- Explore610173801670 contributionsDandhara TempleYou can miss any of the Aswan Luxor attraction but not this one a treasure to be explored and enjoy the artwork. Just 90 minutes away from Luxor. Good roads perfect security system on the road and near the monument.Written December 23, 2024
- 443wafas0 contributionsDancing in DandaraWe love the experience of Dandara. It was a magnificent and beautiful temple, with colours still present in its reliefs. Still very much intact, you could almost feel as if you are there in a procession to offer Hathor offerings. Despite being the younger of the many temples in Egypt, it’s so beautiful and those visiting Luxor must visit Dqndara in Qena, worth every minute. Ahmed or guide was very amusing and knowledgeable and made the visit even more entertaining.Written April 17, 2024
- browncondo21020 contributionsGreatly preserved templeThe Temple of Hathor is one of the most well-preserved temples in all of Egypt. There are 3 temples to explore in the complex. the birthing temple at the front, the temple of Isis behind the main temple, and the main temple dedicated to Hathor. Many desert people such as Bedouins used this as a place to stay and removing sand and soot was difficult to bring out the vibrant colours of the walls and ceilings.Written October 2, 2023
- MelanieRachel0 contributionsDo NOT Book! Our money was taken and we never got through to the local contacts. Their numbers did not work. Viator, instead, gave us a pickup location and time, we waited and nothing. Luckily, they gave us a refund without an issue and we were able to rebook another nile cruise in person but this was a huge bump in our vacation plans since we ended up stranded having to find new accommodations and activities and, ultimately, make cuts to our original plans. We didn't get to do everything we wanted and planned for because of this. We won't trust booking through Viator again, but still greatly appreciate their fixing it best they could with the full refund.Written January 22, 2023

- 12vias0 contributionsExcellent, relaxing, peaceful ride in Felucca on NileMy partner, from Greece and I, Tony, from England. Had a wonderful experience sailing on the River Nile in a Felucca, traditional Egyptian sail boat. Two hours of relaxing bliss, away from Cairo's heavy trafic and honking horns! Transport to-from our accommodation . Our driver and, the captain of the Felucca, looked after us splendidly, assisting us on and off the boat, it would have been nice if hot drinks had been provided, but overall, a great romantic experience. Would recommend for anyone visiting Cairo.Written June 12, 2021
