Adel gave us an excellent tour, and we learned a lot of interesting things from him. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great tour guide.

Educational, enlightening, and also entertaining Adel provided a historical background of ancient Egypt using our sightings and artifacts and a contemporary analysis. It was done with depth, clarity, and humor. We learned a lot, and will definitely be back to learn and laugh some more.

This is my second review for Adel’s services, as I enjoyed the first tour I took with him so much that I followed it up another day with the Egyptian museum and Coptic Cairo tour as well. Adel was kind enough to arrive early for this second day so that we could take full advantage of everything there was to offer, also taking my travel schedule into account. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide to gain exposure to Egyptian history and culture than Adel. I want to reemphasize that this was my second tour with him in two days (both during the tail end of Ramadan) and it really just shows his commitment to what I believe he considers his guests and friends, not just customers. The Egyptian museum is so large that again, a guide is needed, and Adel was willing to essentially customize the experience - even attempting to find a specific type of animal mummified that I was looking for (I did not ask for this, he just picked up on it in conversation and wanted to make sure if it was there that I saw it). Very patient, clear, and thorough with all aspects of this tour. We ran into multiple other guides who commended him and it really shows the kindness and authenticity of the Egyptian people, but Adel in particular. Before you choose a random tour like I did (I just happened to be lucky enough to stumble into this one), please first consider going with Adel 🙏

I was lucky enough to come across Adels services for this full day tour on my second day in Cairo. I can honestly say that Adel is the best guide you will be able to get in the city, where having one is a must. He took on the duties of both driving and narrating the tour, and did so with patience, kindness, and complete professionalism. This was at the end of Ramadan, and Adel did not skip a beat to make sure the experience was unmatched. He is revered by his peers and was willing to share personal anecdotes that made for a truly authentic experience. Adel had a personal hand in some of the excavations related to this tour, and he is the go to person to make your Egypt trip once in a lifetime (even though it probably won’t be once in a lifetime as you’ll be counting the days until you find a reason to come back)

We had a wonderful day with our guide Youssef. He was very knowledgeable about all the history and the monuments we visited. He was always kind to answer all our questions and took great photos of us. We highly recommend visiting Cairo with this experienced guide.

Our Giza pyramids tour was amazing - we again had Adel as our tour guide who was knowledgeable about all aspects of the Giza pyramids,the Sphinx and even the funerary proceedings performed by the ancient Egyptians,from the Nile river landing ;organ removal and embalming. Amazingly interesting and captivating narrations

Our tour guide Adeel was amazing, he carried expert knowledge on all aspects of our site-seeing guided tour - I thoroughly enjoyed his very insightful knowledge especially in the Egyptian Museum concerning all the various Egyptian Kingdoms and associated dynasties even the those later eras of the Ptolemaic; Fatimid;Mamluk and Otterman empires
We even got fascinating commentary in the shuttle transport whilst driving to our various destinations 
He was also apologetically respectful of our wishes not to proceed with some of his recommendations- which I feel is a bit lacking in Egypt

Adel Abdallah from Egypt Select Tours was a fantastic and highly professional guide. I did a 5-6 hrs tour including Pyramids, Sphinx, Cairo Citadel and Islamic Cairo and the full program was very well organized. We also had a dedicated driver with a very comfortable car. Adel is highly knowledgeable and if you are interested to learn a lot about history, culture and daily life in Egypt, Adel is the best guide to do so. Furthermore, Egypt Select Tours also organized my airport transfer on the way home, which was again a very pleasant experience with a very professional driver. AMAZING tour guide!!! Super knowledgeable and accommodating! Great at taking group pictures too!!! Visited Memphis Museum, Sakarra, a camel ride, the great pyramids, The Sphinx and guided us into the great tombs!

What an amazing day spent seeing some of most iconic sites. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and experienced, as was our driver. We felt completely safe as two women traveling in Egypt.

It was an amazing tour. We were really amazed, everything was perfectly on time, reliable and it was really worth it. Sure it's also nice to go to the pyramids without a guide but you would miss so much out. So if you're up for culture, like to learn about ancient Egypt and want more than the usual instagram photos we'd really recommend Select tours.

Me and two friends ended up using Egypt Select for our entire trip through Egypt including Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. They even provided transportation. It was incredible and seamless. Not only is Adel (owner) extremely knowledgeable and informative, he is also very professional and reliable and can handle logistics easily when things have to get changed around when traveling in Egypt. We had a personal situation that required special handling, and Adel took care of it like it was nothing. all of our tours went smoothly as he planned, and everything worked out really well. When Egypt govt closed a road, he quickly got us on a 1st class train and walked us thru everything and took care of us like he was our friend. His guides that took us around in further cities were just as amazing as he is. I highly recommend this tour company for logistics, learning and overall safety in a long journey like we had which spread across three weeks from Cairo to Giza to Luxor to Aswan to Marsa alam and more !
