About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 804kritikap0 contributionsGreat tour!!Great tour! Our guide Roshdy from Reflectionstravel accommodated and modified the tour based on our interests. He contacted us one day prior to the tour and asked if we had specific requests and interests. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and provided further honest recommendations for other sites to visit in Luxor. Roshdy also spoke good English and he was the third tour guide we had during our Egypt tour and was the best one out of the three we experienced!Written September 17, 2024
- A9527YXbenw0 contributionsFantastic trip to Valley of KingsThe tour was fantastic - Reflections Travel were extremely helpful, great communicators and made the trip a breeze. Roshdy our tour guide from reflections travel was perfect. Our daughter wasn’t well and Roshdy went out of his way to help us get supplies from a chemist to make sure she was comfortable, looked after us all day, was a great communicator and made sure we had a great experience. Our driver Hamdi was also great. If I was to book again would definitely book with reflections travel and request RoshdyWritten September 16, 2024

- Ed W0 contributionsSee it all in a dayWe are only going to be in Luxor for two and a half days and we wanted to see as much as we could in one day. So we booked a whirlwind tour to see everything. Roshdy contacted me beforehand on Whatsapp and introduced himself and confirmed when he would meet us at our hotel. I really appreciated the communication and professionalism. Roshdy was there promptly at 9 as agreed and our private driver(Alaa) whisked us away to our first stop at the valley of the Kings. It was great having a private bus vs a big bus or van. It was quite hot and Roshdy and Alaa stopped to get us some cold water. Roshdy walked us through the valley of the Kings and passed along some great facts on the valley itself as well as the tombs he recommended seeing. It was an amazing adventure and was more crowded than I expected for a low tourist season month. We also opted for the kind tut tomb and it was worth the extra cost. We were a bit bummed that in the valley of the queens the one tomb we really wanted to see was closed indefinitely. But we really enjoyed seeing the Temple of Hatshepsut and Roshdy was able to surprise me with a few things that I didn't know, such as, it was rebuilt as over 60% of it was destroyed. We went to a local restaurant and a nice lunch afterwards as a break between the tombs and the temples. We went on to Karnak and Roshdy was great with showing us the highlights and imparting information on which kings built what. We finished with the Luxor temple and we were beat. But we did see everything we wanted to see. A big thanks to Roshdy and our driver Alaa for making it possible and fun at the same time.Written September 14, 2024
- Sunshine377613779060 contributions5 Key Sites of Luxor's West & East BankWe booked a private tour for two which took us to Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, Temple of Hatchepsut, Temple of Karnak and Luxor Temple. Our tour guide Khaled greeted us at the hotel lobby and took us to our private car which was clean, comfortable and had AC (which was always on and running which was especially nice to have between our visits). Our guide had prepared all entry tickets in advance, so we didn't have to wait in any long queues or lines. Additional tickets for Valley of Kings we purchased ourselves on site and it was quick and easy. Our guide gave us detailed explanations of each location which prepared us for what we were about to see, and then gave us free time to explore and take pictures alone. We were able to decide freely where to go and how long to stay, so we did not feel rushed at all. The tour included a local lunch which was both delicious and filling! We only paid an additional 200 EGP for 2 soft drinks, including tips. Unfortunately, the Tomb of Nefertiti was closed for renovations (and has been closed since March 2024), but it was still a nice visit to Valley of Queens. The tour lasted a total of six and a half hours, and all of the 5 sites were located very close to each other! We got back to the hotel at 4 PM and had the rest of the day to relax at the hotel. A big thanks again to Khaled and our driver!Written September 14, 2024
- Nephilim720 contributionsWonderful experience.Rhosdy our tour guide is very knowledgeable. Aside from sharing his expertise with ancient Egypt culture he made sure that we were safe and comfortable. Constantly sharing cold bottled water with us. Umbrella was very useful under the Luxor sun. Rhoshdy was intuitive in making sure our safety and needs are met. Rhoshdy is awesome!Written September 13, 2024

Hoping he could still be our guide if we decide to come back, kudos roshdy!Written September 13, 2024
- 984clintn0 contributionsBest tour of Luxor!I cannot recommend this tour enough. Mohsen is such an exceptional tour guide. His knowledge in the history of Egypt is incredible. There is nothing Mohsen does not know about the history of his country. He was so helpful and even allowed us plenty of free time to explore the areas by ourselves which is something alot of tour guides genuinely don’t do. Mustafa was a great driver and a great person to have on the trip. If you want a guided tour of Luxor and want to learn about the history of this area look no further than this tour!!Written September 13, 2024

