Luxor Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: , Upper Egyptian pronunciation; is a city in Upper (southern) Egypt and the capital of Luxor Governorate. The population numbers 506,535 (2012 estimate), with an area of approximately 417 square kilometres (161 sq mi). The modern city sprawls to the site of the Ancient Egyptian city of Waset, also known as Nut and to the Greeks as Thebes or Diospolis, Luxor has frequently been characterized as the “world’s greatest open-air museum”, as the ruins of the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor stand within the modern city. Immediately opposite, across the River Nile, lie the monuments, temples and tombs of the west bank Necropolis, which includes the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. Thousands of tourists from all around the world arrive annually to visit these monuments, contributing greatly to the economy of the modern city. Our delegate comes in the early morning to take you to the famous balloon flight in Luxor and the flying balloon is an air journey through the balloon that starts from the western mainland, it rises to the borders of 1500 feet through which the tourist can enjoy the aesthetic appearance of the vast green fields and monuments from the sky of Luxor, then after the landing takes you The delegate to return to your hotel for a rest, then the company representative comes to take you by car to go to a trip to the western mainland and your journey begins in the Valley of the Kings and is also known as the “Valley of Kings”, it is a valley in Egypt that was used to construct cemeteries of the pharaohs and nobles of the modern state that extended during the eighth dynastic times Ten to the Twentieth Dynasty in ancient Egypt. The valley is located on the western bank of the Nile, facing the Thebes (now Luxor) in the heart of the ancient funerary city of Thebes. The Valley of the Kings is divided into two valleys; the Eastern Valley (where most of the royal tombs are located) and the Western Valley. Then after going to the Hatshepsut Temple, the monastery was built by Queen Hatshepsut to perform the rituals that benefit it in the other world. As for the name of the monastery, it is a modern Arabic name given to this region in the seventh century AD after the Copts used this temple as their monastery. The temple consists of three escalating steps, linked by sloping platforms for ascending and descending. Then go to the temple of Ramsium, one of the funerary temples that were built for the dead in ancient Egypt. Built by King Ramses II, it is the most of the kings with whom temples were built. The temple includes huge statues of King Ramses II, and an important aspect of the inscriptions that tell the nature of life in that period. The pictures and reliefs that decorate the wall of the temple record the facts of the famous Battle of Kadesh in which King Ramses II defeated the Hittites and how he planned the war. Then go to the Colossi of Memnon or the Colossi of Memnon, which are two huge statues that are all that remains of a temple in memory of the Pharaoh (Amenhotep III), located in Thebes, Western Egypt. They are for King Amenhotep the Third, one of the kings of the Eighteenth Dynasty, and it is the most powerful ruling family in ancient Egyptian history. Then, after completion, our representative will take you to the eastern mainland to begin your journey to visit the Karnak Temple. It is a group of temples, buildings and columns, as expansion and construction operations continued from the Pharaonic era, specifically the Middle Kingdom kings until the Roman era in Luxor in Egypt on the eastern coast. The temple was built for the divine Trinity Amun (Amun Ra in modern times), his wife is the goddess Mut and their son is Khonsu; and each of them has a temple belonging to the complex of Karnak temples then the Luxor temple was built for the worship of Amon Ra and his wife Mut and their son Khonsu, and they are the gods who are also called the Tayyibi trinity (The Triad of Thebes). The Luxor Temple was built during the reign of the Eighteenth Dynasty kings, and then returned to your hotel.

          Great !
Very underrated activity in my opinion, it was totally worth the try, the bikes were in excellent condition and super easy to drive even if it’s your first time, they were so coordinated and took good care of us during the ride. Also worth mentioning that there was a private car for the pick up from our hotel and drop off back at our hotel. The driver very friendly and overall very nice experience. Can’t recommend it enough.
