave us such a detailed explanation of each tomb he recommended we go and see. They were three very different tombs with much different things to see, which we appreciated. It was a beautiful day and before each tomb, he fully explained as much as we could handle so that we could experience the tombs fully with the understanding of the history behind it. He let us know that tour guides aren’t typically allowed in the tombs since it would hold up too much traffic, which we appreciated. King Tut’s tomb was mind blowing, connecting our experience with France’s from Go Luxor Tours in Cairo, bringing our experience full circle in a way we did not expect, which was incredible. We ended our tour by visiting the temple of Hatshepsut which was also incredible by every stretch of the imagination. It was really so crazy that we had done so much in one day and each thing was more special than the last, by the end of our tour we could not have been more grateful for the opportunity to visit this special place with George helping us to see just how special it was. 10/10 would do it again and recommend these guys! They truly made our experience so special.

I cannot say enough about our guide, Frances. He was such an incredible person to meet, and honestly he set the bar high for every other guide we had on our trip. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on our trip! Our first day was at the pyramids and it was a big deal because it was my wife’s 35th birthday and he showed up with a gift for her. Making the trip already very special. He went above and beyond at the pyramids and sphinx to give us detailed rich history of the area as well as took us to all the best spots to take photos. We had a lunch in the city at a great local spot, then we stopped at a few local shops to buy gifts for our family and then ended our day with the tour of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. That was the most mind blowing experience learning about King Tut in the special exhibition they have there. Funny enough, we went to Valley of The Kings later in our trip and it helped make the experience come full circle, as we came with the knowledge from Frances and his tour. It was along day, but our guide made it truly worthwhile.

This was the last leg of our trip and I can say, this company took great care of me and my family. There is so much to learn about Egypt, and our tour guide George kept our curiosity piqued at every stop. He was fantastic and we left the city of Luxor with such a deeper appreciation for the history of the country of Egypt. He took the time to explain so much, and on a trip where we mostly came to just see the sights, he made us all want to become Egyptologists. Visiting Luxor Temple can be overwhelming, there is so much to see. Having George with us really helped us get the experience of a lifetime. Same with Karnak Temple, it really is all so beautiful and with the added layer of an accommodating and knowledgeable tour guide, it really elevated the experience for us. They made my wife’s birthday trip extremely special. 10/10 would recommend. Go Luxor Tours is such a great company to work with and we will work with them again when we come back!