- Christina P0 contributionsPretty great tour :)This tour was pretty good. We were picked up on time by our driver Mustapha and our tour guide Hasan. Our first stop was valley of the kings. The ticket includes access to three tombs only so Hassan recommended the three best ones due to them being the most intact. It’s very interesting to hear the stories behind this place. If you want access to King Tut’s tomb you need to buy a separate ticket at the main entrance since there is no kiosk at the King Tut tomb or at least I didn’t see one. Walk with extra cash to pay for the ride from the entrance; to the tombs or I believe you can just walk. Additionally, keep 20 pounds available to pay to use the washroom. The place is super hot. It will drain you so wear comfortable shoes, light clothing, hat and sunscreen. Okay back to the tour, we explored all of the stops and it was really amazing to see these monuments withstanding the test of time. Note that most of these sites prohibit your tour guide from entering the tomb with you so Hasan took us aside and explained everything and then we went on our own. Overall it was a great tour and I highly recommend. Thank you to Hasan and Mustapha!Written September 13, 2024

Today’s half day tour was amazing. Rosdhy provided lots of information about dendera and the depictions on the wall. The blue paint is still visible on the pillars and the ceilings are tall and beautifully decorated.

An excellent trip with Moshen our very knowledgeable guide and Ahmed, a good driver. The car was comfortable and water and a snack was provided too.
Dendera temple is astonishing with so much to see and very different to many of the other temples you can visit. The images in bas relief on the ceilings in the first columned area are stunning and we could have spent hours looking at them all. We are keen photographers and our guide was very patient and gave us plenty of time. He explained so much about the different images and scenes all over the different parts of the temple. The colours , particularly in the reliefs on the ceilings are wonderful The temple is one of the few which is largely intact with pillars snd ceilings. Quite awesome. It was also interesting to go up to the second floor

Amazing day trip to the Dendera Temple. Our guide, Mohamed Awad, had great communication, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the temple, and was one of the best guides we’ve had so far. I would definitely recommend this excursion and would not miss this breathtaking temple!

The visit to Dendera Temple was truly enchanting. The temple's hieroglyphics and well-preserved carvings transported me back in time. Sayed, our guide, brought the history to life with his knowledge and deep understanding of ancient Egyptian culture. His insights added meaning to every corner of the temple, making the experience truly unforgettable. If you're ever in Egypt, don't miss the chance to explore Dendera Temple with Sayed

This was a great tour with the tour company REFLECTIONS. They were prompt with picking me up in a nice air conditioned car. The temple of Dendera is HUGE & Mohsen (my tour guide) took his time to show me many parts of it. He explained a lot of the myths & legends of the temple in such a great way. Definitely book this trip with Reflections for such a great tour!

The guide was early and messaged to say he was at the hotel, so that was a comfort.
The driver and the car were waiting outside the hotel in a nice clean large car for the two of us. A comfortable and interesting journey from Luxor to Dendera. It takes about 1.5 hrs. The guide took us all around the temple explaining everything, he didn’t rush us and gave us time to go back and take photos or ask questions. Dendera is fabulous so we were very pleased we had allowed time in our busy schedule to include this. On the journey back the driver stopped and got us fresh sugar cane juice. That was interesting to try. A great trip with a good driver, nice car and great tour guide. Would definitely recommend all of it.

First time in Egypt and visit Valley of Kings with the guide Barry was definitely amazing experience. He is an expert of Egyptian mythology and history, and he explained so well. l definitely recommend this tour with him.
The company picked me up at the airport with 10$ extra as it is clearly mentioned and the driver took me to my hotel first to do check in and to the meeting point. Very well organised. They also offers me some snack and some drink! Thank you!!

The historical detail was excellent. Our guide had an encyclopedic knowledge of the Valley of the Kings, Queens, Worker, Temple of Hatshepsut. He was also committed to showing us everything despite delays caused by other tour groups and extended the tour time. Aside from the beauty of the monuments , would highly recommend for the amount we learned.

Roshdy, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. I can say confidently that i trusted him and his judgment. I went with my close friend who had a disability, and Roshdy was extremely accommodating and hospitable and allowed us to enjoy the tour to Dendara slowly, at a great pace, and not feel rushed or pressured. We chose Dendara with "Reflection Travel" because they offered a single tour to to Dendara, rather than offering both Dendara and Abydos, to reduce the length of the tour. This was perfect for us, as the tour lasted about 5 hourish. Roshdy made sure that we had enough water, and allowed us to rest when we wanted to sit. He was also extremely knowledgeable, and has a very good heart, and great passion for knowledge about ancient Egypt. Reflection travel is an excellent tour company. Highly recommended. I am American and from Los Angeles, and we felt safe in the hands of our driver Abdul as well. The ride was also very comfortable, as we were able to request a larger vehicle to accommodate my friend and his crutch. Want to say once more, Reflection travel tour company has been excellent, and Roshdy and Abdul have been amazing.
